It Works
I like the color, I like the texture, I like the way I can use it as a stand. I never have had a OtterBox fail and I so far this is what I expected. It works! I do think the button to turn the iPad off works stiff but that is the only thing I would change

Exactly what I wanted
Got a new iPad for my birthday, so needed another cover for it. As I buy all my phone covers, decided to try one for the iPad. Delighted with my purchase, the cover is perfect, iPad slots in and protects it well.

This product has a great secure shield for the body of the iPad. I feel comfortable that when this drops, there will be little damage, if any, to the iPad. That being said there are a few design flaws for this case. Overall, the weight of the iPad dramatically increases (to be expected the more protection a case claims to have. The biggest issue is the cover flap of the device. The lip of the cover that holds the cover to the case is too wide: meaning that when the cover folds over, the flap will hang too far off one edge of the case. The cover also is not aligned properly/too large for the inset of the main body of the case. It does not stay in the lipped edge of the case, so it never feels flat and one third always folds over. The cover flap is also really heavy. This makes it durable when switching between different views. The magnets engage very well with each other to hold the triangle shape well. However, because the cover is not able to sit flat against the screen, the cover will not hold to the case when flipped over or, if you hold the edge close to the binding, one third of the cover will flap down (especially holding an electronic pencil). While I appreciate the high quality materials and feeling of the case, this either was not designed properly or the tolerances were not adequately calculated to the manufacturing company.

The product does its job really well. My iPad Pro is a tool that is working all the time, and for it to be damaged is NO NO.
The case allows me to now worry about accidental drops, knocks and the occasional squirt.

Lightweight but protective
I bought 7 of these for my office staff and we have been extremely happy with the purchase. The case is very functional but also light weight, and the staff likes that the back of the case is transparent. I also like that Otterbox has the best warranty in the business. I would recommend combining the case with a screen protector for maximum protection.

Light weight but protects iPad
This case is similar to the one I had for my old iPad 5 which Otterbox sent me to replace a broken different case. Only had to pay shipping. Lifetime warranty. I like that one so got same for new iPad 8. Like the new color in blue. It also has holder for pen. Can stand at different angles. Goes to sleep when close.

Was not what I expected. Like the color. When you fold over the cover it’s flimsy. It’s not a hard left side. It’s not like the other otter box cover that I had on my old iPad.

Another solid iPad case
This is the third otterbox I’ve purchased for my iPads over the years, but the first with a folding cover. So far it feels solid and comfortable. It’s kind of crazy how thin these iPads are now a days. I wouldn’t let my kids near it until we got this case.

Works well with the screen protector, its easy to put on the iPad and take off but strong enough that if it falls it won’t come out of the case. The cover is great and the screen wakes up everytime it’s opened; I use my stylus as a handle to open it cause without it it’s alittle hard to pick up off the screen.
I didn’t appreciate being double charged for my order but it went away a couple days later.

As Described and Awesome Choice
I bought this item for my eight year old granddaughter because I bought her her own iPad instead of having hand-me-downs as she would call it. This product is perfect because of the pencil holder which she has. It holds the pen securely and the color is nice. We love the way it has a clear back because her iPad was engraved with her name and and the words, "ARTIST," because her paintings are just beautiful for her age. This product is also strong and sturdy and can take a beating, therefore, I trust that it will last her for years to come. Thank you

Not worth the money.
I feel that Otterbox missed the mark on this product. The magnets won't even keep it closed. If you drop or your I pad falls the front will pop open and you have a broken I pad. Very disappointed in this product!!

Not worth the money
I bought this folio case and waited weeks for it. It was not worth the wait. The folio is only the front. The back is clear plastic which ruins the aesthetic. The stand only works horizontally, not vertically. Pretty disappointed!

Doesn't fit iPad 8 and magnets not aligned
This product will not fit the iPad 8th generation. Support advised it is a tight fit but unable to get the height and width into the. When the side volume buttons are aligned with the case the iPad is nearly 9mm longer on the bottom and. The screen sleep magnets are also not correct. When positioned over the screen the magnets repel the cover from the front of the iPad and do not cause the screen to go to sleep. Design theory and look of the product is great but this product was poorly executed from test to final product that is being distributed to customers. Also please get better advise for your customer service then push harder on a screen and risk breaking an expensive electronic. Will be returning.

Feels comfortable + safe while holding
I got this case for my 8th gen circa 2020 maybe 2019 and it’s holding up really well! I’ve dropped my iPad on flooring multiple times and nothing ever happened to it (aside from basic wear and tear). Highly recommend any otter box case if you’re looking for a high quality phone case. Thx Otterbox :)

A bad choice
It is a nice design however it leaves much to be desired. The cover was ripping within 2 months and just fell off after another month. The hinge portion was not heavy duty but a piece of tape that just couldn’t hold up. I would suggest you find another model

The cover is a little floppy. I hope it will provide shock protection for my new iPad. Wish it came with a glass face to cover the screen, had to buy that separately. Wish it came with more color options, I guess that the clear back is meant to show off a skin on the iPad.

Very rugged! I have a bad habit of being rough on my electronics and these cases work great! I also have an otterbox on my cellphone and have had that one for many years!
