Rated 5 out of 5 by from GARBAGE MONITOR. BOUGHT 4. 1 WENT BAD this samsung monitor is a joke. stay away. they're trying to dump them. after 60 days, this went bad out of buying 4! new. screen went yellow and they tried to fix it. takes a month. still not fixed. they're customer service is another joke. they want you to waste more time trying to get it repaired a second time before they replace it. the repair facility in new jersey is another joke. they will waste your time and sell you garbage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor the monitor is great picture is clear and crisp. the only reason i gave it 4 stars is the vesa mount holes are inset so not all vesa mounts will fit without aditional hardware. i had to go out and buy spacers and longer screws to be able to mount the monitor. the vesa mount screws holes should be flush or the monitor should come with appropriate hardware for mounting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great smoothness and colors but terrible ghosting i purchased this monitor after seeing alot of reviews and im really satisfied with all the feautures. but the ghosting. man the ghosting is weird and awful. mostly in green and blue colors it happens even if response time is at the fastest, gsync is off and contrast at 45-50. i also noticed 144hz didnt feel that smooth but i didnt mind since i used 240hz. i used the display port it came with and it worked ok. if this monitors ghosting wasnt existing it would be an amazing monitor. but for 260$ you cant expect alot from a budget 240hz monitor. would and would not recommend this monitor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dead on Arrival - Avoid it was quite frustrating opening this awesome looking monitor, reading the manual and following the instructions, setting everything up and then finding out it is doa. to complicate things more i purchased this in the us and took it to my other home in the bahamas. now, i have to return it back in the us. luckily i travel frequently and that will not be a problem however i did have to pay duty on it. thank you samsung for making me waste my money. seriously just avoid it guys. too many bad reviews aready.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the price granted, this isn't a ultra gaming monitor, so it doesn't have amazing specs, but it's a great value for it's price. 144 hrz made a big difference. my only complaint is that the stand is kind of oddly shaped, so it has a hard time sitting flush with my desk. all the weight seems to sit at the front of the stand, so i'm confused why it goes back like 5 inches. would also be nice if there was some sort of mounting hookup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great monitor i'm leaving a 5 star review because this monitor rocks for the price. also, someone left a review for not being able to mount the monitor...that person must not have known what they were doing...easy to mount just use spacers to clear the shroud, not very hard unless you make it hard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just like others have said G-Sync is horrible I'm enjoying the monitor as a whole. Like the curve, like the 240Hz but G- Sync should not be printed on this monitor. It does not work. Idk if it's an adaptive-Sync issue or a Samsung issue but, it's very misleading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Deceptive advertising Advertising 144 hz as 1 fps footage. Not to mention presenting 144hz and 240hz at 60 hz displays. Furthermore obviously showing sRGB color space image as demonstration of contrast. This is disgusting and after this I will never ever buy another product from Samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2 Week old it has been two week since i purchase and the button power/menu button started to have issue. g-sync is it working? don't know cause i still see break in the image where g-sync suppose to smooth it out. the menu sometime can't be read. turning it off is sometime a pain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Good 240hz monitor the monitor is good. the va panel looks great, the calibration of colors is great out of the box. the curve of the screen is good. can't say much about the stand because i use wallmount on my monitors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Value for 240hz Monitor works great at 240 fps. Very clear, and only a little ghosting but not too noticeable in game. On games that dip at about 100fps or lower, you can get weird imaging issues even with adaptive sync on. It is probably due to the screen tearing that would normally be there, but adaptive sync is trying to manage. So make sure you are changing the graphics settings on games optimal to performance on your PC to use the full 240 fps. That's where this monitor will shine, obviously! Va panel looks great, blacks are really good. The curve of the screen is not too crazy and is actually pretty nice. The stand only lets you have a little vertical tilt, no height adjustment. I would definitely recommend purchasing a monitor arm to adjust height if you need that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from There are better options out there I paid $400 for this monitor, I regretted it since then. There is not point in paying extra money for G-Sync, when every time you're gaming there is this annoying brightness flickering when you're in motion. I believe this is a VA Panel issue, and they will never admit it because there is fixing for this issue. I would've paid for $500 for another monitor with true G-Sync and a IPS Panel, if I knew this was going to happen. The monitor is fine with G-sync off, but why pay extra for G-sync, if you're going to keep it off. I don't recommend this monitor for $400. $300 is fair price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cannot mount this. this is a good monitor but for the fact that it doesn't lend itself to mounting. i tried two different monitor arms ans three different adapters and all i ended up doing was damaging the monitor because its so poorly designed. i don't understand why samsung doesn't design/sell a vesa adapter atleast. this monitor is impossible to mount and i am supremely disappointed. i'd rather have my 400$ back

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The colors are amazingly rich and deep. Ghosting has been a huge issue which I - only just now - solved. The solve? Turn off G-Sync. The problem may be caused by using a AMD video card that is just old enough to not have drivers that are able to use the (now) open source encoding for G-Sync. While the colors are fantastic (purple is the best example of rich color on this display), the refresh rate makes great use of my high end video card, and the curve is set to the exact distance for optimal viewing, and the contrast is sharp as a knife, the ghosting was so bad while gaming and watching movies the monitor was nearly unusable for anything that has high contrast smooth motion. Scrolling on web pages showed little to no signs of ghosting at all. But, motion in gaming was deeply "haunted".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is listed as G-Sync Monitor - But Ghosting Hi. I purchased this monitor specifically because it is listed as Gsync Compatible, and it is verfied by Nvidia as Gsync Compatible. Its great when its close to the refresh rate. However, some games that when the Frame Rates go below 100, or even 120 - 144hz, there is terrible ghosting and blurriness when Gsync is on. Why is this? If its officially Gsync Compatible, then there should be no ghosting as according to Gsync Compatibiltiy, Gsync should work 1-240 Hz on this. Perfect example: In Overwatch, during the menu screen, Blizzard caps it at 60FPS. There you can see terible purple ghosting on the characters or letters on the menu when they move, when they are on a darker background. Otherwise during game when you reach high refresh rate to 240hz, its fine. The monitor does have excellent colors and contrast, and it is indeed fast for a curved VA monitor. The only way to stop it, is to TURN OFF Gsync and ghosting goes away. But why should I need to do this? I bought an official Gsync Monitor to -- yes you guess it! -- use Gsync! When will Samsung acknowledge this issue with this monitor?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The quality (thus far) for $200 lets face it, find a good quality monitor is hard. we got my husband an asus monitor with more or less the same things as this minus the screen curve and honestly. i like the crispness of the samsung monitor better than his asus. for a first time gamer, let alone curved screen user, it threw my senses off a little bit at first. i actually want to get another one but i have to get a bigger desk first. for how little the cost, its really good for what we get.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor image quality False advertising, this monitor is not suitable for gaming and 144 Hz refresh rate will not help. Low price, poor image quality, issues with DP connection, no DP cable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good while it lasted at 200 dollars for a 140hz curved monitor, i thought it was a great deal and it was up until half the displays pixels died out on me. i had this monitor for less than a month and the pixels died.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great price, would allow greater than 85hz great price and great design but did not display 144hz without problems, tried several different displayport cables with a gtx 1070 that was not overclocked. could not push past 85hz settings on PC without red flickering pixels and artifact. RMA submitted.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brand New, Sent Back for Repair, Still an Issue when this was opened up out of the box it worked fine, then a few hours later a single line came down across the screen. i was able to send it back and they didn't charge me for it which is nice. i get it back and it is working great for a week or so, then i hit the key on my keyboard and that line is there in the same exact spot. i checked my cables, even took a screenshot and it wasn't there in the screenshot. this was a huge disappointment for me, especially since it took 2 weeks for the monitor to come back. i can;t recommend this to anyone knowing that they might experience the same issue, either by random chance or one wrong key press.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Broke within a month i bought two of these monitors and one has a yellow tint on half of the screen now. i've tried all of the basic things to clear it with no luck. finally i submitted a request for repair and samsung is requesting that i buy a box to ship it out. (if i were to keep every box that all the samsung items in my apartment came in i wouldn't have room to move). i don't think that requesting they provide a box for their monitor that broke within a month is a crazy request... not to mention boxes that have the necessary pads can be kind of costly at ups. the only reason i have given two stars is because i haven't had any issues with the other monitor yet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Disappointed Monitor stopped working after 10 months. Now 20% of the screen has no images. I paid a premium for this monitor expecting a high-quality, high-performing, reliable monitor. Now, it is useless. I do not recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Backlight bleed/clouding took advantage of the black friday deal on the 27” 240hz. good price and pretty screen, until i got to my screensaver. out of the box, day 1, intense severe backlight bleed/cloud. friend had same thing happen, different state/store but same product. we both returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dead Pixel this is a nice monitor. i bought two of them for two different workstations. however one has a dead pixel which is quite annoying when using the screen for creating blueprints and drawings. it is under warranty, but it has to be shipped back to samsung for service. so i've been without my monitor for about a week now. and when i check on-line for status, the samsung site shows an error. hopefully, they'll repair or replace the monitor quickly and get it back to me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Curved isnt great its not great to work on or use as a gaming monitor. The screw that goes in the monitor was stripped out and it doesn't want to power on fast and the power cord keeps slipping out of the power slot. I can't wait to get another brand because I had it shipped and it was returned for service that made me pay for even after it was brand new they wouldn't warranty this monitor

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buyer Beware i loved this monitor when i first got it in june 2020, however the last two months or so i have been having a horrible time with it. when the lines come up it takes about an hour of turning off and on the monitor as well as doing the self diagnosis. each time this happens its worse and worse. my computer is less than a year old, and i update everything frequently. i'm in the middle of a school semester and can't send it out for repairs. i can't miss that much school. if you want a monitor that is great for 6 months spend the $200 however, right around the 6 months you'll start having issues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value from sale, borderline broken g-sync for the large part it's not a bad monitor. picture is actually rather decent for a cheap 1080p gaming monitor. good colors, okay contrast, takes fairly little calibration to get decent image out of it. it's all plastic, but looks okay from afar and at least the bezels are relatively thin. base is bare minimum and mounting takes 75mm spacing which might be a challenge. for a va panel there is surprisingly mild ghosting, definitely in usable territory. seems to lack variable overdrive when g-sync is enabled though, leading to absolutely horrible overshoot at anything below 200 fps. if you can maintain 240 fps on your games, this is a usable monitor with g-sync enabled. if not, this isn't really a viable monitor, at least without disabling g-sync. often found on sale.
