Rated 5 out of 5 by from All i could ask forI got it as a gift about a year ago and it's honestly great. Battery still lasts long, performance is still the same, and the software has only gotten better with updates. Incredibly appropriate for students

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Chromebook With a Slight Issue...I received this Chromebook not too long ago for Christmas, and it's very nearly everything I could have wanted from a Chromebook. Powerful enough to do nearly anything you could want from a cloud-based computing solution, and a solid keyboard design despite the small size - initially, missing some common keys like Caps Lock and Delete threw me, but I've found myself not missing them all that much. The main issue I have is that though the battery does indeed last an impressive 10-11 hours with typical use, the charger does not like sitting in the charging port, and will frequently "fall out" if you're not babysitting it. I put that in quotes because it doesn't really fall out, the Chromebook is just very specific about the positioning of the charger and even a slight shift will stop your Chromebook from charging. Just last night I had plugged my Chromebook in to charge overnight, and awoke to the battery sitting at 50% after the charger had shifted and stopped shifting. I can imagine that if you intend to bring the Chromebook with you on a trip, finding that your battery had stopped charging halfway could be rather inconvenient, but for home use it's more an annoyance than anything. Additionally, the power supply's bulk is placed at the outlet, which is a valid design choice but makes it so that you may have trouble fitting the charger in every tight-fit outlet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of unfixed problemsOrdered this 500C13 K03US new chromebook for Christmas. Was supposed to be one of the better ones. Mouse track pad doesn't work - out of the box it doesn't work. Plugged in a wired mouse through USB and that worked. Searched the web and it turns out this is a common problem. Followed all suggestions including - take it outside to avoid RFID interference, 'drumming the keyboard with finger tips," hard reset - stopped short of something called a "USB reset - wherein the entire OS has to be reloaded." WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT. Samsung was once a solid brand that we favored which is why I chose this. However, we've had problems with refrigerator and dishwasher too. DO NOT BUY THIS chromebook. What a hassle. WHAT A H A S S L E!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as expectedI'm six months into my CB 3. Works well, down loaded videos to sdmicro, great for long plane trips. Great WIFI response for the ac installed system. My Bank and Financial apps all work flawlessly. I use webroot security, haven't upgraded to vpn yet. One of the better features is to be on Chrome MSN has had to strip down all their background adds and other trash. It makes it great to get this news source without all the download bloat on my desktop. Had a Samsung Tab4 for three years till the battery gave out. The 11 hour use of the CB3 is a stretch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value and a Top Performer!I chose this Samsung product over some worthy competition because it had double the onboard storage of most other Chromebooks. I wanted the speedy boot time and quick access that a Chromebook provides and this one truly delivers. It has been completely trouble free and is well built, with no apparent problem spots. Setup is a snap, access to websites and email is jiffy quick, and the display looks great. I can recommend it without hesitation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Basic BrowsingAs the title says it's great for basic functions. This isn't a power user machine, but if you saw the specs and thought it was then that's on you.To clarify an issue someone else mentioned - The charger seems loose and falls out. You need to click the charger in with a bit of force. At first i thought it was odd, but quickly realized this. If that is their only issue hopefully this solves it for others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gr8 deviceI got this in December 2017 and it has never failed or been unreliable. It's just this kind of small (perfect size for me black (slick design, cool textured back) laptop with cute lowercase letters on the keyboard. It is perfect for me, because I am not a very responsible owner and the water resistant keyboard has saved me many times. The battery life is amazing which is also a plus.Chrome OS works very well. I am in the Beta program so I get new features faster and over time I feel like my device has actually become faster. Android Apps are very useful from the Play Store. I've also been using the HDMI cable to connect to my TV, how convenient, and the microSD slot is a useful way to increase storage (which is only 32GB but I've never reached that limit in my 1 year of usage). The newly added Linux apps feature makes it so that Chrome OS doesn't feel restricted and I am already using it.It's really easy to use and perfect for my type of usage and I would easily recommend it!
