Since my five-year-old was too he is had a spec case on his iPad and I just now had to replace it because my 15-month-old finally chewed its arm off. I now have a tablet for my 15-month-old and I purchased two I guys with no hesitation because I know that they withhold the destructive nature of my boys. I have never had a better tablet case.

I read some reviews that stated that it was hard to charge because of the little arm getting in the way but I decided to purchase anyway. I LOVE this case! My 5 year old daughter has dropped her iPad multiple times and it has protected it very well. It's not hard to charge at all, my 7 year is capable of doing it. I definitely recommend it!

Oh my gosh... 5 years later and I refuse to get any other case. My kids have accidentally thrown their iPads out of a moving vehicle, on to the pavement and it was still in the same condition. I made the mistake of getting a new case for them last year, just because my kids are getting older and want a more sleek look. Well within 2 months they shattered the screen with one drop from 2 feet. I was so upset that I had to pay $140 to fix the screens. So back to the iguy we are and I personally have dropped it & tossed it across the room hoping it would land on the couch (it didn't) instead it falls on our tile floors. But you could never tell! These case can withstand so much! I love them & highly recommend for any child's iPad.

The only reason we are replacing them now is because my youngest pulled the arms off. They do such an awesome protecting their iPads. Our house is mostly tile and they drop them all the time and not a single crack.

He survives in the hands of toddler twin boys every day. iGuy has been thrown out of the car, thrown down the staircase, bitten and at the center of tug of wars and still keeps on protecting their mini 4s. Buying replacement iGuys because one mini 4 was lost and my twins like to have matching iGuys (it's a twin thing). The vivid colors make iGuy easy to find around the house. Would ?? to see iGuy in an orange color.

And the dock and control center is difficult for bigger fingers to bring up from edges. Otherwise like the protection and it's a fun case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Prefer the older model I have a 4-year old version of this unit which held up through many hours of play by my kid. Bought another version for the younger sibling. The current model is a different material - not as soft or pliable as the older one. This feels like cheap plastic compared to a very soft rubber of the older model. Time will tell how it performs.

Had to take it out the iguy case and put in an otter box with front cover so she doesn't cut herself. 2nd incident, my daughter tripped on a rug and the case fell and go and behold the iPad cracks! Again, thank god I had their old otter boxes case and had to put it in there so she doesn't injure herself! I don't have the money to just go and fix the iPad minis so they'll have use them like that. I brought these cases cause of the reviews, but I'm very disappointed with the cases...

In addition, the feet are not flat, so the device/cover falls over at the slightest knock or bump to the table (which happens a lot because this is used by little kids). I am comparing this green one to a red one we purchased a few years ago which did not have either of these two issues.

So it was time to update it. If it wasn't for this we would be going on 4 years with the case. My son loves and we love how it protects the iPad from breaking if it falls or from scratches. Very good case that is replacing an earlier Lime Green case that was used daily by our 2 year old almost up to his 5th birthday. The original took a lot of beating and was finally retired when one of the handles ripped off during a tug of war with his older cousin over watching his cousins choice, Annoying Orange, which we don't allow, or his choice, Teen Titans, which we do allow. Hopefully this case will last until he wants a more grown up case. My one downgrade is that the new case does not balance as easily as the original when you stand it up. The base seems a little narrower than the original. Otherwise its a great case that helped his iPad mini survive being dropped, thrown, wrestled for and about anything a toddler can do to it-which is a lot!

The arms were eventually twisted off after five years. They've dropped their iPads on concrete and they've protected them. I definitely recommend these to everyone I know.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from In Love I now use my iPad mini everyday I love this case it's very secure and holds up well against falls I have a one year old baby named bam-bam and he throws it all over the place and you can't even tell it's ever been dropped I love the handles they make it convient to grab and hold even with one hand also love the feet as they allow the iPad to stand on its on and the material feels like a hard foam which is very comfortable and soothing to the touch. The price is unbeatable and I actually think I'm gonna get another one for my girlfriend. The design is unique and all kids will instantly be attracted to it.
