SIMPLY AWESOME!!!!!
I purchased this on a "whim", because I wanted it, not NEEDED it! But I am SO VERY GLAD I WENT WITH MY WHIM!!! If you take a couple minutes to read the instruction manual & follow the EASY DIRECTIONS, by the time I got through with the instructions, I was a COMPLETE PRO USING IT!!!!!! I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet! WELL WORTH THE MONEY & I CAN SEE MANY USES FOR THIS GREAT TOOL!

It's great. I use it constantly. It works intuitively and well. The design is robust. The character set is well chosen, and the special font adjustments (underline etc) are sometimes really useful. Replacement label cartridges are easy to install.

Did not work for plant identification.
Purchased product to replace a great but "worn out" manual Dymo label maker that was used to label plants. Staff at Staples store stated the manual Dymo was no longer available, but the Dymo LetraTag would work if purchased tapes for metal. Purchased, labeled many metal plant stakes last fall, and now discovered that most of labels could no longer be seen. Now I have a useless product for the purposes that I needed.

Letra = 60's GM cars. Workable, almost!
makes labels well. peels like you are trying to split the paper. fades in an outdoor electric box after 2 years and remake again. Not a good solution. Your old hand-turn-the-dial is far superior, except for files and paper oriented jobs. This disaster should never have left the design room.

In love with my LetraTag
I recently revised my crafts storage and found my LetraTag was the perfect way to label everything. After that I brought it to my computer area and was able to label my disk storage units so that there is no mistake about what is inside. I'd like to get the ac adaptor because I felt the batteries got weak too quickly, but that may have been because I simply used it so much.

Great Product
I read the reviews that labels are hard to peel. At first it was, but then I realized that the backing is split in half, so the peeling is not difficult; it takes seconds. For the price, it does the job. Very easy to use. I have unpacked the product about 10 minutes ago and have already labeled two things. Great product.

LetraTag
I use the LetraTag to create labels for my workshop: parts drawers, cabinet contents, container contents. This saves a lot of time when I when trying to locate where I have stored tools in the overhead cabinets and 'coffee cans' that do not have see-thru doors/containers. I also use the LetraTag to create labels for my plants. I am new in the house and state and have tried a lot of new bulbs and plants and what to know what thrived and what didn't. My only compliant is that I really need weather-proof labels for outdoors. I covered the labels with clear packing tape but that was not satisfactory. Any suggestions?

I just got this a few days ago, and have been labeling everything! I love the borders, my teenaged daughter loves it to put labels on her pictures for her binder. I am a scrapbooker and I am using it for titles and journeling, it is awesome! My husband tried to steal it for his shop, (I guess I know what to get him for his birthday now!) I won't let him take mine, because I know what it would look like when it came back, if it did come back. So far it has met and exceeded my expectations. It is easy to use and being able to change the font size and type is great. I definitely wish I had gotten one sooner!

well worth the price
I wanted a labeler to help me get more organized and have multiple uses for it. I bought this one because it was lower priced than others and I didn't think I needed more features than what it has. It has worked quite well for me. I use it to label leftovers in the fridge and freezer, complete with dates so I don't have to stop and think about when I made something. I use it on storage boxes and to label my yarn stash and other craft supply boxes. I've used it to make name tags for Christmas stocking ornaments I give my grandkids each year. I've had it several years, maybe as long as 10, and have just recently been getting a battery low warning. That's been going on for a couple of months but it's still working fine so I know it doesn't use a lot of power. I wouldn't bother with the AC adapter, especially if it's not going to be in constant use. And if you use it to label something you'll be washing later, the label should be removed before washing. The adhesive comes off much more cleanly if it hasn't gotten wet. With that said, I've had some adhesion to my freezer containers. Now I take the label off as soon as it comes out of the freezer and before condensation gathers.

I used this to add my name and title to some "starter" business cards I received. Better solution than writing it in by hand. Suggestions for improvement might be "Right Justification", and different font styles/sizes for 2-line labels. But these are minor. Very good product. Get the QWERTY version if labeling more than just occasionally.

The backing is extremely difficult to peel off. Got to be something better. The ability to handle a couple of different widths would be nice. Different colored tapes would be nice

Excellent piece of labelling Equipment
I've used DYMO label equipment for many years ie the old 6mm type, it has now been passed on and is still being used. The 'Letra Tag' is so much more versatile, particularly the 2 line printing and the preview facility.

A great product for organization!!
I got it to use when labeling some boxes I was putting away after moving. It has worked great for labeling everything I wanted to label. The labels print quickly and neatly.

"I love everything you can do with it."
I truly love the LetraTag. I use it from labeling everything. It easy to use and stays stuck. I use mine a lot in my scrapbooking and labeling my ink pads. Would defineatly buy another if this one ever stopped working.

Love It!
I love my new toy! I have labelled everything from shelving to toys to school supplies. It took me a bit to understand the settings, but once I got it down, away I went! I highly recommend!

Doesn't Work - 2nd Try
Bought this device about a month ago to label school supplies. I opened it about a week ago, put in fresh batteries and I tried to print a label but the screen said printing and then the device shut off. Took it back to the store & exchanged it for a new unit today and got the same result. I tried to use it with a power cord and it would not turn on at all. Followed the advice given from Dymo in previous reviews to clean the roller with the tool located under the cartridge cover, but the device continues to do the same thing.

I am on my second one
I had one years ago and wore it out. Now I am on my second, slightly different style, and settings are easier to change. The quality and utility at this price point is excellent. Can't be beat for [$].

I would buy this product again
I like the label maker because of the paper labels, not the plastic ones of the other kind. I hope the ink lasts a long time as I don't know if I have to replace it when it is gone, or if I need to buy another one....I lost the booklet. I also can't figure out how to do just the outline of the letters so I can save on ink.

A Labelmaker for Multiple Applications
I used the old 1/2" DYMO raised-letter labelmakers for years, both at work and at home. The new Letra-Tag has completely replaced the old technology for my applications. Since I make a lot of audio CD's for the church (choir practice CD's and accompaniment CD's, these labels look very professional. Paper labels are most frequently used for non-critical (short-lived) projects and for identifying the date that I repaired a computer (and what was fixed). The metallic labels adorn the DVD's of movies that I have edited (with Pinnacle Studio Plus). The white plastic labels are used for waterproof applications such as on the boat dash, aircraft panel, and outside plastic toolboxes (identifying the contents). I wish that the tapes were available in more colors.

Just what I needed.
Much better than I one I had 23 years ago. I like all the great features. I would like to download a copy of the instructions. Seems like I have misfiled the original.

It did it’s job!
We bought this product several years ago from Walmart. And over the years it has labeled many thinks from office stuff, to my school supplies, to things in the kitchen. But here recently it has seem to have ran out of ink. We cannot find replacement ink cartridges anywhere! Hate that it looks like we will have to buy a new label maker entirely!

Would not reccommend
The Dymo Letra Tag machine will not power up, new batteries don't help, No place for a power cord show that can't be it. Machine has not printed over 2 rolls of labels in an office environment

LCD Screen doesn't last. Poor build quality
Have had this device a little while, it's definitely out of warranty, but I've barely used it. Maybe a handful of time and when I went to go use it today that LCD screen is barely readable. Most of the letter are faded or not visible. Tried new batteries, nothing. What a piece of junk. Garbage. Definitely looking for another brand next time

DYMO LetraTag LT-100H
The label maker's screen is difficult to read it only comes halfway on screen and cannot read. I checked batteries and pressed the power button 20 times with batteries out and then held the num lock +8 and power button to reset but the lcd screen is not working. Very dissapointed when I went to start my project. I bought at Walmart last week, I will be returning and not replacing after reading the other reviews.

Not the quality I expected from Dymo
I have owned my LetraTag® 100H Plus since January 2019. I literally purchased it for one reason. To apply registration ID to my Drone in Canada. I have used it maybe 3 times since. When I picked it up the other day for the 4th use. 2 lines on the display are no longer visible. Note also that it's sat in it's pretty holder with the batteries out of it to make sure there was no corrosion, it's never been dropped or mishandled. I did contact support and they were nice enough to ship me out a new one, but I am concerned after reading the reviews, how many people are experiencing the same issue and if I will just run into the same problem with the replacement.
Long story short. Not happy with the situation of the product, but the customer service I received was AMAZING. Hence why I gave 5 stars. But would I recommend this product? No, especially if it was being used daily as a work horse for creating labels.

Dymo is the brest
This is a terrific little tool and an inspiration to become more organized. Good for labeling kids' items too. I use the plastic label tape for things that get wet, such as a water bottle kept in the fridge. So far they have stayed on & I'm very pleased with it. My one slightly-negative comment is that the font size default cannot be changed - default size is large, but I'd prefer medium - it's plenty big and would save tape. So I have to change the size each time I print something. But still... easy to use, doesn't take up much storage space and I love it. If Dymo would produce colored tape (I've only found white and clear) that'd be even better!
