Philips - Always great
I love my new Philips LCD monitor 246V5LHAB V Line 24" (61 cm)monitor. It is larger than my old one; the display is bright; and I love the stereo speakers.
I worked for Philips as a technical writer at their Montreal plant (where the computers were made). Loved the job and love the company.

Auto feature is a problem
The auto feature may be the problem. The screen goes black and then back on with auto feature. Once the screen is back on, there is a constant adjustment with contrast flashing bright light off and on. This happens with stills and video as well. Very annoying. If this is a common complaint then please contact me to fix the problem.

Remarkably Clear

Good monitor at a reasonable price
Haven't done much with it yet, with what I have done the picture is sharp. Only knock is ease of use, for my set up the buttons are a bit hard to reach and the markings are small and faint so impossible to read without a flashlight.
