It correctly stops my X10 transceiver from creating line noise to communicate with the other modules. My old surge suppressor stopped working and didn't notice the protection light go out and appreciate the built-in alarm. The alarm is the main reason I chose this over the Isobar8Ultra model and it has a higher property protection guarantee.

I looked at several different units and decided on the Tripp-Lite because they have a good joule rating and 2 sets of Coax Cable jacks. They also have a great insurance protection and a Lifetime warranty and plenty of plugs that are well spaced. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again.

With a very expensive computer hooked up to it I know that I need the best protection and I can feel confident this surge protector will save my equipment should something happen. There are plenty of outlets and they are well spaced as well as 3 large spaces for those pesky wall warts. I like how Tripp Lite replaces the surge protector for free for basically any reason as most other companies selling surge protectors don't do that or they require you to jump through hoops to get a replacement, some say if the protector fails or is used up you have to buy a new one. There is also a very good equipment guarantee on this protector and it is rated at a high joules rating. I feel this is a surge protector I can trust with even my most expensive equipment and I won't have to worry about buying another one for a long time as I will be covered no matter what happens.

I trust the brand and found it very convenient. This unit protects your coaxial connections as well as telephone lines. It also allows one to plug in big transformers that are normally difficult to plug into conventional surge protectors

My old power strip/surge protector could not handle the power being drawn through it and would just shut down. Furthermore, it was not even near the load-bearing limit for that circuit! Now I have replaced that 90-Pound Weakling of a Surge Protector with the TLP810SAT and I feel secure that it can handle anything but the very worst of surges. We had a power surge and did not have the coax connections. Our HDTV was destroyed because our old surge suppressor did not have the coax protection and the surge came in through the cable connection. The other nice feature is that there are plenty of well spaced plugs.
