Rated 5 out of 5 byalpard78b from Awful for having 9 speakers...I bought this along a Samsung Q8 series QLED TV. I'm not sure if I received a bad unit but it keeps losing the settings and no matter what I do it just sounds very flat. Almost no bass perception at all. In contrast, I got the cheapest Bose Solo 5 that only has two speakers and the bass and highs are a LOT better. I would NOT recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 byKlyde52 from Excellent add-on to a TV!Got this because while the Tv's have pretty good sound, it's just not great. This soundbar fills that gap nicely. I have mine setup to work with the optical digital cable, but it is capable of many different connections. This thing rocks!

Rated 5 out of 5 byJimmybags from ReturnedThe Pro's at Samsung recommended this soundbar for my 65" Class NU8000 Premium Smart 4K UHD TV. First, the samsung - HW-MS650 Sound+ Premium Soundbar is big. When it sits in front of the T bar (base of Samsung TV) you need at least 20 inches. Also it blocks the sensor on the remote if you are sitting low. I have to raise the remote above the sound bar to use it. There is a space between the tv and front bar, but the designers at Samsung are did not think. The old model TV sits on 2 side stands and the MS-6500 sits in between. The white power cord is also very noticeable and cannot be hidden. Why white? Very little base. would still need to buy a sub. It might work if I mounted the TV and mounted the soundbar,

Comcast set them up but I am unable to program them to my WiFi, or my Samsung SmartTV connection guide, get decent sound through my tv via streaming or standard tv programs. Tried getting in touch with Samsung Tech Support to come out. They called me once, I tried returning their call to no avail.

Rated 5 out of 5 byCoyotebob from Works fine with some minor issuesI was interested in this product because I didn't want a large subwoofer hoggig up floorspace and I didn't have the need to be blasted out of the room with bass. It seemed to be a good choice. I guess what sound mode you should choose might depend on the dvd or bluray that you are watching because I HAVE noticed a difference between movies. That said, I got pretty tired of playing with different modes for each movie and trying to second guess what I should select, so for the most part I just stick with the smart mode, although there are times when something else might be better.The soundbar is connected to a Sony X900E and while I think the sound for the tv isn't that bad (I'm not a raging audiophile...) the HW-MS650 does improve it. My issues? I hate the time lag before I hear sound upon start up - about 15 seconds. Most annoying is when the sound either quits on its own or when I change a channel, find that I need to adjust the sound level up or down (because it's never consistent across broadcast tv) and the sound level is stuck in place. This happens about once, maybe twice in an evening. In that instance I need to turn the soundbar off and then back on again. That means that I will have the annoying 15 second delay again before I hear anything. I can't recall this happening with dvd/bluray movies, just broadcast tv. When I first purchased the soundbar I hooked it up with the optical cable for a day, then bought a quality hdmi cable and connected it to the HDMI/ARC on the TV. I mentioned this issue to a salesman at Best Buy and he opined that it was most likely an ARC issue. (Whatever that means.) I've only seen a few references to this as an issue for anyone else. It's irritating but I guess I'll live with it. I have a rotten internet connection so if there's a firmware fix... I'd be dead before it ever made it to the soundbar.Overall, I'm satisfied. I didn't want booming bass and I don't have to deal with it. It has improved sound for movies and I've found that when bass is relevant to the movie, I get some without getting blasted around the room. Given that my wife wouldn't tolerate that anyway, I'm fine with it. Voice is generally clear but again that might depend on what you are watching. I was very surprised to find that with some TV programs the sound was vastly improved... Gotham for example. When I tested the unit with music cd's, I found that the Lord of the Rings music cd's to be a good representation of sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 byjj220 from It's very good sound and bassI purchased the soundbar, sub and satellite's. Make sure you update the unit using the Samsung multiroom app for the best experience. I really wanted a setup that provided excellent low bass and this delivers. Even without the sub, the soundbar has respectable bass. The satellite speakers volume can be increased or decreased based on the content. It really sounds excellent. I play spotify through wifi and it is the best quality soundbar system I've heard at this price point.
