Rated 5 out of 5 by from Acceptable backpack, could easily be betterMESH SIDE POCKETS are perfect. I use them for water bottles, granola bars, etc. No complaints! MAIN POCKET is nearly perfect. There's plenty of room for my 15" laptop, charger, and whatever books I need to carry. MAIN POCKET ZIPPER would be much better with two sliders so it could be opened/closed at the middle. Also, I really don't like the way the whole front of the backpack flops over when the main pocket is opened. The zipper should not open the front face of the backpack, instead it should split the front/back of the backpack. Top front pocket is very shallow, not big enough to hold sunglasses in semi-soft case. Top front pocket does hold small computer mouse, chapstick, and earbuds. It's adequate. LOWER FRONT POCKET is very poorly constructed, it's my least favorite part about this backpack. There is no padding separating the front pocket from the main pocket. The two pen holders do not feel well constructed, it is a single sheet of the backpack's liner material, affixed with a single row of stitching. There is more horizontal room in the front portion of the backpack that could easily have an additional pen-holder slot. The larger pocket next to the pen holders is the same poor construction, and is a very flimsy pocket. I wish there was a keychain holder loop sewn to the TOP of the lower pocket, so that the stitching affixes it to the more durable feeling, thicker, outer layer of the backpack. I wish the front pocket also had two zipper sliders, so it could be closed in the middle. However, since the zipper's length is shorter for the front pocket than for the main pocket, the single-slider zipper is not as inconvenient. Other than the extremely cheap and flimsy feeling lower front pocket, and the single-slider zipper on the main pocket, this backpack is fine. I'd actually really like it a lot with a thin layer of padding in between the front pocket and main pocket, to help provide more rigidity and separation. #sweepstakes
