CDW Threat Check

This scope of engagement (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described
herein (“Seller” or “Provider”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract
upon Customer’s submission of the separate, digitally signed Scope of Engagement Authorization Form.
SERVICES SUMMARY
Seller will perform the following:
Remote CDW Threat Check Services within Customer’s network.
PROJECT SCOPE
SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
 Configuring the CDW Threat Check Appliance™ (loaned to Customer during the service)
 Tuning and analyzing security software within the CDW Threat Check Appliance
 Observing traffic that crosses the network perimeter, inbound or outbound
 Analyzing such traffic via Symantec Web Gateway software and other security tools
 Creating a report, risk analysis, and recommendations document based on the logs generated by the CDW Threat
Check Appliance
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
 Configuring a network SPAN port or network TAP
 Assigning IP Address and configuring network to allow the CDW Threat Check Appliance management port to
communicate to Seller
 Participating (Customer’s technical staff) in the CDW Threat Check kickoff call
 Participating (Customer leaders) in the CDW Threat Check closeout and report delivery call
 Properly repackaging in its original container and returning to Seller the CDW Threat Check Appliance within seven
(7) days after completion of the Services or, in the event that it fails to do so, paying within thirty (30) days after
Customer's receipt of the applicable invoice from Seller, the amount of one thousand U.S. dollars ($1,000)
OUT OF SCOPE
 Troubleshooting, configuring, or analyzing any customer device or system
 Training or enabling Customer personnel
 Placing any CDW Threat Check Appliance security software into production in Customer's network
 Remediating any security issue uncovered by the CDW Threat Check service
 Performing any other Services not specified herein.
ITEM(S) PROVIDED
1. CDW Threat Check Appliance, which remains Seller property and is loaned during performance of the CDW Threat
Check.
2. CDW Threat Check closeout report
SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order.
CUSTOMER LOCATIONS
Seller will provide Services remotely to benefit a mutually agreed U.S. location.
PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
1. Customer is responsible for providing all physical and network access, properly functioning hardware and software,
and qualified personnel necessary for Seller’s performance of the Services.
2. Customer is responsible for all data, including back-up.
3. Customer will provide reasonable cooperation with, and support of, Seller’s scheduling and performance.
4. All Services will be performed against a single network SPAN or TAP configured at a single Internet egress point.
5. All Services will be performed during Seller’s normal business hours.
6. All Services and items are provided “as is” without warranty.

This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects”, accessed via the
“Terms and Conditions” link on Seller’s website (the “Agreement”), which are incorporated herein.
