Rated 5 out of 5 byChasingPowder from seagate harddrive reviewThis Seagate hard drive works well on pretty much any computer, except for my mac. i had some issues with Mac OS so I had to partition the drive to exFat. what ever you do, Do not do a reformat or the problems may tend to persist, and you will still be unable to write to the drive. So just partition it and that will take care of the issue. but in all fairness this is not a drive issue but yet another one of those Mac incompatibility issues.
