1200 pages are highly inaccurate
you don't get anywhere near 1200 pages. this is the problem I had last time with the larger toner. Frankly, I got 250 pages. I use all dell products. Your sales people don't care. They are aggressive and just want to make a sale.

The toner is fine, easy to install. However paying for it through the Dell account was a nightmare. I was paying ahead but because it wasn't 3 full business days ahead I had to pay a $9.95 fee. To be a computer company, your bill paying software is still in the dark ages.

As stated in an earlier e-mail to your customer service rep, I was disappointed to get only 1200 printed sheets from my cartridge when I was told (upon buying a new Dell printer that I would get at least 3000 copies no matter how often I used my printer.

What an unnecessary mess!
While the cartridge itself performs well, I had a terrible experience with ordering this particular cartridge. I have been installing printer cartridges for years and normally when you get a cartridge at least for larger printers they are in one piece. When I ordered this cartridge for my Dell small home printer. There were no instructions telling you that the part you were getting was the "drum" and you were to take out the old drum from your larger cartridge and this drum would then be installed into the larger piece. I ordered the cartridge for my printer twice and had to return my first order not understanding this very important feature. Twice I spent at least an hour plus questioning various customer service personnel as to why I kept getting the wrong cartridge even tho it had the proper order number etc for my printer. Finally I got someone who was educated enough about this printer I had that explained to me that the old drum needed to be removed and then this new and smaller piece I kept getting was not the cartridge but a replacement for the drum. So I think if Dell had included a detailed explanation in the packaging of this drum and the way it fit into the cartridge for this particular printer and then also trained their customer service people how to explain this to a customer who maybe never had the Dell E310dw/E514dw/E515dw printer previously or had to order a part for it...that would have been immensely helpful!

My Dell toner cartridge...
So far, so good... I've only used it once since I got it. I made the switch to a laser printer a year or so ago and love it!
Of course about the only thing I print are scripts and other manuscripts so I don't really have a need for a color printer...

BAD INSTRUCTIONS
Once the old cartridge is removed and the new one is hooked up everything is good. However
your instructions for removal and then hooking up the new one is a joke. Try being 90
years old and doing it yourself. Once our grandson got his hands on it only took 30
minutes. I would have given you 5 stars if the instructions were better.
