Does not work with Macs!
I purchased this cable, along with the Tripp Lite Dual Link DVI Active Extender to be able to extend the desktop of my iMac Pro at it's native resolution 2560x1440, which this setup is advertised to handle. Unfortunately the setup won't work when using a Thunderbolt (USB-C) to Dual Link DVI Adapter, meaning it won't work on any current Apple products. I was told this directly from support at Tripp Lite.
