Rated 5 out of 5 by1234 from No Notification AlertsThe watch does not notify you for text messages, calendar appointments, etc (no vibration or sound) if your phone is on silent. I spoke with multiple Samsung techs who told me there is no functionality for this, it only works if the phone is set to vibrate. I work in an office environment and keep my phone on the desk on silent so it isnt disturbing by vibrating all day long. I thought having a discrete, near silent vibrate on the wrist would circumvent that. It blows my mind that this isnt an option... if you set your phone to vibrate, why would you need your watch to vibrate as well? I would think the only time you would want the watch to vibrate would be when your phone is on silent. Ready for the crazy part? It does vibrate when the phone is in silent mode if you receive phone calls! It just makes no sense... The watch looks great and has a lot of features and I was really excited to get it, but the lack of common sense in the notification settings is a real dissapointment. I will be returning it tomorrow.

Rated 5 out of 5 byLevRe from BEST WATCH I EVER HADIt's been three months now and i am still finding new thing in this watch. Being a former I.T i though i would not be impress by tech anymore, but this watch surprise me everyday. Battery last 48 hours for me it's like the watch know i need it. And let me not start with the fact that i no longer need my phone in my pocket to call anymore. Thank you Samsung you did a great job with this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 bydrafn010 from What a Watch!I have upgraded several times through the series of the Samsung watches and am once again pleased with this Samsung watch. The battery life is amazing and has lasted me days at a time. I love that I can take my watch on runs and not need the bulk of my phone, being able to have access to calls, texts, and my music all from the convenience of the watch. I also appreciate the ability to set "help" notifications if something were to happen. The watch has a nice look and is not too bulky. It is nice being able to change the faces to fit my mood or by what is going on throughout my day. Whether I want a sporty look or a look that is geared towards my work day. Being able to track my steps and my heart rate all throughout the day is another great feature. I will continue to upgrade through this great watch. Disclaimer:I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJoisezjr from EhThis is my first smart watch and I am a little disappointed. There are not that many apps on this thing. Why would samsung use tizen on its watch but android on its flagship phones? The logic doesnt make sense. Get more apps. I want google maps, chrome browser, gmail; not samsung web browser, or email app.

Rated 5 out of 5 bydavidwillbethere from I love this watchI have had this about 6 months. I can make crisp phone calls, text with voice my family and friends, and many other features. I know the step count is a little off, I just mentally add a mile or two to the total, its not my main reason for having this. The alarms are great! I like waking up to wrist vibration, not a sound alarm. Some watch faces do run more battery, I have dozens of faces that I purchased. Battery life is good, but I put it on the charging cradle when I wake up and take a shower, and for a few minutes when I get home from work. Little charges through the day and I am always between 80-100 percent. I purchased leather watch bands on amazon for about $15, and a metal band also. I love it. I would like to see better ability to get answers from internet through watch. I use tethered to bluetooth or standalone. I have a seperate phone line for it and its own data plan for $10 thru T-Mobile.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMrTony from No MST is a deal-breakerMST has always been one of my favorite "in your face" features of Samsung Pay. People tell me all the time "we don't accept Apple pay here” when I go to pay with my phone. I reply "good thing I'm not using Apple pay" & smile when they're shocked that it works. Now you've taken that feature away from the watch!? Are you seriously trying to drive customers like me away? I've had a Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, Gear S (LTE) & Gear S2 Classic (LTE). My Gear S2 Classic came off contract after the Galaxy Watch was released, so no Gear S3 for me. Without MST, no Galaxy Watch either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by360jeff from Best Galaxy Watch YetPrior to me getting my new Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE 46mm, I had a Samsung Gear S2. What am improvement. The watch is a little larger but is more comfortable to wear than the previous one. The larger size makes it easier to see than my previous watch as well. Samsung has made the bezel even better and easier to turn. I am still getting used to customizing the watch for my daily needs and look forward to making it perfectly my own.

Rated 5 out of 5 bySEAJAMS1 from So pleased to have this watch!I gave up watches a number of years ago since I always had my phone with me, but after my fitness tracker died in 2017, I bought their smart watch last year. While it was okay, it was not everything I wanted in a smart watch. The Samsung Galaxy LTE 46mm that I got is. The Galaxy Watch syncs so quickly with my phone and I love the features it provides. I have downloaded a couple of custom watch faces, but will probably try building my own at some point. The fitness tracking is excellent, but I was amazed at how accurate the sleep tracking is as well. I have yet to use the Samsung Pay feature, but will be doing so soon. The LTE is a very nice feature. I can leave my phone behind, yet still stay connected. You can even customize your quick text responses. The only drawback on the LTE feature I have found is I have gotten a couple a calls and text messages on the number that was assigned to the watch that you are unable to respond to.The battery life is also a PLUS, I am getting a good 4 days with a charge and can easily charge it while sitting at my desk. The reminders to get moving have been nice too, since I tend to get focused at my desk and forget to move regularly.I am loving this watch and the features it brings to my wrist!

Rated 5 out of 5 byJesseGee from A watch for everyday useOne of the reasons I purchased this watch is because you can customize it to use everyday for any occasion. The custom watch faces can change from a classic watch for a formal event to a sport face for fitness. You can even add the "ticking" soud!. The special tracking features are a plus. The internal gps sends your route information to you phone to track your fitness progress. You can also pair up your wireless earbuds for music, calls and fitness coach. I also like how it reminds you to move when you are standing still for a period of time. This watch wants you to be active. The internal speaker also lets you listen to music and answer calls. There are more features to discover on this watch and I cant wait to find them.

Rated 5 out of 5 byLeo24 from Lacking Samsung Pay for legacy Point of SaleI was waiting for the redesign of this watch but was disappointed to learn that the watch would lack support for Samsung pay to make purchases on legacy Point of Sale systems. Despite the fact that many retailers are moving towards NFC support, Samsung pay has stood out by having this unique feature. Removing this feature limits my ability to leave my wallet, and my phone, behind when making purchases. Despite beauty and evolution of the Galaxy Watch, this is a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT......Also, the history of limiting the 4g devices to specific carriers is a real turn off to any Samsung Device.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBobken75 from Beyond ExpectationsI didn't expect much when I received my new Galaxy Watch however once I opened it and powered it on my expectations quickly changed. Having owned several smart watches over the years I expected this to be just like the rest. I've quickly became bored with previous watches and felt them to be extremely fragile for my day to day use. However with my new galaxy watch I find it to be a very attractive watch that feels more durable than others. Now I don't take full advantage of the watches capabilities,(yet. I do like the many available watch faces to choose from and the ability to leave my phone in my pocket and still be able to view my notifications and receive phone calls. This Watch has become my daily go to. I can't wait to learn everything else it's capable of.

Rated 5 out of 5 byPbaskerville from Time to UpgradeI recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch and it has been everything I expected it to be! I bought the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 Classic when it first launched and was immediately hooked. If you are wondering if you should upgrade then I can tell you that now is the time. The Galaxy Watch has a battery that can last for 3 days easy. My Gear S2 started to last around 3/4 of a day and this has been a very welcomed improvement. The Galaxy Watch also has a nice etched crown that makes the watch look more like a traditional watch and the haptic feedback from rotating the bezel feels crisp. The 46mm watch face is huge so if you have a smaller wrist you may want to consider the 42mm version. The screen on this watch is by far the best I have seen. The watch faces look good enough to pass as a real watch with the always on feature as well as the intense brightness. I would recommend turning down the brightness to about 3 out of 10 as the watch comes with an Outdoor mode that will change the brightness when it detects sunlight.

Rated 5 out of 5 byWeJerodoehT from Galaxy smartwatch of the future!!!I recently upgraded form the Gear S3 to the Samsung Galaxy Watch. I must admit that they are both great, but I am happy that I upgraded to the Galaxy Watch. The battery lasts so much longer. I am able to use all the apps that I have previously been using as well. It was a very simple transition and the watch is very easy to use. Having the Watch on my data plan is also very helpful. I tend to misplace my phone, but I am always wearing my watch. Now I always know where my phone is, or I can easily find it with the assistance of the Galaxy Watch. I love that I can make calls and send texts without using my S10. When I go out, sometimes I don’t want to bring my phone and this is the solution! I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone looking to get a smartwatch. It’s simple to use and has so many features that I keep finding when I need it.

Rated 5 out of 5 byISPublic from Excellent WatchReceived the product ahead of time and I was excited as it was very user friendly to set up. Calling the carrier caused some confusion since they couldn't figure out how to register the watch. However, when I paired it to my phone it automatically asked me if I wanted to paired with my phone and add a separate LTE line with my carrier and it automatically set up. Hence, there was no need to call carrier to set up. It has worked flawlessly so far and the battery last so far 2 days with watch face ON all the time and receiving multiple notifications throughout the day since I receive breaking news notifications from different sources. I have tested the LTE feature by not having the phone connected in Bluetooth and have been able to receive texts and make/receive phone calls. I love all watch faces I can choose from. I have been an avid watch collector all my life. However, with this mane faces, I see no need to continue purchasing watches since I can change the look often.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDgood18 from Excellent SmartwatchThe Samsung Galaxy smartwatch is very comfortable, and I love the form factor compared to another smart watch I’ve used that is only available in a rectangular shape. The weight of the watch is light, but does have enough to feel like a watch and a great build quality. In reality, the LTE does allow you to leave the smartphone behind, but I rarely do. Where the SmartWatch shines is the fitness tracking being much more consistent and the ability to more discreetly determine if a call, text or email needs your attention versus taking out your phone. The sleep detection is very cool. The large battery of the 46 mm version makes wearing the watch all night feasible and then some. It does take a little longer than a shower to fully recharge, but that’s ok because you don’t need to get to 100% to make it through the day. Although it should be fine, I’ve never showered or swam with it. Only negative I’ve see so far is that the watch will prompt you for movement, and sometimes does not recognize the exercise it recommends. But any real workout, walk, stairs, steps, sleep, heart rate, etc is seemly tracked without thought or use intervention.

Rated 5 out of 5 byBig Daddy Pat from VERY ImpressedOut of the box...very nice packaging accomplished again by Samsung. The box the watch is packaged in is a hard protective container that assures your item is in pristine condition. Includes a charger, small and large wristband and brief startup instruction booklet. The watch is very similar to the Gear S3 classic (which I own and looks very classy compared to other smart watches on the market. The only drawback is the 46mm is a little to large looking on the wrist for me. (My S3 is the 42mm) Overall it still is a very classy looking smartwatch. The battery life is amazing. I went 4 days without a charge but this is based on Bluetooth connection right now as I have not connected to my cell phone provider yet. Fitness features are good along with the built in music storage. I am VERY impressed with this new design and for now giving it 4 stars as I will update again later. Rated 5 out of 5 byDMKahlan from Good looking watch, lacking one major feature.I recently had to upgrade my Samsung Gear S3 smartwatch and decided to get the new 4G LTE Galaxy Watch. Overall impression is that this watch is a very nice upgrade, until I went to the store and tried to use my watch to pay for an item. Samsung took a huge step backwards and removed the MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission feature from this watch. That one my number favorite feature about the Gear S3 watch. If using Google Pay from your watch is not that big of a deal, this is the smartwatch for you. I, however, am really disappointed as this feature is what separated them from all other smartwatches.

The battery life is totaly the opposite as it should be. I read a lots of comments and reviews about this watch before i bought it, and all the comments were positive, all said that the battery is fabulous etc. But today i left home at 9 am morning with 100% battery life, now it's 4 pm and battery is 34%. And other than that the display doesn't work correctly, sometimes it turns off and on automatically, sometimes it's not. It has some mulfunction that i have to restart it so that it work correctly. I didn't break it, or done something that would lead to damage.

I wish it wasn't so bulky but then again it does stand out and is noticed by other people. The watch was able to sync up with my note 9 with no issues and battery life was actually really good compared to other smart watches I have used in the past. The heart rate monitor is by far my favorite and I use it constantly when i am running or working out. Rated 5 out of 5 bySeito Smart User from Very Cool...Room for ImprovementsI had always wanted a smart watch, and since my phone is a Galaxy, and I utilize Samsung SmartThings to govern all the smart tech at home, this purchase was a logical choice. While Samsung develops and modifies their products towards the masses, not every desire may be available with the watch itself. For example, some applications on your phone may not be compatible with the watch and fail to produce alerts even with notifications for said app turned on. Additionally, the capabilities between the watch and Samsung SmartThings is limited. It does offer general control for your smart tech, but certain routines and/or scenes may not duplicate from the classic app to the newer SmartThings version. The watch only recognizes routines/scenes which are in the newest SmartThings app, while some users (including myself prefer the classic app. Overall great product, but not perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 byJGR1972 from I have an AT&T LTE Gear S3 - waiting for the AT&TI like my Gear S3 a lot, It is getting a bit worn and I think I would like some of the additional capability of the Galaxy Watch. But AT&T LTE is a requirement and so far I have not found any solid evidence that such will be forthcoming.

Rated 5 out of 5 bySmilodon_rogue Bolo from Disappointed overallWatch has great features. My major gripe is the short battery life. initial discharge was decent, but after second recharge the battery life has gotten increasingly shorter. I performed a reset and disabled S-Health but that solution is short lived. Overall nice watch with major flay

Rated 5 out of 5 byAllyD from Love my galaxy watch! We waited along time before getting a smart watch and I'm glad we finally decided to get them. They are amazing. Great battery life, about 4 days. They do so many things. Absolutely love my galaxy watch. I love that I can leave my phone at home and still take calls and respond to messages, and get all my notifications.

Rated 5 out of 5 byRshackle from What Happened?Limited styles on a premium watch? I don't get it. No MST? I don't get it. It seems like Samsung wants to appeal only to people who want more exercise routines. If that's the case they have succeeded. Great battery and swim-ready are nice; but how many of us really want to swim with a watch? I don't.

Rated 5 out of 5 byResearch n Development from foldable watch in future model...Anyone know if there are plans to release a foldable screen watch since the foldable phones have started? Maybe tri-fold with a plug in vr wearable glasses... hot swappable sim card from your existing phone into the watch... 1 tb micro sdcard... solar charging display screen... satellite up link option in case there aren't any cell towers while sailing halfway around the world... Projector mode to display a 50" screen on any wall to watch movies... lastly, a built-in led flashlight with dual 4k camera/video for secret agent mode. The removable watch head that can fly like a drone for the 2nd edition to be used as selfies or vlogging...

Rated 5 out of 5 byjlskinn from Fantastic watch except for one issueI love this watch. I got this one after having the Gear S3 Frontier. they are essentially the same watch with the same features. although I do like the all black look of the Frontier better but the battery life was very poor. My only real issue with the this version is that after many attempts and having to send the watch in for repair, Samsung pay with the NFC does not work. Major disappointment. that was one of the big features I loved on the Frontier.

Rated 5 out of 5 bykennyquach00 from The Best Watch Ever !!I have had the watch a little over a week now and I have been wearing it almost 24/7. The battery life is really good. I get almost three days out of it before charging with a good amount of use. I know there was some issue early on regarding the step counter, but I have tested this out several times and it is almost spot on. Give or take a couple of steps. Perhaps this has been resolved since then. Anyway, I highly recommend this watch if you have an Android phone. It has been great for me thus far. If things change I will update my review, but for now it's five stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 byLesterfamilyMd from the bad and the goodAt first, I must admit I was a little skeptical concerning this watch, as I had purchased two AZW watches that were bulky and buggy; and ultimately returned them for refunds. But this skepticism for the Samsung Galaxy 4G LTE 46 mm was quickly defused as I wore the watch the very first time; unlike the AZW watches this watch was light and it felt better on my wrist. It has not been buggy; however my experience for the battery life has proven disappointing, as it needs a charge every other day as opposed to the 3-4 day life I found in it's reviews I read; that's the bad. The good is this watch has many feature benefits that have proven a God-send for my needs in a personal assistant let alone just a watch. The many built-in health apps have coordinated nicely with me growing need to lose that unwanted baggage I have been adding on over the years. The seamless blue-tooth connectivity with my new car. The plethora of watch faces I need for my constantly changing preferences. The incoming call alerts that I would have missed earlier due to my always silenced cellphone for the work hours and Church services; where silence is a must. The more than ample drive space for the many apps I discover almost everyday. Not to mention, the peace of mind that comes with a Samsung engineered product designed for people like me. Thanks Samsung!

Rated 5 out of 5 byCh24480588 from Not a current stand alone watchGreat watch but not a stand alone. I have sprint and they don't currently have the software update in there network for stand alone service. Told update should be in 3 -6 months. I'm paying $15 a month for nothing. The watch has to be pair with your phone. My case it is paired with a galaxy 9+. If I go 50 feet away from my phone the watch un-pairs. You won't get calls or text messages to your watch. I got this so when I go jogging I don't have to carry my phone. Check with your service provider and make them call the watch while it's not paired with your phone. The salesman did my whole setup and was told everything is good to go. It wasn't until 3 weeks later that he missed informed me.

Rated 5 out of 5 byhollowab from Lack of Marketing for LTE, No MST, Only 1 design1. Great job promoting the watch but at the event in which I watched live it did not specify that the LTE version was not going to be available on the 24th. I had to waste time trying to figure that out on my own.2. No MST is a big mistake on this phone. As a purchaser of watch for my company we utilize this feature a lot on the S3 frontier. Now we have to come up with a different solution as we build technical debt.3. You should have had at least 3 design options for the 46mm version. A watch is supposed to be functional and fashionable and there is a gap in the ladder.

Rated 5 out of 5 byRaKeyKey from UNLIMITED POTENTIAL. Bixby 1.2.27 is horrible.I do love the watch I'm very happy with it. With that said, Every YouTube/Blog reviewer says the same thing... "Bixby" (S Voice Version 1.2.27 on SM-R805U really is terrible and it absolutely doesn't hold up against Siri, Alexa, or Google assistant. It definitely brings down the quality and value of the watch. It's treated as a JokeSamsung.... step up your game. Hopefully some ground breaking updates will be here soon because the watch is amazing aside from Bixby.definitely has unlimited potential.... Nothing some software updates can't fix.

Rated 5 out of 5 byCapsFan2019 from Great features...butI just purchased my watch and have been wearing it daily. It takes a little getting use to, but function wise, it is great. The issue I have is the ease at which the bezel is scuffed. I brushed it against a wall and assumed the bezel had just scrapped some paint off the wall. Upon closer inspection, I realized the bezel took the brunt of the damage. A second situation, I made several movements that had the bezel again brush against something. There is now a "brushed" wear spot on the bezel. In less than a week, the look of the watch is not as nice. The ease at which this damage happened, makes me feel like the bezel material is "cheap". I would not have expected this to happen this quickly or under the conditions that it did. In both cases, the material involved, were more likely to be damaged than the watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 byEcosystem from Time to upgrade!I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch and it has been everything I expected it to be!

Rated 5 out of 5 bytheseanteam from The perfect extension to my phone...I absolutely love my Galaxy Watch. For those who are in a lot of meetings, it is a very handy and discreet way to get messages during a meeting. It is also a great step counter and heart rate monitor. I also use it to set alarms without having to make a lot of noise. The battery is life is great as it easily goes a full day--even with the always on display. I also like how the watch is customizable. I added a new band and cover.

Rated 5 out of 5 by1Joey1 from A waste of money if you lose it or its stolenI've had it for a while and I was pretty happy, until I got paranoid that it could be stolen or lost. The watch disconnects when my phone leaves a 30 ft radius and so I cant ring it nor can I track it. And i don't know what the GPS tracking part is for if I cant really use it when its 30 ft away from me.
