The seal on it is extremely tight and the box itself feels very strong. The only wish I have is that it would have some type of a carry handle/rope of some sort. But that is a minor issue.

I HAD TO REPLACE THE FIRST TWO BECAUSE THE HINGES BROKE AND I WAS NO LONGER ABLE TO CLOSE THE BOX TIGHTLY. That I have backup external hard drives makes me feel secure; that these drives are stored in Otter boxes, where they are protected from just about any adverse circumstance, makes me feel double secure.

The Defender equipped iPhone fits perfectly into the DryBox and there is room to spare for my wallet, key fob, charging cord, etc. I don't use it often because the Defender Case is good for 95% of the threats my iPhone might face. HOWEVER, it's nice to have in my gear locker for when I'm on or near the water... it's nice knowing my iPhone is safe from the elements.

I tried bumping it and once dropped it from about five feet in my bedroom. The lid remained secure. I'm going to put it in the tub during my next shower, something I've never attemped before; I bet it won't leak. the inside has a rubber lineing; soft to the touch. I'm looking forward to OTTER making additional BOXES for my varied needs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Drybox 3250 Series - Well made, but too heavy The Drybox 3250 Series is well made and does the job of keeping a mobile phone and car remote keys dry when the drybox is submerged in water. A perfect drybox if you are in a heavy recreational canoe or kayak. However, I am a marathon surfski racer. I pay big bucks so I can race a 20 pound 21 foot carbon-fiber surfski. The Drybox 3250 Series is way too heavy to carry in my surfski during a race where every ounce in weight counts. I need a lightweight sealable hard plastic box that will keep my mobile phone and key-bob dry if I capsize. In a surfski, if you capsize, you just upright the boat and jump back in. I have tried sealable soft plastic bags designed for mobile phones; however they can leak as I discovered when a few drops of water entered the soft plastic bag I had my mobile phone in, resulting in my $600 mobile phone not being able to make a phone call anymore.

The 3250 is smaller than it was previously and the design indicates that it won't be any thinner and a 3000 will not return with the current design. :(. I still have hope of seeing 2500, 3500 and 1000 in the future but the forecast is dim based on the design.

Never sank and was bone dry after over a hour. Only issue was that the first time put it in the front of the wave runner all the bouncing made it come open. Spilling the contents of my wallet and putting my phone and charging pack in a wet environment. No damage but will wrap in a towel next time.

It clips too the side of the cooler and is the perfect size to store my iPhone 7+ and two auxiliary lenses. I don't use my phone a whole lot while camping and this makes a great place to store it and keep it protected. It will also be great for tubing.

I needed to find a protective case for my IPhone XR that already has an Otterbox Defender series case on it for total protection while mowing my 4 acre property from dust, grass, vibration etc. Otterbox Drybox 3250 Series was roomy enough for my phone and very solidily built and airtight. Two slits in sides for strapping Drybox down as well as two holes for locks. I highly recommend this product!!!

I bought this to reduce the vibration while riding my motorcycles. On a prior phone the vibrations rendered the phone useless.

I actually really liked this drybox because it was rugged and IP68 rated, padded inside and fit my phone perfectly but when I flipped my kayak the drybox came unlatched and opened up and I lost my phone. It failed me in the one instance I depended on it to do it's job. Major disappointment!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My last otterbox was a Hero Thank You My last otterbox wasDrybox as well all the same just in Yellow. I surfed with it on back of my longboard for probably 1000 surf sets. I had it all over the world and countless days in the Sun. Unfortunately big Yellow finally gave up. After getting run over by two trucks, lost in the ocean 4 times, 1000 days on the beach, used as dogs chew toy, and drunk forgot it in the bottom of a pool party. Yep always kept my cards, phone, and watch perfect. Thank you I look forward to my new Otterbox and the adventures we will have

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excelent product This is a very good dry box. It is large enough for a wallet, cell phone and keys. Very watertight. I take it out on my stand up paddle board and it has kept the contents dry, even when the box has ended up in the water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cut my finger opening the Otter Box Dear Otter Box, I can tell you what I don't love and that is the fact that I cut my finger opening my Otter box the first time I tried to open it. The box was sealed closed so tight that it took several tries to open it. On the last try I sliced the top of my second finger on what I discovered is a very sharp edge on the closure of my new otter box. This is my second otter box. I bought this one to fit my iPhone 7Plus and while it fits just fine I had no idea it would be so deep. I can say that I'm not very happy with this product. My finger is almost healed. Rated 5 out of 5 by from From the beach to the lake Great little dry box. I toss my phone, wallet, keys into it and take it kayaking with no worries of leaks. It's also great to take to the beach... I toss it in a string backpack and am able to keep it on me while snorkeling without worries of theft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Otterbox Drybox is pretty Schweet It is a great item. Very durable, vacuum sealed, and great for Outdoors. I rated it 4, as the only thing I do not like, is the way it closes. I had one from previous years and it seems to close differently. When closing, you have to force the hinges to close it. I am not certain if this is normal, but I fear could case wear over time, but maybe I am wrong. All in all, it is an incredible product. Otterbox hands down, makes incredible products and has the best Customer Service I have ever seen. 4 Stars or not, I buy for protection of my mobile devices and anything that needs protection, I only use Otterbox. Have an issue? Rest assured, Otterbox has got you covered!
