I had a 6015 and replaced it with this one. very similar but I really like the 6027 better, the touch screen is a big improvement. Now the speed of both is not anything to brag about., But I just use it at home since I am retired. Hard to go wrong when buying this model. The shipping was really fast, the set up was easy, But I did have my computer guru (which works for the local Xerox area) come over Just to make sure I did it right..

Still disappointed that the glass bed is not designed for legal documents and that I have not figure out how to email directly from device. Also for some reason Various users have gotten disconnected from network printing options...but hoping that has been taken care of. I would recommend this to maybe a house hold, but still not convinced it is what real estate office needs. I don't think that it prints black and white as fast at the stats claim. Maybe it is just more of a networking thing than it is the printer itself. It does scan really good though and the printing of properties comes out really good. I have only had it 3 weeks and this week I had to change the black cartridge already, but I expected that....

After about 30,000 copies on my old one, I found the best thing to do is just replace it, and that's what I did with this new one. I did not have the warranty on the old one, and the unit was about three years old. Cost-effective was to replace it than to have a repair guy look at it. I know there were been parts so when you look at it was better just to get a new one. In my case because we do a lot of faxing the first machine more than paid for itself, we replaced it with the same unit. My recommendation is if you're looking for a machine that is dependable, and you need one with faxing, color copies, this is a machine for you. I would recommend it to anybody and I recommend it to you. The only other thing that I would recommend is it comes with a one-year warranty. Get the extended warranty it's not that expensive.
