I didn’t see the downside of the privacy feature until I tried to show other folks pictures. It was more of a problem when trying to take photos with the phone over your head. A warning about this would have saved me $45.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still haven’t received it I ordered it March 5th. The original estimated date of arrival was March 15, which I thought was a very long time. Then it changed to March 22, now it has updated to March 25, who knows when I will actually receive this. I think this is ridiculous!

It is easy to take on and off. My phone usually slips between the seats, or is in my briefcase, but now I just put it on the stand. Easy, practical, and my phone is always charged. I know what I am buying friends for xmas.

And, once placed in the vent, due to the shape of the venting on my RAV4, it was not possible to adjust the vent position. Furthermore, there is a curvature in the vents that the flat mounting surface did not do a good job of making contact.

This model took a little doing to figure out how to get it to fit securely but once we got it set up it held and so far so good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works without the arm In my car, it shakes too much when it has the arm attached, but to be fair I have an iPhone plus which is the larger size. I'm glad that this provides the option to remove the arm, because that one works pretty well and my phone hasn't fallen once.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works on vents that other mounts wont First mount I’ve found that will work on the round vents that spin. The Ford 12 passenger van has these circulating vents that spin 360 degrees. This mount will lock in and keep my phone stationary.

In my car, the usual vent mount products do not work, but this one did because of a clever gripping claw. Good also that it was possible to remove the arm which I did not need. The only downside is that the magnetic charging plate is white in colour. It does not match the dashboard in black. On the other hand, every time I get in the car I attach my black iPhone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not as described in the description The minimum length on the attachment is not 8mm as it states. My vent is 10 mm and it was too big. I had to add padding to get it to attach. It still looks like I'm having a seizure on my video calls and Marco Polos because it isn't totally stable. It charges really slowly! See the pics for the actual smallest and largest the clip retracts/extends. Not recommended for my small car. I'll try it in the truck and see how it goes there.
