Teq Robotis Play Early Kits

The Play 700 Ollobot kit from Robotis® is suitable for students from third to fifth grade and offers more than 6 hours of lessons. The total number of lessons is six. The Robotis Play 700 Ollobot introduces kids to basic STEAM concepts by letting them build six different, programmable robots, including Puppy, Racecar, Windmill, Scorpion, Bird and Bear. The beginner robotics kit also includes a motorized gearbox controller, the CM-50, which features IR and sound sensors and a 2-way output. All robots have sensors and a line-tracing, line-avoiding feature, so students can program them with the Scratch and R+ Task apps.

The R+ Design app offers 3D building instructions while the R+ Play700 app allows controlling the robot from a mobile phone. The STEAM education kit requires three AA batteries. It includes a Bluetooth® module that makes it work with Android® and iOS devices. There is also a Bluetooth dongle, available separately, for connection to a PC.
