No numeric keypad keypress character input.
This item and all other numeric keypads do not work with a Dell XPS 17 9400 laptop. The brand new model laptop is not configured for numerics and plus, minus, multiply and divide character keypress are not active. Thus this numeric keypad should not be purchased for a Dell XPS 17 9400 laptop.

Ok....not as good as on the keyboard
This keypad works ok, but the number keys are not as responsive as the keys on a laptop or keyboard.

No Range
This keypad has very little wireless range\. If you get more than 2 feet away it will not work. Also if you have multiply ones in a confined area they cross over to the other computer. Very poor product

This product is not consistent in operation.
Key function is intermittent. When using the product first thing in
the morning you have to wait until it "wakes up" before keys will work
properly. Sometimes you have to press a key two or three times before
it will work.

Does not work
Wanted to use this for data entry. when up close it works fine. When the keypad is about 2ft away it does not work.

READ THE REVIEWS FIRST!!
Just like everyone has said, this DOES NOT WORK, unless you have a laptop and are working with the receiver practically touching the keypad, you're out of luck. People have said 2-3 feet, I had trouble with it being one foot away! That's right, twelve inches people! It's no good and honestly they should stop selling it.

Should include USB-C adapter

Targus Wireless Numeric Keypad - not what I was expecting
This keypad is very light-weight and has a "cheap" feel. It does not use standard Bluetooth, so using its dongle is mandatory, taking up a USB port. It often loses communication with the computer after it has been off sometimes for only a few hours. The remedy is unplug the dongle and reconnect - it always comes back when that is done. Another annoying trait is that every time a key is pressed "num lock" appears on the screen for a fraction of a second. I have had a number of other Targus products and have always found them good value for money - I cannot say the same about this keypad.

I buy this in order to write special characters using the ascii code in my laptop. But it is just good to write numbers. There is no lock in order to write the special characters while pressing "Alt" on my computers. Money badly spent. But if you are just data entering numbers, I guess it should make your work faster.

Nice accessory for computers w/o numeric keypad
Keypad has keys the same size as the computer, so is easy to use alongside. It is easy to reach the arrow keys on the computer while entering columns of numbers. Need to use the computer touchpad for cursor to use Clear on the on-screen calculator. Initial set up is easy.

It is not as responsive as a wired 10 key. The keys are not as responsive for being a 10key. It will do for a temporary fix but I am still searching for a better solution for a wireless 10key.

Easy numerical entry
I'm glad that I choose to get this wireless numeric keypad. It makes it so easy to punch numbers in, especially like myself have to punch numbers in all day. No more have to reach at the top of keyboard to type numbers in. It's lightweight about a size of a calculator. It can be used with MacBook,PC, or Chromebook. It does have a on and off switch as well a low battery indicator. The back have a little slot that holds the USB receiver.

Great for Office work!
I work as a system administrator, and constantly use the numpad. Having one I can move anywhere on my desk allows me to move it as my work needs and makes my job much easier than having one stuck to the keyboard. It also allows me to use a smaller keyboard and clear up my desk

Love it!
Finally I can enter numbers WITHOUT schlepping my full keyboard along. Works with all the programs I use - even my non-mainstream products. Easy to take along in the laptop case and - the best part - it's wireless. The USB receiver is stored on board the keypad - easy to find.

This is so great! The laptop I use for work does not have a keypad and I have such a hard time using it on the days I need to do data entry with numbers. This is so helpful to have. I like that I can have the number pad when I need it, but can put it away when I don't. It saves space and is packable when I need to go somewhere to work.

Gets the job done
Thanskfully, the instructions are easy to understand and it was easy to get connected to my computer. It works as expected and feel pretty durable. Ive knocked it off my desk a few times and it still functions without any glitches.

Perfect size
Sinks easily to my computer. Easy keys to press. Got it because I prefer having a numeric keypad for typing numbers in on work spreadsheets. Works conveniently. Easy to move around on desk to be in perfect location for usage. I paired with PC and it works great.

This Wireless Numeric Keypad is the perfect addition for my laptop computer! it gives me a lot of versatility when it comes to my work environment. the large and easy to read keys make it so simple to do data entry, and because It's wireless, I can place it just about anywhere I want. Awesome!
I was so excited to use this since my new work laptop no longer had the keypad on it. I haven't used it much so far but I haven't had any problems. It is a little lightweight compared to others I've used in the past so I have to be slightly more careful when using it. Overall, definitely recommend!

Great little numeric keyboard!
The Targus wireless Numeric keyboard has been a life saver for when I’m working with a lot of numbers. I like the fact that the usb receiver is stored in the product and the range seems to be working fine. I also like the smooth design it fits well in my hand.

Wireless number pad
So this was super easy to set up for me. It was a plug in play type set up. I thought it was easy and cool to have numbers added and have option to put in any place I wanted for my own comfort. I only wish they included the $ dollar sign on the number pad for my job.

Perfect addition
This keypad is a perfect addition to my Latitude 5320 - I was used to a side number keypad on the laptop I replaced so was very pleased that I could get a smaller laptop and still have the option - even better that I was able to order the keypad with reward dollars from purchasing my Latitude - WIN WIN !!!
