Monitoring (7x24x365) the Customer’s specified Key Network Devices (designated workstations, printers, servers, firewalls, routers and switches) at Service Provider’s Network Operations Center (NOC). Upon the detection of any errors, anomalies, or other problems, Service Provider will alert the Customer to recommend the best course of action to minimize business impact.
The network monitoring technology at the core of the Remote Monitoring Program collects and stores valuable network data and device metrics that are provided to the Customer on a monthly basis. This information is useful in planning network or software upgrades and will provide transparency into and accountability of the services being delivered to the Customer.

Security Manager: Service Provider will deliver an integrated anti-virus, anti-spam, anti-malware, personal firewall and host intrusion protection to protect critical and sensitive information.
Features include: Intrusion protection, proactive vulnerability detection, correction and reporting, rule based system behavior blocking, application control, WildList proactive detection, Rootkit detection and Exchange email protection.

Device Maintenance: Service Provider will apply basic automated maintenance and self-healing solutions to Customer’s servers, workstations, and network devices. Upon detecting any issues that arise that cannot be resolved through self-healing scripts, Service Provider will alert the Customer and recommend the best course of action to minimize business impact.

Patch Management: Service Provider will monitor patch levels on the Customer’s IT infrastructure to ensure desktops, servers, and other core network devices are kept up-to-date and alert the Customer of any other necessary action. Service Provider shall furnish the Customer with Patch Management reports on a monthly basis.

Application Monitoring: Service Provider will monitor Customer’s email availability, Outlook web access, SQL Database, and Terminal Services. Upon the detection of errors, anomalies, or other problems, Customer will be notified and Service Provider will recommend the best course of action to minimize business impact. Service does not include monitoring of purchased applications, which shall be the responsibility of the Customer unless special arrangements are made in advance between the Customer and Service Provider.

License Compliance Report: Service Provider will provide the Customer information regarding its compliance with application licensing requirements and will identify a course of action to bring the Customer into compliance through the purchase of additional licenses and/or the removal of certain software from certain workstations or servers. Customer is responsible for licensing fees.

Backup Monitoring: Service Provider will monitor the Customer’s on-site backup system for successes, errors, and failures to ensure that daily online backups occur as scheduled. Upon detecting any errors, anomalies, or other problems, Service Provider will alert the Customer and recommend the best course of action to minimize business impact.
