The BDR-XS06 slim slot portable USB 3.0 BD/DVD/CD burner is the Blu-ray disc burner from Pioneer. The BDR-XS06 features a smooth slot loading. This drive allows users to watch Blu-ray disc titles and author high-definition Blu-ray disc content. The drive supports the BDXL format. The BDR-XS06 can read BD-ROM discs, read/write to single, dual, triple, and quad layer BD-R discs, and is backward compatible to read and write to DVD and CD formats. The BDR-XS06 drive is USB powered, so no ac adapter is necessary.
The BDR-XS06 also has unique features such as PowerRead, Auto Quiet mode, and PureRead2+. PowerRead can provide smoother movie playback, when a disc has fingerprints or minor surface scratches. Auto Quiet mode intelligently adjusts the disc rotation speed to reduce noise (useful while watching movies or listening to music), and PureRead2+ automatically adjusts the drive parameters to minimize sound glitches during music playback. Auto Quiet mode and PureRead can be configured as well as enabled and disabled.
