The Check Point security gateway is ideal for mid-size operations and supports multiple software blade performance. It offers remote access and site-to-site communications while protecting against threats with extensible software blade architecture. The security gateway has 11Gbps of firewall throughput and 6Gbps of IPS throughout. It has up to 16 interfaces of 10/100/100 Base-T ports. For fiber ports, it offers four 1GbE or two 10GbE. The device also has a network card slot and the option to upgrade to up to 4GB RAM.
