They fit my ears which is so much better than any Apple product which I just cannot get to fit me. The totally wireless use of this product makes them so much more unto wear than a wired cousin. Brilliant!

Also issues with bluetooth connection (even if apps installed on the phone are blamed for braking the connection, this issue does not exist with other headphones). On the other hand, volume control added in the last update improved usability significantly.

Sound profile and quality that only Sony can deliver in such a small form factor. Battery life is much better than the first generation. Truly Sony's best yet for only music and nothing else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Sound Quality and Noise CancellationSound quality and noise cancellation are top notch and are even comparable to most over the ear noise cancellation headphones. The biggest problem I had was it keeping the earbuds connected. They would randomly shut off/disconnect while listening to music or watching a movie despite being paired to either Note 10+ and Galaxy Tab S6. There was a recent firmware update which has greatly improved bluetooth connectivity. In addition, the recent firmware update now shows the battery life of the charging case. The only drawback at this point is the lack of any IP ratings for sweat which has prevented me from using them at the gym. Overall, I am giving these earbuds 4 stars based on sound quality, comfort, battery life and noise cancellation. It will be interesting in seeing how the upcoming Bose 700 NC earbuds coming in 2020 will compare to these.

I always wanted some wireless noise-canceling earbuds and nothing came close until the Sony WF-1000XM3. The set-up process is little complex and needs a little work. With Bluetooth and the app, is supposes to assist with the connection process and ability to provide a stable connection. The sound quality is awesome. The app provides an opportunity for you rotate through all kinds of different genres, from pop, R&R, to rap. Combine with noise cancelling feature, it provides an excellent out of the box experience.The design of Sony WF-1000XM3 is nice and with all the custom ear tips, you can get a perfect fit for your ear. I use different size for each ear to get a tight fit. With the good fit, it can cut out ambient sound effectively.The battery life is all day without active noise canceling and with noise canceling you will get about six hours. With the battery charging case, you can three addition charge for up to 32 hours of play time. If you every forgot to charge your battery, a quick 10-minute charge will give you up to 90 minutes of play time for a great workout.Overall, I love this headphone and truly will be by go to headphone. I would recommend Sony WF-1000XM3 to anyone. Only disclaimer, I did receive this headphone at a discounted rate for my review, however, the opinion express in this review is my own opinion.

Best use in crowded places like bus, train or mcdonalds. However, i cannot find a good fit for my ear, although i've tried each and every tip for the ear. it does not stay in my ear no matter how i adjusted it and what tip i used. it will drop out of my ear after 15-20 minutes, even when i sit at a table without much movement.

I still have the WF-SP700N.The WF-1000XM3 do not have lag or connection issues which is awesome especially when I'm watching a video or playing a game during commute. It's a joy and delight that the WF-1000XM3 has long listening duration and a charging case to last much longer than the previous models.

Only slight criticism would be unable to control the volume. Eg i need to set the volume desired when i pair with my iphone to get the same level when i switched to my macbook.

The only 2 things I might want to pick on will be the volume is not loud enough and comfort wearing it for long hours. But I hope that in future, the size of the earbuds and battery cage can be more smaller and larger battery capacity, more option of cases for the battery cage for protection purpose and more color option.

The noise reduction on them is great easy to use. The charging case they come with makes them very portable and easily stored safely. Setting up to work with my phone was very easy that I also set them up with my pad too. Would highly recommend these.

I got these for short flights across Europe and they’re superb. Surprising noise cancelling ability and with one tap on the earpiece you can enable ambient sound to hear any announcements etc. The charging case is great and high quality. I use these with an iPhone XR and no issues at all with the connection. I got them after reading they have better sound and better NC than the Apple Pros. Highly recommended.

Whether small or big. Silicon or Foam. The tips that sony provided isn't working on my ears. And noise isolation requires a good ear tips.

Gorgeous sleek design while still having great battery life. The charging case is very compact and charges the headphones easily. Connecting the headphones through Bluetooth is an easy process as once the case opens with the headphones inside of them then you can connect them. Wireless connectivity is really good on these headphones as I can roam around my house and they don't lose the connection that easily on the same floor. The charging case is on the bulkier side but it does fit inside a pocket so it can be carried around. The additions of extra earpieces were a plus as everyone has a different ear size. The only downfall is the software updates as those can stop at any moment. I blame the app and not the headphone for that. The battery life is excellent than most of the other headphones and at even low battery the sound quality doesn't change. On top of that, the touch controls are easy to use and easy to change as you seem fit through the app. Overall, the sound quality is really good and with the adaptive sound control, it makes it even better. The design of these headphones is really good as it is small and compact. All in all, these headphones are one of the best out there and I hope they continue to produce the same quality in the long run as well.

I noticed quite the difference as I put them on that they truly is blocking all the sound out. I own a couple other wireless earbuds and these has become the #1 choice over the last several weeks. The sound is crisp and clear and I did not experience any hiccup with Bluetooth connectivity. Setup was easy through the app, it didn't take more than a few minutes connect them to my phone. The battery life is great. There has not been one time where I had to stop what I am doing to recharge the earbuds. There are no volume control on the earbuds which can be a bother to adjust from my phone when I am moving around. Hopefully, they would be able to fix this with a software update. Users were able to hear me on phone calls and it didn't sound like I was in a vacuum tunnel. I love the fact that I can finally hear the calls from both earbuds. All my previous earbuds would drop to a single earbud when it came to phone calls. Overall, the Sony WF-1000XM3 are truly wonderful for my everyday entertainment and business needs.

Like many other Bluetooth devices however, they are quirky when you have them paired to different devices and I have had some minor connection issues with iPod and Surface. The connection fixes are quick, just inconvenient. When connected, music, video, movie and other sound is full and rich. I had tried other Bluetooth headphones and like the sound quality of Sony the best. They also fit my ears better than other headphones (earbuds). I have worn them for several hours while flying with no discomfort.

The sound quality is promising. The battery life is better than advertised. The only issue i had so far is some connection issue when I have my phone in my jeans and the sound would distort a little bit. Especially when i have my phone in my right thigh pocket and i turned my head to the left. But once I look straight forward the sound just continues like it would normally. And also some of the eartips provided doesn't really fit my ear canal. So I have to adjust it in my ears every once in a while. But it could also due to the fact that i haven't tried all of the eartips. I recommend everyone that is interested in these to try these on if given the chance.

Sounds very much like my full sized WH-1000XM3.Good ANC. One of the better ones I have tried in a wireless IEM.W-I-D-E headstage.What can be improved?Smaller case size please. Not so convenient to carry current case around.Ability to control volume & have playback controls at the same time.We now have to choose one or the other.Ambient sound control could be better. Did not quite work well for me.Overall?Great job Sony! Cant wait to see what improvements you can bring to the table with the next version!.

Then I bought Comply eartips and hope to fix the issue but no luck. I had a pair of B&O E8 2.0 and been using them for the past 2 years. Comparing the two, I found WF-1000XM3 dont “reach” far inside the ear canal and in my opinion that might be the reason why I could hear a lot of surrounding sounds with or without the ANC turn on.

Everything was good, sound quality, functions etc. But one thing, the seamless connection wasn't that great. there was ever so slightly disconnections, and delays here and there. After using so many earphones, i think that there could be improvements in the area. Another thing is IP rating, i think its important to have a IP rating so you can widen the audience personally i love is earphones and i hope that there could be some water proofing so that i know it wont be spoiled after a few drips of sweat or water.

Although they may appear to look an awkward fit they do actually fit quite well and hold in place. Operating the touch controls on the outside of the earbuds works well once you've got used to them. Sound reproduction is also excellent although i found the setting with ambient noise on to be a little tinny. This could probably be improved by changing the equaliser settings but this seems like a lot of fuss every time. Battery life is very good which should be expected of a new product. What it is like after 6 months....who knows. I like the case design and feel.

On the downside I find them a little awkward to fit into the ear and get them to stay first time. Noice cancelling in my view is good and adaptable for my needs as I like to hear a little of the noise around me. All in all a great product and good value for money.

However, I can certainly say they are noise cancelling - I didn’t hear a 6 and a 7 year old playing or the calls to come and do the washing up. Perfect! I like the range of ear covers too so I could find ones that suited my ears and made them comfortable.

I've been really pleased thus far. The headphones are really comfy to wear and the sound quality is as good as the Bose, maybe even better...There are plenty of nice features in the app and Sony has added more since release. Overall, very pleased!

I have tried the different ear pad sizes, different settings and different locales. The music sound quality was ok but it cancelled NOTHING! The cool magnetic case is the only redeeming quality of these earphones. (Oh yeah, they also fall out super easily - even when just sitting stationary- so be prepared to go searching for them or to bid one of them bye-bye.). Save your money and go with regular earbuds - you will get exactly the same experience. Ok sound quality and no noise cancelling. I expected much better from you, Sony. This product is not as advertised!

I have tried a couple of truly wireless earbuds and Sony WF-1000XM3 blew them out of the water. I love the fact that it is sleek and easy to use. I'm also glad to find that it charges using a C-USB, now I don't have to bring multiple USB cords for my phone and earbuds. The dock is compact and it has strong magnets that keep the earbuds in. This was a problem I used to have a lot because I keep a lot of things in my purse and I used to lose my earbuds in there because the dock pops open. The Sony WF-1000XM3 fit comfortably snug in my ear while doing tasks at work which includes constant moving between 2 floors and taking calls throughout the day. The pack comes with multiple rubber tips so you can pick what feels right for you.These earbuds can run 6 hours of continuous playtime, which runs me through my lunch break. THEN the most fun thing is, I just keep it in the dock for the duration of my lunch break and it gives me another 2-3 hours of playback! NOISE CANCELLING: I am afraid of putting on both my earbuds due to the fear of not hearing cars or people around. I am glad to know that Sony WF-1000XM3 has optimizable noise cancellation.

I have used the Bose QC15 and the 1000XM3 over the ear. The experience was great but did not meet my needs for a compact offering for daily NY commute. My husband had raved about the over the ear offering that he uses and he used to say that he had started to listen to music again on flights, given how great they were with their sound quality. I tried these on my daily commute and enjoyed it on two counts. Using just the noise cancelling mode may help in flights but does not meet the cut on trains. But it does help cut through the ambient noise very effectively. It adds real value when you listen to music on these. The sound is refined, the EQs on the app do provide an array of presets for you to play with. The battery on the noise cancelling does it job as advertised and it does and surpass my needs with its long battery life. The charging case provides the needed juice for the commute back. So overall a big vote for my commuting needs. The silver option that i own is smartly designed and has a smart charging case. The couple of improvements that i would like to see from Sony are both related to reduction in size 1) for the case 2) for the earbuds themselves. But for these, I give them a 5 star overall from an experience

The actual earbuds are also off white, not true white.The set up was very easy and it came with 6 pairs of replacement eartips, ranging from small to large. I have texted them in the gym and it survived.The design and quality is really good and my favorite part is the ambience control, it gives you option to turn it on when you still want to hear the surrounding sound when you are working.My only comment for this product is the single tap function. I wish it could be double tap instead, because whenever I am adjusting my earbuds, it would accidentally turned off or turned ambience sound on, etc. Or if I am tapping too soon every 2 second, it tend to freeze.So far it has been working great with my Galaxy S9 and there were no connection issues, and I wish soon this line will have more color options.

The earbuds connected to my iPad and phone almost instantly. Convenient to charge and store in charging case. The battery lasted a long time. I could leave them in my purse for a day it two and the battery life stayed at a full charge. The case is easy to use for charging the earbuds. The case is light weight, I didn’t even realize they are in my purse. Extra earpiece sizes are included.

The controls are very well thought out and super easy to use, I just wish that there was an option that would allow you to change the volume. The charge is superb and lasts forever, not to mention that it recharges relatively quickly. On a separate note, the modes are very helpful and the quality is incredible! The depth of sound is so good that I found myself discovering new things in songs that I had been listening to for years, whether it be surprise instrumental or vocal snippets of audio. The noise cancellation works flawlessly, surprisingly so even at a relatively low volume. The best part is that these earbuds are made for everyone, since the amount of ear tips that come with the packaging have every size you could ever possibly need and there are two types to choose from (just make sure to space out the wear time because prolonged wear can cause sore ears). Overall, I was extremely impressed with these and would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I love my new Sony Noise Canceling Truly Wireless Earbuds. These are so new and innovative, with a touch I am able to hear the outside world and their conversations. I am able to comfortably listen to my music and engage in conversations with everyone around me. I have even listened in on my daughters talking thinking I am not listening. It would be great if the touch controls on the earphones could also be adjusted to include volume up/down, which would make it much better. I wish the charging case were of better quality, I bought the Beige/Grey-ish coloured one and the casing gets stained too easily. Due to the silicon exterior, it cannot be cleaned off.

For example, I set it such that whenever I’m stationary, noise cancellation is at 100%. And when I start walking, it automatically detects the change in movement, and reduces the NC to 50%.Once, I was using the earphones in the gym with the noise cancellation feature on. There was a fitness class going on and they were blasting upbeat music. I didn’t realised how loud the background music was until I took out the earphones. The NC function is truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

So far I like the product and has surpassed as what i have expected from an earbud. Maybe just to add on the next update it would be great to improve a quicker linking or connectivity to the phone. Because sometimes I need to put the earbuds back to the case and reconnect again. It would take 2-3 minutes before I can use the earbuds

The noise cancelling is great, however it requires you to get a good fit of the headphones in your ear canal, and this isn't a problem with the many included eartips.With similar branding and name as compared to the WH-1000X mk3, I went in expecting equivalent sound quality but was let down when the music was not as crisp as I hoped. These are still the best sounding True Wireless headphones I've ever had and I would pick it any day over the over ear headphones for its convenience and portability.The charging case is a bit large and doesn't fit quite nicely into my pocket and there are no volume controls on the Headphone itself, you must control it from your phone.Other than that, I love this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely impressed with the battery lifetimeI have been using in-ear headphones for a while but these I have to say are outstanding, particularly when it comes to the battery lifetime. They come with a very elegant black/rosegold box, which needs to be fully charged for a good 4 hours at the beginning. The design is nice as well and they are very comfortable to wear, even for longer.The headphones, once charged, last easily for 3-4 hours of extensive usage, I used them at work, during my commute, for calls. Once the in-ears battery is empty you just put them back into the box for a few hours and they recharge in little time, I have been using them like this for almost a week before I had to recharge the box. The sound quality when listening to music is excellent, same for taking audio and video calls, excellent quality for sound and microphone. I have also been using the noise cancelling function on the tube or in the office and have to say it's quite good. Not completely cancelling all the noise off but rather good. Improvements could maybe be made around the ambient sound function, especially when using the headphones outside, the sound of wind impacts a little bit on the music sound. I've also had a few issues sometimes with my Bluetooth connection being interrupted every few seconds, had to turn everything off an on again. They seem to be slightly confused between my phone and computer connection and sometimes it's a bit hard to control. Overall an amazing product in usual awesome Sony quality, which I would totally recommend.

The earbuds are not as comfortable as my Shure ones because I have somewhat small ear channels however I can wear them for a few hours at a time. The one problem is when driving the bluetooth connection frequently drops out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just the ticketBefore I purchased these, I read countless reviews on a multitude of headphones of the truly wireless variety. I almost purchased a pair of the Cambridge Audio ones, as the battery life provides 3hrs more listening than these, they’re also somewhat waterproof, which is a boon in climates such as those here in the UK where you are more likely to encounter rain than sun. However, I opted for the Sonys due to the fact that not only does it provide the companion app to allow for an equaliser, I like a more bass orientated, but then I tweak the mid and high ranges also, something not available on the Cambridge Audios, the Sonys also provide noise cancelling which is actually pretty good when travelling into Birmingham city centre on peasant wagon as it blocks 99% of all noise, only over ear cans or the vacuum of space would offer 100%, (on ear cans would look a bit silly on the shaved brown bean I call my head). I digress, the slight ambient noise is really only an issue if focused on, and I humbly submit that focussing on said ambient noise, then you wouldn’t want headphones. What is also provided within the noise cancellation spectrum is the ability to intentionally allow varying degrees of ambient noise in, with the added ability to focus on voices, which is a nice touch, albeit you need to have the volume fairly low, but you can touch the left earphone which further muted the volume to enable a conversation (just remember to keep your finger on the touchpad or the volume reverts back to normal) All in all, this promised to be a better option and I sincerely believe it to be. If these had let’s say, an extra hour of battery life (7 instead of 6) and some waterproofing, these would be near perfect headphones, as it stands however, these are literally the best on the market today. Enjoy.

I have to reinsert it every few seconds which is not too comfortable. I take it off everytime I go to bathroom because I’m afraid it will off to the toilet which almost happened. I hope the earbuds are anti slip.

I have also had a disconnect or two on very busy trains with a lot of Bluetooth devices about, this could be fault of my phone but I'm doubtful. Overall a joy to use and impressive battery life.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good headphones.. with a couple of issuesWhenever I bought the product I automatically knew if I bought from Sony I was probably going to get a really really good product. These headphones (which I use everyday) have brought a couple of issues. On the phone, I sound like a robot to the people I call (practically scaring them). This issue is not a one time thing either. This happens everytime I call someone or someone calls me. Bluetooth takes awhile to connect to my phone if I already have something playing. Music wise everything is great. The noise-cancelling (in moderation) is pretty good, but the main issues are the calls and bluetooth issues. I would recommend this product if the call issues get fixed since most people buy these for that very purpose.

They sometimes don't connect, and even when they do, the mic doesn't work. When I receive a call, the other end can't hear me, so I fumble with my phone to re-connect, but by the time I do, the other end has hung up. They work fine if I force a connect when I start using them, but that's not how they're intended to work. I really didn't want to get AirPod Pros, but I'll be looking at them now. How unfortunate, I really wanted to love these...

The ease of use, the controls, the app and all features that come with it have made it my favourite purchase of bluetooth earphones to date. They are pricey but absolutely worth, I love bass and loud devices when it comes to music and these pull through for me. Only thing I would say is to have the charging case be wireless for backwards charging on newer devices on phones. Would come in extremely convinient.

Just make sure of what is important to you before deciding to buy.

The sound quality is very good, but that certainly will not cover up the embarrassing amount of audio dropouts. Would NOT recommend purchasing them until Sony pays attention to their products and gets this fixed.

My only issues, which are minor, are: 1. The storge/charging container is oriented upside down when you have the cable plugged in. Not a big deal but a little weird. 2. When the headphones lose connectivity from inactivity from a device, I could only reconnect them but putting them away and taking them back out. Again, not a big deal but I haven't figured out another way of doing it. Other then that these things work amazing!!!

It's also not great that it only connects to 2 devices. They are also inconsistent when pairing. I tried 5 times to get them paired with a Sony TV (having set them up ok in the first insttance). Even though both TV and headphone said 'paired'... no sounds came through. Problem not solved, so a bit stuck right now.

The headphones fit so comfortably on my head/ears, there is absolutely no static or interruption of sound during use, the headphones charge effortlessly, are extremely portable, I cannot say enough positive things about them. I used the fitting that came already on the earphones and I haven’t felt the need to try the other’s out for fit. My only bugbear would be that the right earphone tends to lose connection just for a fraction of a second causing an interruption in the music play, it only does this when outside moving about but this isn’t enough to make me send them back. Overall they sound great, fit well for walking and the battery lasts very well also.

I do have other headphones but after using Sony I have been using Sony headphones every day, Noise-Canceling is the best part while I am working from home. The noise cancellation and ambient sound settings are also great features that can be managed from the headphones app. The app is useful for setting how each earbud will work in terms of controls and activating or deactivating noise cancellation, etc... The range of use prior to experiencing a break in connection from the connected device is pretty lengthy. I can walk from one room into another without losing connection. Charging is pretty fast. I would like to see them last longer from a full charge when on standby. I've noticed if I place one in my ear for calls, I may take one or two calls and within an hour to hour and a half I get an alert to charge it. Longer standby time when not in active use would be great. I wasn't able to connect them to my computer or other devices that didn't have access to the app. Which resulted in the need to use other devices that were more universal connectivity options. Overall, great wireless earphones for sound experience and calls. The charging case maintains a charge for many days which I like and provides the ability to charge one and use another if needed. Recharging the case is also pretty fast which is good when in a crunch. I also found that they can be connected to two devices at once which I love!! I can set them for calls on my phone and for media on my tablet for listening to my audiobooks or music. Great capability!!

The connection to my phone will drop once the call ends which need another connection process every time I take it out from the charging case

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing soundThe Sony WF-1000XM3 Industry Leading Noise Canceling Truly Wireless Earbuds offer amazing sound quality in a cool, rose gold package. The earbuds sound quality was well beyond my expectations although adjusting the sound volume is a little challenging as it cannot adjust via the earbuds. I am still getting comfortable with the functionality and exploring what works best for me. I used these on a cross country flight which was a blessing as there was a screaming toddler sitting directly in front of me. The noise cancellation feature is one of the best I have ever experienced and the loud volume worked well so I found I was able to fall asleep and stay asleep on the flight. The adaptive sound was phenomenal and completely awesome.The set-up of the earbuds was pretty straightforward although it took me a couple of minutes to understand the emoji instruction sheet (lol) however I had everything fully functioning within 5 minutes. I liked the automated set-up functions which made it super simple to complete.The earbuds came with multiple size ear pieces which was helpful to ensure a proper fit. The charging case charges easily and fits nicely in my bag pocket. The battery lasts longer than other comparable products which is a plus. A couple of suggestions would be to add a place for a cord to attach to a belt loop or bag as well as wireless charging options. Overall, I am very happy with the Sony WF-1000XM3 Industry Leading Noise Canceling Truly Wireless Earbuds!

It is really a solid feel of a small headphones. Overall, it gives a really nice sound quality with just the right amount of bass. Connection is excellent. Ability to charge using USB C is definitely a great inclusion. The battery case is so small that you would not feel the weight much. It is actually quite easy to use overall though the app could use a major revamp. It needs a brush up in the UI to make it simpler and easier and faster to access most used functions/features. The ANC is really awesome. It actually works. Used it on my commute to work in public transport and the isolation of the noise and ambient sound were spot on.

Noise cancellign and ambient sound features are very useful if you want to concentrate and or if you want to be safe when walking in the streets. Bass is also solid and just enough. I am also impressed when an update was released and I can configure the headphones if I want to control the volume using the touch sensors. It's good to know that they are making updates to imrpove the product even after the purchase!My only problem is when there are rare moments of disconnections but I guess it's normal in bluetooth headsets.Hope you can improve the touch gestures. I think it's kind of limiting having to choose between ambient sound control and volume control. Why not the ability to have both?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great FeaturesI bought this 3 months ago and I am impressed by the sound quality and functionality of these IEMs. The great sound and the different noise cancelling settings sets this apart from other BT IEMs.The only downside would be some tech issues like a volume difference between the set volume and the volume the IEM plays in the first second or two of playing music. The bluetooth connectivity is also an issue as it can be intermittent both in a crowd and in an open area.

I would love that the earpieces to be waterproof rated in the future for sports and more active use.

The sound quality is almost on par with the other one I have, but the bass definitely is better. The noise cancelling function is good also, except don't put it to adaptive mode via app. This is because when I'm inside the MRT, it will pause my music and so called improve the noise cancelling, then when I alight to a MRT station, it will pause again. It will cause like few seconds of no music avail, so a bit irritating. Just don't use adaptive mode, it is an excellent pair of ear phones. Not so much function as compare to the other one I have, like volume up/down, previous track via finger tapping on device, but still acceptable.

You have a few sizes of silicon which one of them should be fitting for all.I have had a connectivity issues though from times to times especially when I put out the headphones and put them again on my ears. I had to put them in the case and it resumed working again. Also it would be great if Sony issues the new version with sweating-proof feature.

You are suppose to tap on them for noise cancelling and ambient sound, however I can't hear any difference between these two functions. It is not possible to control the sound from the earpiece and the sometimes the sound gets crackly and since having them just over a month ago, I have already had to reset them to actually work. The instructions did not tell how to reset, but I had to google how to do this. The earpiece does not fit in to my ear very well and has fallen out couple of time, I am therefore reluctant use them outdoors or when travelling where I could lose one.

Its Noise Cancelling is really good for something this size. The only issue i have is the battery life. I don't get 6 hours as listed. Probably more around 3.5 right now. I wonder if its because of the charging case. We should have the ability to turn off charging on the case so that if the headset is not drained, don't charge them yet. That way if the headset is 80%, we don't continuously charge it and "spoil" the battery level in the headset? I'm guessing this is the reason why i don't get to use it for a x country flight...

I've also been dealing with random disconnects as well having one earpiece... doesn't matter which since both have done it where they completely stop working and even charging unless I do a hard reset. I've owned different Sony headphones in which I haven't been dissapointed; however with these I felt confident to the point I didn't put warranty on them and now I wish I did.

Originally I bought some from a different well-known specialist manufacturer, thinking they’d be great, but the sound quality was rubbish! I went for these and wish I’d gone with them from the start! The left unit must be removed at all times for the right unit to be able to connect to bluetooth. If the left unit is placed back into the case, the right unit will not be connected to the bluetooth.

I find it difficult to get a good fit in my ears, even after trying the different tips supplied. Wasn’t too impressed with the effectiveness of the noise cancelling function but the overall sound was good. Get occasional drop out which can be irritating. To be fair I am comparing the sound quality and noise cancelling effectiveness to my Bose QC35 headphones so given that they are earbudsI am perhaps being harsh. Good build quality and the battery life is good.

It’s just the connection which sometimes I think is not stable. It actually disconnects with my iphone from time to time and I find it hard to connect it back even if I already placed the headphones to its cradle/case.

There’s breakage in connectivity here and there when there’s sudden WiFi connection and disconnection... wonder if it’s unique to my earphone.

I could not get a good fit on the right side, as well as intermittent disconnections. Connection to my iPhone also takes longer than usual. Says Bluetooth connected but in fact it’s not. I still have to wait another 20-30 seconds before it’s really connected. Maybe have to repair over and over again. Please patch this.

Sony needs to improve on the mic quality for phone calls for outdoor environment, I hope Sony will be able to fix this issue with a Software update soon.Even though I use the latest iPhone, I could have gone for the Airpod Pro but I decided to go with the Sony’s WF-1000XM3 and it’s definitely worth the buy!

(very low probability) to which I need to put the headphone back to the case and take out again to "reactivate".I hope it can be resolved/prevented by future firmware update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Switching headphones to different devicesI bought these before I went on a trip, I opened them up connected them to my phone, sound quality is great, long battery life, cool sleek case. The problem I had was when my phone was low on battery, id disconnected the headphones and try to connect them to my iPad. I no joke, sat there for 30 min trying to get them to connect. Through the app, through regular Bluetooth. On the app, it would say it’s “connecting” but it would say it for 5 plus minutes. And trying to connect through your phones Bluetooth is no better, the headphones wouldn’t pop up even though they’re not connected to anything. What I found out that sometimes helps, is if I forget device, put the headphones back in the charging case, close out of the headphones app and turn off Bluetooth, then turn Bluetooth back on open the app and put the headphones back in, I would sometimes get them to connect.

The left earbud continually stops working (no sound, doesn't charge). I've had to reset these earbuds twice in 3 days of listening to get the left earbud to work as it should. B.) The batteries are flawed. Full charge, and I'm getting a "low battery, please recharge" message after two hours of play. The indicator goes from 100% charged, then skips to 50% charged to 20% charged, no other increments.

The complete customizable EQ is incredible to have. Here are my gripes....Sony, please add volume controls in a firmware update. I also wish you would have given these earbuds an IPX rating but seeing that they are not water resistant, I can see why you didn’t.

Sound quality and noise cancellation is definitely a step forward compared to other options. Fit is fine for me. Battery life is great too. I was able to use it for 10+ hours every time. Quick charge feature is nice too. It uses USB type C charger.I wish it also had aptx support and works with multiple devices at once. It can be paired with multiple devices but cannot be connected to more than one device at once. It also has a mic and call quality is okay (but not great) for my use.Overall, I'd definitely recommend these earbuds to those who are looking for best true wireless experience with noise cancellation and long battery life combined with fast charging experience.If you need earbuds that supports aptx or want it to be connected to more than 1 device at once, you will need to look somewhere else.

I work from home and am constantly on my mobile, Zoom calls and listening to music and these earbuds make everything sound clear. Anytime I receive a call I just double tap on the earpiece to pick up the call. The noise-canceling work well too, my office is right outside the kids playroom and it blocks out their play/TV completely. I'm very happy I made the purchase.

I have owned many different brands of earbuds and even a set of noise canceling earbuds and these by far are the best. First of all, I love the sleek look of the Sony earbuds. The case is not bulky and the earbuds are so comfortable. My last pair would make my ears sore after awhile and these earbuds offered no discomfort to me. I was able to choose what size would work best for me and with a small twist if the earbud I can lock the noise canceling into place. The sound quality is phenomenal and I can listen to movies and music without any outside noise distractions. The stability of the wireless connection is great and I can say I haven’t had any issues with these. I would definitely recommend these to friends and family!

My only issue is the microphones do pick up a lot of wind noise, that noise cancelling does not deal with. However if you switch off adaptive sound and noise cancelling this resolves problem.

Fantastic quality of sound with good intelligent features such as turning off automatically when you take them out and being able to use them individually in either ear. Great fit and they stay in place. The charging case is well designed and the batteries last for ages.

But I found that as soon as there was any connection difficulties on video conferencing on the computer the audio quality was significantly worse than using wired headphones and the sound was all over the place.

The sound is very good for all types of music - I listen from Rock to Classic. Wind Noise reduction works really well when out walking and people tell me the phone call quality is really good. Would have received 5 stars but the noise Cancelling is not excellent. Good enough when you listen to music but quite a lot of background noise is still present if watching TV on a device for example. My Sony overhead phones were much better at this function. All in all an excellent buy though and very pleased.
