Avocent Universal Management Gateway Course - lectures and labs

This course combines lectures, discussions, demonstrations and hands-on lab exercises on the Vertiv Avocent Universal Management Gateway appliance. Upon successful completion of this course the learner will be able to describe the main characteristics and capabilities of the product, perform the initial appliance configuration, understand the different management options, manage serial consoles, power devices, service processors and KVM targets, launch sessions from the appliance, create users, user groups and target groups, assign access rights, manage environmental sensors and manage events, alerts and notifications.
