Know your gear
Our network technicians will:
• Verify the switch has been powered down
• Disconnect attached cables and accessories
• Remove the switch from the existing mount such as wall mount, or rack mount
• Neatly dress the associated cables
• Pack the switch and accessories in customer supplied packaging
• Assist customer provided carrier in loading, or relocate the router within the same street address
• Unpack the switch
• Install mounting brackets, if needed
• Connect your switch to pre-existing AC power supply or UPS, and neatly dress the cable
• Attach and dress the cables you provide to your existing network equipment
• Verify installation by testing network connectivity
• Once the installation is completed, we will remove packing materials to an on-site dumpster or other trash receptacle
Assumptions:
• Not responsible for customer data loss
• Customer will be called to schedule within 24 hours (excluding weekends) of receiving notification
• Work will be scheduled within 72 hours of receiving equipment
• All work will be performed under a single site visit
• All work during regular business hours
• Customer responsible for all data/configuration backup
• Work orders will be completed with a project sign-off form
• Should work be required that is not included in the scope, a work addendum will be created
• Customer will provide the technician with workspace, access to network, user names and passwords and configurations required to perform the work
• Configuration to Customer Requirements other than the basic configuration will be charged at an hourly rate
