Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waste Of Time And MoneySoundbar was stuck in display mode would shut off after 60 seconds. After resets didn't work, I sent it back to Samsung to repair. When I got it back the soundbar stayed on, but then the subwoofer wouldn't connect. After resets and another attempt at calling support I decided to just return it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound and deep clean bassI received this as a Christmas gift from my fiance along with the Samsung rear wireless speakers and am blown away by the sound quality. I have watched several movies and listened to music on it and am more than satisfied. The sound is crystal clear and the sub woofer puts out clean deep bass with absolutely no distortion even at high audio levels. I have owned a few sound bars as well as high end receivers over the years and none have impressed me like this thing has. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It sounds Muddy with no ClarityI just bought a HWN-450 and it sounds Muddy with no Clarity. You are much better off to buy a Sony A/V Receiver and Real Speakers as it will drive you nuts listening to music or movies as you can never get the sound good and clear at any level. Sure they make TV sound better but that is about it. Sad I wasted almost $200 on it...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First SoundbarI was skeptical purchasing a soundbar because of audio delay from soundboard I demo’d at family/friends, but I’m glad I pulled the trigger on this unit. Great sound. Voice is much more clear and crisp vs my tv speakers. Bt is excellent, but always have to manually connect from my iPhone every power cycle. It lacks high end punch. Currently in my living room but going to my game room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great soundbar especially paired with side speakerGreat quality and sound especially when you add the newer model side speakers. I only wish they were a little louder and more control of the center speaker. The blue tooth pairing went smoothly with both the subwoofer and side speakers (9000 model

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Soundbar!I have been wanting a soundbar for some time now and did my research with comparing to other soundbars and read reviews to ensure everything that I had researched was spot on. I came to the conclusion of the HW-N550 and got a great deal on cyber Monday as well. From the moment I unwrapped this product and followed directions it was super easy and synced to my Samsung TV instantly! I have to say after 1 week I absolutely love it and would recommend this device to anyone looking to improve their TV sound experience! I love the bass in the subwoofer and you can hear the thump from outside when turned up! Again I would highly recommend this product to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incompatible with own components?I purchased the hw-n550 from best buy earlier this week. When I first got the unit hooked up to my tv, a new phillips 6000 series, the sound bar and sub woofer worked fine. I had also purchased the add-on surround speakers from best buy. They too worked fine... for a moment. Soon the sound bar and speakers would cut out for 3 seconds, then resume sound for about 5 seconds, and repeat. This was constant between the cable box and dvd, so it wasn't a source issue. I tried restarting the unit, to no avail. I changed out the hdmi cable to see if it was faulty, but the issue persisted. I called tech support, and they suggested disconnecting the power supply to the sound bar for a hard restart. The sound fired back up, so I figured it was an initial pairing issue and that would be that. Well, it was but only for two days. Today the issue of cutting in and out returned. I called tech support and we tried various things none of which corrected the problem. Eventually they said I could ship the sound bar to them for repairs, or I could return it to the store as I had just purchased the system. So I returned the sound bar and sub woofer to Best Buy and exchanged it for another one. I hooked the new unit up as per the included instructions and it worked fine... until I paired it with the rear speakers. The instant the blue led light changed from blinking (pairing) to solid (paired), the cutting in and out returned. I again went through and physically disconnected the power supply on all components, and reconnected them according to the manual. This did not fix the problem. In fact after a couple of reconnects, the entire system cut out indefinitely. At this point I again call tech support, we again try various things, none of which work. They then suggest to connect the tv to the sound bar with an optical cable, and voila, the entire system fires back up. However, I'm now in the position of 1) not knowing if the hdmi sound inputs will work at all with other devices that lack an optical out 2) not knowing if the cutting in and out will return, as it had previously 3) having to send off components for repair if I want an answer to the first question. As there is limited time to return all components to Best Buy, I am looking at returning everything now as it doesn't work as advertised or keeping it and hope the issue doesn't come back down the road. I think I'll go with the first one...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Set-up and Great SoundI recently bought this to help support the sound from my TV. The TV I have I got second had and the speakers don't work very well. This sound bar and subwoofer provide ample sound and great quality. It took next to no time to set this up using the provided cable. I haven't tried the Bluetooth yet but I would imagine it would be easy to use as well. I wish I had purchased this sooner!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sound, but 4K is lost in the sound barI just got this sound bar, I connected my Apple TV 4K to the soundbar HDMI IN port, and then ARC HDMI to ARC in the TV. By using this configuration, the 4K format will get lost inside the soundbar, and I only get Standard HD in the TV.As a workaround, I left the soundbar connected to the ARC port, and then connected the Apple TV to the 2nd HDMI port in the TV. That way I get 4K by connecting the ATV directly to the TV. (This is not an ideal configuration because you might lose quality of the audio inside the TV)
