Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolute Life Changer.I've read reviews of dead pixels being a problem on these but I ordered anyways, and I am so glad I did. My CRG9 arrived faster than originally stated and was in absolute perfect condition, no dead pixels, no backlight bleed, just a perfect super ultrawide monitor. It was just plug and play and I couldn't be more happy. Games looked and felt amazing on it. Rainbow Six: Siege looks incredible on it. Forza Horizon 4 played like a dream, it was so realistic feeling. I just cannot get over how amazing this monitor is. I'm so happy I took the chance and got one. I came from a QHD 144Hz monitor and I couldn't tell the difference between what I was used to (144Hz and the 120Hz. Everything played amazing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Biggest disappointment of 2019 so farI really wanted to like this monitor, but it's got an uneven backlight, massive smearing on dark colors, color shift whenever I BOB MY HEAD, and it had over 20 dead pixels.Way to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, Samsung. You had NO competition. You blew it. And to top it all off, you try to prevent people from using ad blockers when writing reviews. Great company.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Be careful purchasing this one!I purchased this model hoping I'd get lucky and not receive a broken display. After all the negative reviews regarding dead pixels and quality control problems, I tried my luck and was disappointed in the end. Purchased from Amazon and it was dead on arrival. Had to return it. I was really looking forward to this one. :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HDR metadata bug !SAMSUNG QC on this batch is nonexistent. Had to change 5x panels due to deadpixel or objects stuck inside panel. Improve QC. Its great display tho BUT you NEED TO SOLVE HDR BUG ASAP. Release a a firmware for WASHOUT COLORS IN GAMES WHEN HDR IS ACTIVATED.When everything works it amazing

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Several dead pixels on arrivalBought this back last month from Amazon. When it finally arrived, I had several dead pixels and a damage spot on the screen. I sent it back immediately and went with a different brand that didn't have QC issues. I really wanted to have this monitor for my setup but unfortunately it just didn't work out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good but needs tweaksSo this monitor is great at what it is at its core: a 1440p ultrawide gaming monitor. It's just what I've always wanted for fantastic flight sim immersion, but Samsung does need to step up their support game and fix a few of the issues that still plague this beast. I, like many others, do have a few dead pixels, but fortunately mine are stuck on black and in the very, very bottom left hand corner where they really don't bother me at all. If they were in the middle of the screen however, it'd be a different story. My second issue with this monitor is how washed out and horrible things look when I turn on HDR. Now I can't say for certain this isn't a windows or nvidia issue, but I definitely think this is something that can and really needs to be addressed with a Samsung firmware update. Thirdly, the mutual exclusion of features is a bit annoying. Like only being able to have 8bit color at 120hz, and needing to drop down to 100hz to get 10bit, and some other bits that get disabled when you have freesync on, and so forth. If everything was perfect right out of the box, it'd be worth the MSRP. As it stands I feel it's more like a $1200 monitor, but I'm still happy with that because there's nothing else that lets me fly with a full field of vision at 1440p and >60hz, so for it's main purpose, I'm still quite happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 10 bit color, HDR 1000... what a joy!I had the 1080p version of this monitor but did the upgrade for the 1440p... so glad i did! Mine arrived with no problems what so ever. A shame that not everyone had the same luck but as far as my experience goes it is by far the best monitor i had. Im really glad with it!10 bit color @ full RGB can only be achieved at 100hz, but im more than happy to compromise 20hz and get the full RGB with 10bit color... Gaming on this requires a top end graphic card because the pixel count its near a 4K monitor, so at the very least a 2080 is required. im pushing this baby on 2080ti and so far has been doing the job... Anothe thing i think was a big improvement was the Freesync which doesn't have flicker like my old 1080p version had. So to resume, im really really happy!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Monitor, Horrible Quality Control & ServiceI have purchased two of these CRG9s for my business due to the resolution, HDR, and refresh rate. On paper, this monitor is incredible value for the money. Unfortunately, both of my monitors had dead pixels, and the first had some kind of color uniformity issue whilst the second has some foam and dirt trapped behind behind the bezels. What kind of quality control is this? Furthermore, when I contacted customer service for an exchange, they told me to return and reorder it. That’s a great solution except for the fact that it’s out of stock. So either way, I have a bad display, and I can’t get a refund or a new one without significant downtime. You know who does have advanced exchanges? Dell. Dell sells a U4919W, a 60Hz IPS version of this monitor, but unlike Samsung they stand behind their products and will rush an advanced exchange monitor to you, free of charge. After 15 days, Samsung tells you you’re straight out of luck and you have to hope and pray they’re tech support will be able to repair the defective panel, while you’re out of cash and a monitor. Don’t waste your time with the CRG9, it’s a great monitor but Samsung epically failed the execution.
