Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stick with a winner. My wife bought a similar (Speck) case to cover her first iPad Air several years ago. She liked it and its functionality so much she wanted another to cover her newer (and larger) iPad Air. So I accommodated her. The case is light enough that it does not contribute significantly to the overall weight of the device, yet sturdy enough to live up to its job of protection. And its ability to be positioned at different angles to suit the user is a definite plus. I liked it so much I got one for my iPad. Btw, that older iPad and its case are still functional even after all these years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Very Sturdy I've had three of these cases. I'm not "hard" on my cases, but each one has cracked in the corner and fallen apart after a simple drop on a carpeted floor. I won't be purchasing another...I've learned my lesson. They were okay...until I dropped them. At least it stopped any damage to the iPad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What's with this case??? I have had three of these cases. I do not abuse them, but they keeping breaking where everyone else breaks...up in the corner where the camera lens is located. These should be pulled from your stock and not sold. They are apparently defective.

The old one had been through drops, packed away in soft sided suit cases, and just tossed about, all with no damage to the iPad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not good! I am on my second case. I have the iPad Pro 10.5 2017 edition. I've dropped the iPad a few times...it slipped off of my bed onto a carpeted floor. The same corner keeps cracking--upper right. There is no durability. I'll pass on this one the next time around.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No, I would not buy again, even though it looks great I was very disappointed when my closure clip broke on my unit and i saw how thin the plastic was that was in the elastic band on the cover. it was so thin and broke and rendered the case useless. I called and tried to purchase some sort of replacement part. I was informed they do not sell parts. I will throw it away and avoid Speck products in the future

Since no repair was to be had, I snipped off the broken ends and sanded what remained. Looks OK but now not very protective at that corner. Very poor quality control by Speck.

My Ipad is so old and this is the only brand that still sells cases for it. I AM LOVING IT CAUSE IT'S THE PERFECT ANGLE TO USE MY IPAD WHILE TYPING AND WATCHING SHOWS TOO!

I like them because they stand up nicely and I read from my iPad every morning while drinking coffee. When I travel I can stand it up and watch movies that I have downloaded. They are also very sturdy. I have dropped my iPad more than I'd like to admit and there has never been any damage to my iPad.
