A 10.2 MP Live MOS sensor of the Panasonic LUMIX GH5S features the Dual Native ISO technology developed for Panasonic VariCam professional cinema cameras, leveraging a dual-base ISO setting to minimize noise and maximize image quality from low to high sensitivity. The sensor partnered with the Venus Engine delivers a maximum ISO 51200 / Extended ISO 204800 for minimal noise at high sensitivity and a beautiful rendition of dark areas in the frame.
The LUMIX GH5S offers multiple recording modes utilized for cinema, broadcasting and other professional applications. In addition to C4K/4K 60p/50p, C4K 24p 4:2:2 10-bit ALL-Intra 400 Mb/s and 4K 30p/25p/24p 4:2:2 10-bit ALL-Intra 400 Mb/s recording, unlimited recording is offered on all settings.
The LUMIX GH5S is capable of 4:2:2 10-bit real-time image output to an external monitor or recorder via an optional HDMI cable (full-size Type A), while simultaneously providing an internal 4:2:2 10-bit recording. It is suitable for professional video making that requires accurate monitoring of the imagery or high-quality recording to external codec devices.
