Great Hardware - Terrible support
I have been alternating between Dell and Asus laptops (2 of each) and neither are perfect. I went a little overboard and purchased an XPS 15 with 16 GB of RAM and the enhanced touch screen. The laptop is rock solid but I was charged for Microsoft Office 3 times and have been going back and forth with support - they usually don't even reply until a week later as a result I have multiple threads going with multiple support people who are obviously feeding me scripted replies. I have received credit for 1 extra office charge but I still have not received credit for the second. Incredibly frustrating. We use Dell exclusively at work (4 different laptops, 3 different desktops) and I have a home built desktop that I built with an Asus mother board. With technology, nothing is perfect - I am a fairly demanding customer and buy a new laptop every 2 or 3 years, I am not a gamer but I do a significant amount of programming so I want reliable performance.

Works pretty well
So this was advertised as being for the precision 5520 I think which is the old one and I bought this to house my new 5530. I assumed they were close in size and they are but I think the new 5530 may be slightly bigger than the older 5520. It fits snug and the magnetic flaps fold over to close but don’t always stay closed because of the slightly larger sized computer. Great product otherwise. Nice material and well made. Good for when you put your laptop in a backpack but don’t want a thick case that takes up space and don’t want things to scratch it

Sorry I spent the money on it.
It's a beautiful, well-constructed sleeve, but it's too much money for what it is. I would have preferred a more functional sleeve/case that could carry my power supply, mouse and adapter courds.

It will protect from minor scrapes and bumps but that is all
It is a tight fitting slim sleeve case that feels nice (like a neoprene). I wanted something smaller than a full laptop carrying bag. But this sleeve has no pockets for power unit or any other accessories. An outside pocket would have made this perfect.

Doesn't Fit
The Dell Premiere Sleeve (M does not fit my xps15. While the computer is quite thin for a 15" laptop, it is still too thick for the sleeve and forces the front and back of the sleeve to bow out, making it impossible for the weak magnets to keep the top flaps closed. Very disappointing.

I've had it for only a few months now and the corners are wearing out to where there are small holes. I like the style and compact look, and it is a great sleeve for the laptop, but I am concerned about longevity as there are already some wear and tear issues.

Key aspects not as expected.
While the overall thickness of materials is as I expected, the magnetic closure is barely strong enough to keep it closed even without any external pressure, and the bottom of the sleeve does not expand like the sides do to account for the thickness of the laptop so instead the sleeve is extra wide to allow the bottom to come to come to a point and making this not as slim as I wanted.

Security from bumps and spills.
I bought this computer sleeve for my new Dell 15" XP 9570 computer just after I received my computer. When not in use I always place my computer in the sleeve and then place the sleeve in my carrying case for protection. I am very glad I purchased the sleeve because I know my computer is secure from damage.

Why leave the corners open?
I'd prefer it covered the laptop completely, rather than leaving exposed corners. I worry about dust, debris, or water getting in more easily in my bag than it would for a fully-enclosing sleeve.

Nice sleeve for the laptop. Protects again minor bumps and bangs as well as dirt and grime. Not heavy enough for drop protection. Also, a little tight (may stretch over time) that the two end flaps don't close completely.

Convenient
I carry my laptop in my sleeve, inside my computer bag. But sometimes I don’t need to carry the whole bag, and that’s where this sleeve comes in handy. If I’m in my hotel room, and I want to do some work outside of my room, I take the laptop in the sleeve down to the hotels lobby.

Pretty but not very functional
While it’s attractive, I don’t believe that the sleeve provides much protection. The plastic insert may protect one side but the sleeve itself seems to be thin and brittle. It’s difficult to slide an XPS15 into the sleeve. If you lift the sleeve out the wrong way, the laptop will slide out

Premier? More like Super Premium!
I got the Dell Premier Sleeve for my XPS 15 (9575 2-in-1. I wasn't really expecting a whole lot, I mostly just wanted to make sure that I was able to loosely protect my new laptop while transporting in my backpack. The Premier Sleeve is a whole lot better than I was anticipating; in fact, I'd say it's easily the best laptop sleeve I've ever owned. It's thick without being too weighty and surprisingly easy to grip due to the rubberized material on the exterior. Even better, the open end has magnetic flaps that keep my laptop amazingly secure inside. Very, very impressed - feels like a premium product.

Not Great, But OK.
As long as you understand that this is only a sleeve and not a protective case, you shouldn't be disappointed. Doesn't really do much to protect your laptop, but does give it a nice premium look and feel. At first, the XPS 15 didn't really fit and the magnetic tabs wouldn't securely close. I could hold the sleeve upside down and the laptop would slide out. However, after a few minutes, it seems like the material "wore in" and I was able to fit my laptop in snuggly and close the magnetic tabs. It did come with an oddly worded Chinese instruction tag attached. The tag directed me to possibly shady Chinese website to enter in some sort of "security code". A Chinese security code for a laptop sleeve??? Really? Overall, I'm not disappointed, but I'm not wowed either. It's ok.

Nice material, but bad design.
This is a very nice sleeve, but the magnetic top and the size of the case is very unfortunate. The laptop fits so snug that the magnetic flaps at the top barely stay in place. The slightest movement and they pop open, so expect the magnetic flaps to open up every time you go to put the sleeve in any type of bag. Due to the flaps not staying up I decided to return it.

Great hardware. Moving software and Data is always the problem.
This is my fourth dell computer. My third Dell portable. My second XPS. All the Dell Hardware is great.
The headaches are always caused by the moving of the software and data from the old computer to the new one. That’s why I purchase high end Dells and keep them forever like last one was new in 2007. I pull my hair out trying to move the programs and data.
I purchase the highest quality tech support Dell offers. I have premium plus support through 2022. It might take that long to complete the transfer. This helps but I still spent all day with them trying to move my outlook file and syncing my iPhone contacts to my XPS 15 -9560. This only moved my email but not my favorites file. My iPhone still will not sync the contacts with the Dell computer. I will try using support again when I have a free day to try it.
I would gladly pay for onsite visits to transfer and setup the new computer but I do not see it being offered. Dell is to provide third party software that addressed part of the problem but not now as far as I know.

Fit could be better.
The sleeve appears to be well made but its fit is far from optimal. Wether the XPS 15 is placed hinge up or down the opening of the sleeve looks bowed out and does not "hug" the laptop as one would expect from a product made for this PC. If I hadn't gotten this for half price I would've returned it.

Sleeve failed to protect laptop effectively
It is very weak, particularly considering how expensive it was.
I ordered it thinking that it would be some sort of sturdy plastic based upon what it looked like in the picture, not two pieces of cardbord-like material sown together.
Also, it has failed to function as designed. It did not effectively protect my laptop, as I have noticed a small crack at the top of the screen that likely resulted from an external impact while it was in the sleeve.

Magnets do not work
Just terrible. Looks and feels OK, but just won`t close! The magnets are a disaster. First I thought my unit was defective because I thought they forgot to put the magnets in. Then I realized that I could close it by forcing the computer in and pressing the each lip of the lip against each other... Any little movement makes it pop open, which makes me think if this sleeve was ever tested by anyone at Dell. It does not accomplishes it`s basic function.

Dell Premier Sleeve (M) Review
I bought the Dell Premier Sleeve (M) which came as an option for my Dell Precision 3541. The sleeve has a nice quality to its design. The sleeve covers the whole laptop, but the design appears to fit slimmer laptop models than the Dell Precision, so it might be difficult to pull your laptop back out.
Keep in mind that there is a magnet around the opening of the sleeve. If you sit your laptop on top of the sleeve with the open-end facing towards you, the magnet can interfere with the laptops lid switching sensor and cause the laptop to suspend power since the sensor is magnetically activated. You can rotate the opening of the sleeve towards the back-end of your laptop to avoid this.

Bought this with the XPS 15 2 in 1 (also mediocre) to have something to protect it. It does protect it however
Should be cut a little lower on the side to allow charging while in the case
The XPS 2 in 1 has USB C ports only. You will need an adapter for EVERYTHING you use. The cover needs a pocket to hold all your adapters.
Summary: Wish I'd bought a real case instead. AND wish I'd bought the laptop instead of the 2 in 1. Not happy with either.

It only protects the laptop from bumps and scratches. It is not water proof. It is not padded. If you carry your laptop in a case/bag then this is not needed. For carrying it without a bag, it is better than nothing...as long as it is not raining.

Good, but doesn't fit well.
The sleeve seems fine except that it doesn't fully close on my laptop. It seems like it needs to be at least a 1/2 inch larger.

Expensive Cardboard
I purchased this for my wife to help protect her XPS 15 when she carried it in her tote bag. This is a complete piece of junk. It's basically just a thick, colored paper material. I liken it to expensive cardboard, but honestly cardboard is thicker and more protective than this. To me, this is clearly an attempt by Dell to pad their profits a bit by offering this at checkout. This has got to cost them less than a dollar to make. This provides virtually zero protection for the corners or sides of the laptop. The only thing this purchase did was make me respect Dell a whole lot less.

Is too small
Seems too small for the Precision 5530. Packaging says it was for the 5510. When I called I was told it should fit the 5530 and it had been over a month so I could not return. Seems like a ridiculously high price for what it was and now I am stuck with something that does not fit and I will not use.

Great all round computer!
I love my new Dell! I was somewhat bothered by the loss of the DVD Optical Drive as so many of my programs are loaded onto CD's but I got the reasonably priced External USB Drive and all is perfect now.

It works as intended. It could be a little thicker for more protection. That is the reason for four stars.

Certainly don't like the camera positioned where it is....What were they thinking?

Fits XPX 15 nicely
It fits an XPX 15 laptop very nicely. Minimal padding so it is mostly about surface protection. It does not add extra weight or bulk.

Top notch
I bought this sleeve so that when I pack it in my bag the exterior wouldn’t get scratched. I’m pleased with the craftsmanship. The fit is perfect. I did see some reviews where people said it didn’t fit but I noticed that there’s only one way to insert my laptop into the sleeve. So maybe this is why theirs wouldn’t fit. If I could give it more stars I would because I love it.

Dissapointed!
Quality seem ok but I am not able to use this. This was displayed under accessories on the precision 7540 page when I ordered my laptop, but it is too small. It does not say it fits the 7450 but you would think if it is displayed with laptop you are ordering that it would be the size to fit!

Meh. Provides basic protection when carrying around/transporting
It is stylish inside and out, but the XPS 15 fits a little too snug to the point that the closure is awkward. Maybe that will loosen with time and I would give it a 4 star rating. The closure is magnetic, but lacks the snap of better built mag closures. Finally, after a week of use, I'm seeing wear on the bottom side. Makes me wonder about its durability.

Size and Shape
I tried to place my computer into the sleeve, but the sleeve could not accommodate the thickness of the laptop. It was a terrible struggle to get my laptop out from the sleeve, and ended up having to tear the sleeve to release my laptop.

Don't pick this up by the wrong end or your heavy laptop could be on the floor.
Looks cool at first, then disappointing, because there is little actual physical structure, and the magnetic flap is useless - purely cosmetic - for keeping the laptop secured inside. It can only protect a little against scratches as it has a soft interior. Otherwise it is very flimsy and the magnetic flap never should have made it into production. It is not worth the inflated price for the shortcomings and oversight in function. Disappointing - very disappointing.

Great Product! Excellent Protection for my laptop!
Sleeve provides very durable and convenient protection for my XPS15 laptop. It is big enough to let laptop fit easily even with the USB installed for the wireless mouse. It is small enough to conveniently fit in the carrying case for travel. I am very happy with this purchase.

I expected much better from Dell
Having received this as a Christmas gift, I was taken aback at how tacky it was. Then, when I discovered the price, I was disgusted! This item is a lined rubber sleeve with 2 very poor magnets along the edge. I could have ventured into my local market and purchased a far better product for around a quarter of the price shown here. Dell, if you are going to offer protective sleeves for your products, can I suggest you up your quality game considerably, or, substantially reduce the cost of this one.

Dell Premier Sleeve (M fits Precision 5510 / XPS
I purchased the Mobile Precision 3541 XCTO BASE. This sleeve somehow showed up as an offer that seemed related... However, it does not fit the laptop. Returning something always seems like a hassle... If you were to send me a pre-paid return box I would send it back for a refund, otherwise I will just consider it as a loss...

This sleeve is essentially rubber with a soft lining; it has no padding. I don't see this offering much more than basic protection from scratches. If I were to do this again, I would look for a padded neoprene sleeve.

Short Term Solution
It is an okay beginner sleeve to serve as protection until I can buy a leather sleeve. Dell does not do a good job of the description as this product is really made of some kind of paper material. The magnets are okay, but I don't see this is as a long term solution.
