Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not user friendly From unboxing, included tape would not feed and is not recognized by my PC. All the troubleshooting is old and only makes sense if the computer sees the device. After wasting a morning taking it back. There is a reason it was on sale.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DOES NOT TURN ON!! Heard many good things about this product and decided to buy it to be more organized. Sadly it DOES NOT WORK. I installed the battery and connected it to charge. When I pressed the power button, it would not turn on -- completely dead. I received a defective product and am very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great I have had no problems with this labeler.  Instructions for use without a computer could be better, but the unit is pretty intuitive.   Tape is easy to apply, rechargeable battery and no AC makes the unit small, portable and easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use used other brand before, both work great, I like the rechargeable battery feature, works as advertised, no issues, software downloaded and installed without any issues to my Win7Pro machine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SOFTWARE DOESN'T EVEN LOAD THE RIGHT PRINTER DRIVE What a joke... you go through all these contortions to load the software first then REBOOT your machine only to have it load the wrong Printer.... and there's no way to change it in the software. What waste of money

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to use I just received the Labelmanager and found it very useful. Anyone who has experience using a computer can certainly navigate the software or printer controls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest labelmaker! I bought this because I thought it would be fun to have but in the back of my mind I was kind of expecting I would bore easy of it the way many do when buying something like this. However this little gadget is awesome. It's super easy to change out the ribbon so I can jump between colors (bought a combo pack of labels with it so easy that I am not limited in style. I researched various brands of label makers to be sure I got the best quality. This brand had the highest ratings. One of the things people focused on besides the variety of fonts since you can hook it up to your pc and use any font you want was that this brand wasted the least amount of Label. It leaves about a half an inch on either side of the writing. The only part that is a little annoying is the extra steps you have to take to even add a period let alone other symbols (which they do give you a very decent variety to choose from) If they made it easier to use punctuation It would be a perfect gadget

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best one for small business and home use! Very easy to use, have no problem to download the software from Dymo website. Also, we can use any font from PC and Mac, and even can type in a different language. The label looks clean and has no printing jam at all. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Expensive battery This thing should have been designed to work when plugged in. Or work with AA batteries. Once the battery went bad the label maker is useless. The replacement battery is expensive so I'll probably just buy a different label maker and make sure it does not have this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product. PERIOD! Some things are not worth saying as they are what they are. This device is an absolute gem. I've purchased two of them: for work and home. I will be getting one for my kid to keep him away from mine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Charger???? Yeah. I need one more thing that has to be charged. How about just some AA batteries? Where is my charger, anyway? I know it's with all my left socks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works with issues Device works- it prints labels. The label tape does not exit the device rather it rolls it self up inside the device, wasting tape. The recommended software will not download to my Windows 7 computer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Label printer Hate to say this blows the doors off the Labelmanager PnP on relablity. Plus it's more portable too. So I can take it with me anywhere I need labels printed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good I wish that it could charge from USB instead of only from the charger. A backlight would be handy. I bought on sale so the price was very reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from How do you get the back of the tape off? I received this label maker as a christmas gift. I like the printer but I never can get the back of the label off. Very frustrating. I tried using tape to pull the backing form the label but I couldn't get that to work either. I went back to using tape and a sharpie. Lot less frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will not work with my computer First I am a web editor, my son is an IT person. I have PC that's only 2 years old and I/we have tried everything to get the computer to see the Labelmanager 280 to no avail. Installed, uninstalled, fully charged all the time and nothing. It did work once and I have tried for two days and nothing again. I'm using it *handheld* but would be much quicker if I could type labels on the computer.
