Rated 5 out of 5 by from Printer HeadI love the printer with the dual trays and great colors, but I have had to replace my previous Epson, WF-7110, 4 times prior to being out of warranty. Customer Service was great each time and received a new replacement. But now it is out of warranty and had to purchase a new one. This time the 7210. I love the dual tray and back feed for 13x19 prints that I make. I just wish the print head was replaceable and not having to trash the entire printer for bad print heads.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer after initial setupI received this printer via FedEx a few days ago. I'm not entirely sure if it was due to a packaging issue or a delivery issue, however the CD and instruction packet were laying outside of the box. Good thing they both showed up together! Other than that, there's not really much to unpacking this printer and getting it ready for installation. Most of the printers that I've used previously have been plug and play type printers. This one does not fall into that category. As part of installation, one of the first things it tries to do is connect to your WiFi network. Although you can also set it up for hardwired, I didn't want to do that. To get the printer on the WiFi network , you'll either need to enter your WiFi SSID and password on a tiny LCD screen with no keyboard or temporarily connect the printer via USB to your computer. Luckily I found the correct type of USB cable at home because one is not supplied for you.The printer will automatically try to set itself up on the same network as your computer. My computer was connected to a 5g WiFi network, and I got a pop up message saying that this type of network was not supported and may permanently disable the WiFi on the printer. After several attempts, I was able to back out of this and start over on a different WiFi network. After the printer was successfully installed on the network, it automatically wanted to do a firmware update. This was a pleasant surprise, and it worked fine. After the update was completed, it offered a message to complete Epson Connect and Google Could setup. These are both neat features. Epson Connect lets you send print jobs direct to the printer via email, and Google Cloud lets you print from Chromebooks. Although this model printer is not currently listed as Google Cloud enabled, it is working appropriately. As an aside, I work in IT. I've never had to spend so much time setting up a printer before. However, this Epson WorkForce printer truly is a workhorse! After having used the printer for a few days, I can say it does do a great job. Color prints are crisp and bright. Black printing is quick and flawless. If you are willing to put the effort into installing this printer, you'll be happy with the end results. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Print QualityI've only had this Epson WorkForce WF-7210 for a few days but so far this is an impressive large format printer that produces very nice copy. I have always had HP printers but this printer has changed my mind. I work my printers hard. Between printing work documents and photographs, my printer works had. I print legal size contracts and many presentations during the week. When I get a chance, I will print pictures that I have taken over the course of the week during job inspections. This printer handled it all with ease, and best of all with speed. The print was clear and the color on the photos were crisp. This is my first wide format printer and I am amazed at how well the photos printed without borders. The photos were great. The printer has double paper trays which is nice because I can load the paper up and not worry about running out of paper while printing my presentations. The printer can be connected via an ethernet connection or wi-fi. This is great because I can have the printer in one room and print from another. This set up works well since the printer is on the large side and I needed to find a place to put it. What I also like is that I can print directly from my iphone. It is quick and easy and I am able to print pictures and emails. Setting up the printer was easy. The included directions were easy to follow and I was able to set up the printer fairly quickly. This is definitely a printer that I am planning on using for a longtime. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer but not an all in one. This is a review of Epson’s WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer, capable of printing on paper up to 13 x 19 inches. The printer is considerably larger than an average multifunction printer, but still manageable in normal spaces. The unit has two paper trays, as well as a single sheet paper feeder in the rear. All 3 feed locations can hold paper up to 13 x 19 inches. Both trays can be extended out the front to hold longer paper. Double sides printing is capable from both trays as well. The printer DOES NOT support copying, scanning or faxing as the name suggests. The printer’s box includes the printer, setup instructions, and a CD with drivers. I found set up to be easy and quick. After manually adding the printer to my wireless network using the device’s LCD screen, I confirmed the unit was on the network. Then I test printed a document from my phone. The capability to wirelessly print from my phone is a huge plus for me, especially with larger print capabilities. This saves me unnecessary trips to the office to use the large format printer there. This printer does a great job on photos as well. My overall impression of this printer is really good for the price. The print quality was excellent using the normal paper settings and the operation was quiet. In summary, I like the way this printer performs. Once set up, it prints well, quickly, and quietly. It is ideal for small businesses and home offices especially since it doesn’t have to be tethered to the computer. I have mine setup in another room for convenience. The only thing I think that’s missing are scanner and copying capabilities and if you rely on your current printer for these options you will need to keep using it as well, otherwise this printer does a really good job. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for every task as a graphic designerWell first let me start by saying that this printer really surprised me from all angles. I would like to state that I am a graphic designer and having a printer that I can trust to produce quality prints is very important to me. THIS printer can do all of what I need and more, it feels like as I grow as an artist, I will grow into this printer and all of the functions and options it has available to me. The setup was as simple as any other small printer and, oh boy does it print fast. I was amazed at how it basically zoomed through the prints I had queued and the quality didn't suffer any. Some things that I would like to try in the future would be doing larger prints because I now have the option to print A3 size designs or posters in my own home. This is a huge plus for me and gives me more options and available space to work with when working in Photoshop/illustrator. The only think I really ran into while printing was a little loss of detail in a halftone design that (I think it was an issue on my side when designing) that caused the print to come out wrong. And one other really nice thing that already came set up with the printer is when you install all the software, it already comes with an email address so you can start sending documents to the printer through email immediately without setting that up! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent printerI got this printer and we set it up last week. It is amazing! The set up was easy, no problem. Instructions were very easy to understand too. I like the look of it and how fast it is. Very much worth the price if you do lots of printing. My favorite parts are how easy it was to set up to the wireless-so simple, and that it holds a lot of paper so you aren't having to fill it all the time. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick printing in multiple formatsEpson WF-7210 printer has been a positive experience so far. Easy to set up and get on the network, took about 20 minutes, of which most was priming the ink cartridges, updating firmware, etc. From there, everything was guided well. Good looking printer, and is able to handle larger paper, which is great for work usage. Downloading the iPhone app also allows you to print pictures directly from your phone, which is a great feature. App is easy to use and printer had no problems syncing up and going right to work printing pictures.Doesn't have a scanner, which was a disappointment in a printer advertised as "all in one", but that's apparently the tradeoff for the larger format printing and the two large capacity paper trays. The two trays are needed so you can have regular 8.5x11 and 11x17 (or your choice) both loaded up and ready to print. Only other disappointment is where the finished print jobs come out; they come out the front of the printer instead of the top. There is a slide out tray to catch them, but it's not very sturdy and would be prone to breakage when extended; print jobs should have come out the top and stayed on top of the printer body. These two items are the only things keeping this from getting a 5* review. Still fully earns the 4* for a solid print job, however, and if speed and quality jobs are the priority, this is a good choice. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it!My first impression was. OMG its huge. It is definitely not for small spaces! Then I opened the box and began to put it on the desk. The instructions could use a little work, I will be honest. But overall it was fairly quick to assemble. The set up on the other hand was not as easy. Trying to select the type of paper and size of paper got the better of me and I had to ask for my daughter to come help me complete the task.I began working with this printer the next morning. I had to print a floor plan and layout. It was both easy, and impressive. The colors are vibrant and well defined. It does its tasks in an average amount of time and does so relatively quietly. I have not liked the smell of a lot of printer inks in the past and this one has hardly any smell at all. I especially like the quality of the print duplication. It is , by far, the best printer I have had at that task. The photo prints are very clear and have well defined edges. I would recommend this printer to anyone who has a good deal of space to place it. If you have a small area for a printer, its not for you and that's a shame! “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great candidate for printing on large format paperThis is a review of Epson’s WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer, which can print on paper up to 13 x 19 inches. The printer is about twice the size of an average multifunction printer, which makes sense considering the large paper the machine can use. The unit has two paper trays, called “cassettes” as well as a single sheet paper feeder in the rear. All three paper locations can hold paper up to 13 x 19 inches. Both cassettes can be extended out the front to hold paper longer than about 12 inches. For the cassettes, you must define paper dimensions and type (e.g., normal, glossy, matte, etc.) per tray. Each cassette holds about 250 sheets of plain paper and the printer can auto-duplex when paper is fed from either of the cassettes. Auto-duplexing is not supported when paper is fed from the rear feeder. Despite its label as an All-in-One, the 7210 has no glass platen; so does not support copying, scanning, or faxing. The printer’s box includes the printer, setup instructions, and a CD with drivers. Setup is straightforward, but I ran into a problem with the included driver. After manually adding the printer to my wireless network using the device’s LCD screen, I confirmed the unit was on the network. Then I attempted to install its driver from the included CD. The software found the printer on the network and then claimed it could not proceed because the printer could not be found. Huh? The solution is easy… go to Epson’s support site at epson.com/support, then download and install the latest driver. This issue is why I gave Product Quality 4 stars instead of 5. Another tip would be to download the User Guide from Epson’s support site – I refer to it often to learn nuances about the printer’s capabilities. My overall impression of this printer is good. Print quality was excellent using the normal paper settings and operation was relatively quiet. The drive can auto detect best cassette / tray for normal use, but remember to specify you’ll be using the rear feed if that is the case. When printing photos, I observed that paper matters. Comparing the same photo printed on HP glossy paper verses same using Epson glossy paper, the latter is sharper with wider contrast and color range. The MF-7210 supports printing text in draft mode, in which the text is fairly light so that black text looks gray. Finally, AirPrint works flawlessly from iOS devices. In summary, I like this printer. Once set up; it prints well, quickly, and quietly. It appears to be targeted at small office / home office and would also work fine for a home environment as long as you can allocate the space. I wish it had a large format scanner and support for files on a USB stick, too, but you can’t have everything for such a reasonable price. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7210 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.
