When floor space is limited in the telecommunications room (TR), the Standard Swing Gate Wall Rack provides up to 24 possible equipment storage solutions, including 25" deep models to support your largest equipment.
CPI's Standard Swing Gate Wall Rack will support rack-mount equipment. The swing gate features 3" deep equipment mounting channels (as in CPI's floor mounted relay style racks). The equipment mounting channels are punched front and rear with the EIA-310-D Universal hole pattern. Installation of equipment or shelves is quick and easy as the mounting holes have roll formed threads and each rack includes 50 each #12-24 equipment mounting screws. Additionally, the Standard Swing Gate Wall Rack is UL Listed as an "ITT Equipment Rack", signifying that Underwriters Laboratories Inc. has certified that the racks will support 100 pounds of equipment in both the gate open and closed positions.
Wall mounting equipment doesn't mean limited access when servicing equipment. CPI's Standard Swing Gate Wall Rack pivots open to the right or left to provide easy access to the rear of equipment. An innovative, patent-pending corner design uses simple spring-loaded pins to provide both pivot point and latch closure for the swing gate. No tools - just two hands - are required to operate the swing gate, and full closure is noted by an audible "click". Additionally, the gate stops at 90° in the open position to provide resistance when punching down cables on the rear of rack mounted patch panels.
