Rated 5 out of 5 by from I wanted a small, high quality, red camera.I looked at all the cameras I could find in this price range and then let my daughter pick one of the three I liked best for my Christmas present. She chose this one, in part because red is one of my favorite colors. I've enjoyed the camera, although ideally a camera with these features would come in a lighter package, but technology at this price level isn't there, yet.The pics are great and I like the video that comes with audio. Transferring the pics to my Pictures folder on my laptop isn't a piece of cake. I don't like using the software the various camera companies try to get you to use. I just want simple. A place to store them that I'm familiar with. I don't edit my pics. That said, I am now using this cam to take videos for my YouTube channel, The Outlaw Rocker. I haven't edited any of them, yet, so we'll see how this goes. But, the video quality is good enough for this use.For me, this cam has too many features that I won't ever use, because I frankly don't have the patience to learn. The manual is too lengthy and hard to read. Better and simpler graphics on how to use each feature. Larger type font. And simple explanations of the benefits of using the feature. People can google more in depth usage. These cameras aren't meant for pros using DSLRs. These point-n-shoots should be simple to operate, because those buying them are wanting that. If they want more, they'll get the DSLR.IMHO.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sharp, clear picturesI bought this camera over two years ago. It's light and easily carried for that unexpected picture. The pictures are sharp and clear. Recently the camera gave me lens errors and shuts down. I am debating on getting another Power Shot. I really love this camera but cannot have it shut down for lens errors. Very professional looking photos from this little camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great zoom for a pocket-size cameraIt's awesome to have a 600mm in a pocket-size camera, but equally very disappointing that it has no viewfinder. At such focal length, it's quite a challenge without a viewfinder, and that is a deal-breaker for sure.Sadly disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very exciting camera ...... for what is termed "easy to use." This camera has some really neat features and the quality of the photos is beyond what I expected. I take a lot of photos of deer & birds & a few squirrels here & there and have been pleasantly surprised at the detail. As I said, VERY exciting camera!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Purchased and Very ImpressedI just purchased this and was wondering how it would preform. I got my chance with a live action nature shot of a red fox chasing down and killing a squirrel. The photos are from about 50-60 yards away looking out through a closed window in my house with no tripod. I have attached an unzoomed and two zoomed photos. I am very impressed with the anti-shake and clarity of this camera. I also had to shrink down the size of the photos to attach to this review. Much better with full resolution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Canon PS 620 SHThe PS in Canon SX620 HS should stand for something other than power shot. The manual is useless, the camera itself overcomplicated and it doesn't even come with a cord to upload your pictures to a PC.
