I love how you can adjust so many viewpoints (width, height), etc., so effortlessly without moving the projector or the screen back and forth. Very advanced! Even in a brightly lit conference room, more than 50 attendees, even way back of the room, could view each slide clearly. This was an excellent purchase and highly recommend it for business presentations.

We didn't have any issues with the unit as it worked as it suppose too which was good on our part as our speaker was happy the way it hook it up to his computer for his talk.

I'm very satisfied with it's functionality, versatility and brightness, even in lighted rooms. (I did think images might be a bit sharper, but affordability was important to me and for the price, this is excellent.)

Only downside, it doesn't like any USB flash drive (macOS). I use the USB-B to USA-A cable (printer) or Lightning to Digital AV adapter (HDMI & USB-C) to iPad Pro.

Also use it in the studio for scaling photos of small preliminary drawings to a larger format for painting. Have used this projector in rooms with windows and moderate light where the image remains clear and visible.

This projector is very easy and fast setting up out of the box. It has a lot of different settings, but it's very user friendly in using. I set it up, and used it without reading the instructions first just to see how easy it is to use. After going back and reading the instructions they were very detailed, and easy to understand for those who may not be to tech savvy. I love that you can hook the projector to your laptop, TV, Phone, and different media devices with cords you already have. Connecting each one is very easy. The picture is amazing, as well as being able to change the size etc. for your preference. Also it has great sound quality, and while running you can't even really hear it. I had it one at once for a few hours, and it never overheated. This projector is well worth the cost, and just as good as the higher priced ones. It will do anything you need to do with a projector, so it's a good purchase. One last thing I loved is it's compact size. It's very easy to move around, and take to different locations.

I have several projectors as we use them for school projects for the older of my six kids, Work presentations for me, and we like to use them to watch movies or play video games on a giant screen as well. This one was impressive from the start. It is a bit bigger than one of the others I have and the same as another. Weight wise it’s probably around 3lbs. It is light enough that my children can move it around. It has multiple inputs from VGA to HDMI. I connected a fire stick tv to it and it worked great. There are multiple ways to adjust the picture. Has 3 legs to adjust the height of the screen, 2 screw able and one in front that drops down when you lift up. It has a horizontal keystone slider. The vertical is automatic that works well but you can do it manually too. The sound from the speaker is better than other projectors that I have used. There is no headphone jack if you wanted to add an external speaker. It has wireless LAN as well which works well. I wasn’t also able to get it to work well with my windows laptop. It comes with a remote which my other ones don’t have and that is an awesome feature. The remote controls the aspect ratio, color mode, input mode, page up and down, and zoom among other things. It’s pretty handy. Overall I would say this is a better quality product than I have used in the past and I would recommend it.

My Toshiba 3T with FAT32 - The projector does not recognize (AC powered) Using my iMac to show movies with a USB - B cable shows jerky movies off the projector. The projector does not seem to work with my iPad .

Rated 5 out of 5 by from East set up, bright, reasonable price, does the job. Pros: easy to set up and use, bright, and convenient. Like the name Epson behind it. It's a little large and heavy to transport, but does the job for a reasonable price. Suggestions: wish it had feet to raise or lower the angle of projection and a well padded, durable, inexpensive carrying case. The software and agenda for getting back to a specific slide or place in the slide show are rather clunky and not-intuitive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lamp died after 4 I bought my Epson VS250 4 days ago, today I go to fire it up and the status light continues to blink blue and the lamp light is solid orange. I haven't used it heavily, just a couple hours each day, but its already failed and of course it happens on a day I was planning to relax and watch movies on my projection screen and Epson's support is closed. .

I read reviews about other projectors with a similar price and the biggest complaint is that the picture is "dim". That's not the case with this projector - the picture is great regardless of the lighting in the room.

Which include it is easy to use and is just light enough to be mobile. The clarity is something that I was pleasantly surprised by. You can watch videos, movies or shows with this projector and you will feel like you are viewing it on a tv. This is a big plus for me. Additionally you will have be able to view photos on this as well without that fuzzy projector look. The not so positive part of this projector is that it doesn't have sound built into it so you will need something else to help the volume be loud enough for the size of the room. If that is not a deal breaker for you then this is the projector for you. You can use this for all your projector needs and wants. I would recommend this for personal and professional use.

The picture is incredible in high definition, and looks absolutely clear!! We watched a couple of kid movies and my niece was in awe!! You can easily change the size of the picture, the settings as it’s very user friendly, and the projector is very quiet. It never overheated after almost 3 hours of continuous use. The speaker sounds amazing and it gives you the experience of a movie theater at home. I was able to hook it up to my old Samsung Galaxy 5 where I had the movies stored with an MHL cable using the HDMI port on the projector. I was able to see everything on my phone with this pretty awesome hookup. The projector is everything it claims to be plus more and can easily be carried from room to room or transported to church, work or any social gathering. Epson has outdone itself and made a great product that will be enjoyed for years to come.

After reading reviews for projectors in this price range I decided my previous experience with Epson that free Roko and a few dollars less was not worth the risk of failure. My previous Epson projector was bought used from a school and has been used in my workshop without problems, and expect the same great service from this new unit

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright, sharp images I use this projector mainly for art work, and it is easy to use and only takes a few minutes to set up. No complicated settings to perform on my laptop. Just plug in the VGA cable, turn on the laptop and the projector, and I all set to go. Only on the initial set-up do you have to make a couple of choices concerning how you want to display, such as "both monitor and projector" or "projector only." Great tool that works well even in a sunlit room.

I connected it to my laptop, basically to see the resolution (Beautiful). I then connected to my game console, using the HDMI connection, and was amazed at how easily it was to instantly find myself playing a quick multiplayer match on my ceiling at 90 inches. It's lightweight and easy to transport without much issue. I highly recommend the VS250 to anyone looking to purchase a projector. I absolutely love this one.

The image is so clear and the projector doesn’t make much noise. The only reason it’s not a 5 Star in my ratings is because It doesn’t have a sound system connection. Meaning I have to purchase a device that can connect my sound system to my projector but I have no idea what to look for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value from a trusted name! This is a review for the Epson VS250 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. We have been looking for a projector to use for movie nights both while at home and while we're traveling. We had a tiny projector that we used to watch movies on the side of our trailer while camping but it just wasn't the quality we wanted. The Epson VS250 is exactly what we were looking for. It is super simple to set up and run via USB cable from our laptop. With just a quick plug into the USB port we were rolling. It also comes with VGA and HDMI ports for use with multiple media sources. It does now, however, come with cables for any of these. With a brightness of 3200 lumens your room doesn't need to be dark to see the projection, which is nice for starting movies before it's dark out. The harsh light of the sunset did prove to be a bit difficult but I don't think that's the projector's fault. The audio output also leaves a bit to be desired. While we we're able to hear the sound from the movie we found that we were all huddled very close to the projector in order to do so. I imagine this wouldn't be quite as much of an issue for business presentations or watching movies in a smaller, enclosed environment. Overall I am quite happy with the Epson VS250 projector. At the price point it offers great value and performance.

My former projector required me to turn off the front lights so students could see the projected image - and turn the front lights on again when I was done using the projector...all day javascript:void(0)long, I also had to used a yardstick to press the "Source" button on the old ceiling-mounted projector to get my DVD to display as my old controller didn't have a "Source" button. That is no longer the case now that my brand-spankin' new Epson VS250 is installed. Thanks to an amazing administrative staff who listened and responded to my plea for projector help!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture wish it came with the Wi-Fi module “This is a review for the Epson VS250 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.” We have been looking for a projector to replace the one we have for our community movie night. It is set up on the community field and takes place in summer. Last year we had an issue with the projector being not bright enough as even at 8 ‘o’ clock it is not dark enough. We just had the 1st movie night with the Epson VS250 projector and everyone was impressed by how bright it was even though we still had some light. Even when I project it in our home to play a movie I did not have to turn off the lights and were still able to see it very clearly. The best feature of the projector is the bright, clear picture. Setting up was also very easy though there were not much instruction about the remote, it was not too hard to figure out how it will work. I liked that the battery for the remote was included. The projector came with a VGA cord but missed having an HDMI which is the cord most people needs nowadays. None of our computers have a VGA port, thankfully I had an extra cord at home. The other thing that I really wish the projector came with was the WI-FI Module. I prefer setting things wirelessly and the projector is costly enough to come with the module. I just ordered the wi-fi module and am waiting for it hopefully it will make the connections and projections much easier. Overall a very satisfactory projector especially if your requirement is for a brighter HD quality picture you can surely go for it.

So far, I haven't been able to show videos PC Free, because the projector is very fussy about the format, and to date all my conversion attempts have failed with no useful error messages (although the videos work fine on my computer!).

The projector has a nice look and is compact/lightweight for very easy transport. Set up was a breeze; I had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I intend to use this projector purely for recreation (movies and video games). To that end, the picture was amazingly crisp and sharp. I only had two small call outs. First, the sound quality could be a little better and secondly, I had to move the unit closer to my viewing screen than I would have liked (the telescoping feature only adjusted so far). Overall, great unit that I would definitely recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice for home theater too! Purchased the VS250 after returning a pico projector. The pico projector wasn't bright enough for presentations or a home theater. The room had to essentially be pitch black, and even then it was dim. Not the VS250. It is very bright, even in daylight, and the colors are vivid and the picture is clear. I'm using it along with a Verizon Fios DVR and the quality of the picture is really good. I have the projector about 11 ft away from a white screen and I'm sitting about 6 feet behind the projector. Is the picture as good as my 50" Panasonic plasma tv? No. But the Epson holds its own and for the price, and considering how large the image is on the screen, I'm very happy with the results. The small speaker in the projector is OK in a pinch, but you'd be much better off using external speakers.

The projector has a very professional look and feel to it. It is so simple to set up and has all the controls and ports I need! It comes with a remote to control everything right in your hand. The image on the projector is clear and bright ,perfect ! I am very pleased and already have two presentations set up for this month ,can not wait to test it out in front of everyone !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from portable multimedia projector / a challenge with MAC! nice looking, easy to hook up ( I consider it cheating to have to read directions )... only problem is that it has to have either jpeg, bitmap, gif or png to operate from Keynote for MAC... I went through considerable work to manage the transfer as it seemed like no one could tell me HOW to change over... Finally have it going and the ordering of the slide presentation just using numerical order won't work! Phone call tomorrow to support, maybe they can tell me how to fix 1, 2, 3! The CD that comes w/ it won't play on MAC either... the product info says compatible with MAC... quite misleading.

I am very happy with my Projector, I have been teaching for over a year now and like everything else times are changing. So as times change we have to adjust likewise. I used my projector to keep my students envolved and engaged. The picture was so clear and the mobility of my projector was far none! My class and I were able to bond after viewing the presentations that we all had to present with our new class Projector! The Epson Projector VS250 has added significant improvements to my next level of development and teaching and is a must have for the professional and or personal usage! My family and I got a chance to watch a Family Movie and have a family movie night as well! So not only did I score for my students. I also scored for my family two for one! Can’t beat that at all! One of the best investments by far!

The sound is even good from the speaker in the unit although I will use a receiver. I have only owned it for 1 day but so far so good. Overall great buy !

It arrived safely and securely packaged. All of the parts nicely packaged. Set up was a breeze. I followed the instructions and had it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I was able to hook it up to my laptop and to my streaming device. The projector works really well too. Picture quality is perfect. It does get warm when in use for a long time but have not had any issue with it getting too hot. The fan is not as quiet as I'd like but honestly that's not an issue because the sound quality from this projector is really great. I've used it hooked up to separate speakers and not, the sound is good regardless. I would highly recommend this product to anyone considering purchasing a projector. It is very intuitive to set up and use, and the sound and picture quality are professional looking. Perfect for home use, events, and work uses too.

Now as an independent consultant, I needed one of my own and decided to purchase this one because of the ease of use, its durability and clear accurate color projection.

The quick set up instructions were perfect to get me started with using my laptop and the projector. However there were no instructions for the remote. Then logged onto website and reviewed the owners manual to find instructions for remote but there were not there (only a picture of the remote labling each button. Very disappointed that I could not find a way to use the remote for my first presentation after an hour of research. Wound up using my wireless mouse and laptop to control the projector. Epson, was I missing parts or missing the right place to find instructions. You can do better than this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture poor performance Usb is worthless. It only supports "avi" and most of those files will not work as well. 4 cheap projectors under 100 dollars and this is the first i cant use. The money i saved is now being spent on extra equipment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality This is a review for the Epson VS250 Projector that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review. The exciting thing is that you can project a huge image on the wall, and that gives you that movie theater experience. The picture looks like that. The colors are incredibly true and accurate. The images are nice and bright even in a well-lit room. I got the projector out of the box, plugged it in to the wall, turned it on and hooked it up to my computer. All this only took about 10 minutes. I was able to watch a movie through my laptop and the image was about 15ft, and even at that size, I Iost nothing in image quality. The unit itself feels high quality and durable. The speakers are a little soft, which is okay for a small meeting or group of people, but if it's a larger group, you will need external speakers. Overall this well-made, high quality projector that doesn't break the bank. I would definitely recommend this projector whether it be for business or personal.

I bought it specifically to watch movies in my sun room during the day time and I'm very happy with how bright and clear the picture is. My only question is; is there away to project a smaller image onto 120 screen from a distance of about 20ft away with this projector.

Bestbuy replaced it, but that's not my complaint, your projectors need audio input and outputs. Your old models use to have it and now with the firesticks, the audio doesn't work with the receivers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Produce VS250 I have use an older Epsom Projector in the past. I think it was a 200 model. This VS250 is so much brighter and better. It is very easy to connect to my laptop. Teaching classes using power point and seeing the added brightness was exciting for me and my students. Thank you Epson for a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's a GREAT product a GREAT Price We used the Projector in 2 well-lit rooms and can say the LUMEN rating is quite right. FINALLY the slides look as pretty as they SHOULD have all this time!!! The ONE thing we did NOT like is that it does NOT have audio out to hook up speakers. The speakers are fine for small rooms, but in large conference rooms we have to put a MIC into the projector's speaker, which isn't the most desirable, technically speaking. When they put an AUDIO out, this will get the 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Epson Projectors Are Always Top Notch, But... I have used Epson projectors for quite some time & the quality is always superb. My disappointment with the VS250 (and I discovered this after the fact of purchasing that many people have the same issue with many Epson projectors) is that I also had to purchase a HDMI converter in order to have an external sound source. There is no Sound Out option on this VS250! Now that I have the converter, works like a charm...just an add'l expense I wasn't expecting. Many people still wonder why Epson does not provide a sound out option. Issue number 2 (and I hope I can figure out how to remedy this) is the default setting for the zoom is at the lowest point, so every time I turn on the projector, I must zoom out to get the desired size image I need. Hopefully I can discover how to change the default to be set to higher zoom level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded by expectations We bought this projector for "covid" safe outdoor movies with family and friends. It works great and we have been very pleased. In the dark rural area we live in we are projecting on a 22' by 14' canvas screen (two 15' by 12' canvas drop cloths side by side) and it looks great 100 feet away. The only thing I would change would be an audio out on the projector but this is only a problem with a HDMI cable. RCA connections on older DVD players and headphone jacks on laptops are easy to hook up to audio equipment so we plan for that. A HDMI audio extractor will be my next purchase.

The video works well from a wired computer but converting the video to the file type needed for a USB stick to be used without a computer gave a grainy picture. The USB usage does not allow a power point to be used but I have converted my power point slides to .jpg with success.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good!! We bought the Epson VS250 projector (from Amazon) to use for home TV and movies. So far it has exceeded our expectations! We purchased an Epson 100" portable screen with it and attach our soundbar (via Bluetooth) for extra added sound. Our kids and their friends love it! The lumens is exceptional and we are able to even watch when it is still light outside. Of course when it becomes darker - it is even better. We are looking forward to using it more often with friends to socially distance watching movies. Highly recommend especially for the price point.

I chose it to replace my Cannon wide format because it got great reviews for printing photos on watercolor paper. It has about the same profile as the Cannon as far as the space required, but that's where the favorable comparisons stop. I have had nothing but trouble connecting to my iPhone and printing with the Epson app. I purchased a warranty through Staples and am glad I did. Their tec support has been top notch, although unable to solve my problems. They switched me to Epson support, which was terrible. Condescending customer support person and provided information that I knew to be inaccurate...for instance that I had to save my photo as a document to print it from the rear tray. Absurd! After several hours on the phone I am still unable to print on card stock or water color paper from the rear feed. Of course, it's too thick to feed through the internal paper tray. I so want my Cannon back and am regretting my purchase, although with the proper tech support my mind could be modestly changed. The front control panel flips up and does not seem nearly as sturdy as the Cannon. Also, the tray that catches the prints is gear driven and I think will be a future point of failure. If Epson ever wants someone who knows how this should work in order to provide a great product for people like me I'd be happy to test and review. I do like the color pallet of the cartridges, but haven't been able to see how they'll preform for my use.

It's not a large church, around 120 seats but it would work for a church with probably 200 +I'm sure. Very happy with this purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, awesome customer service. After a little over 3 months of daily use, one of my two vs250’s blew a lamp. One phone call and a new lamp was sent out. I’ve tried shopping other brands. I’ve found that it is hard to find anyone giving accurate brightness specs quite like epson did/does. In the picture, you can see first hand a side by side comparison between one of my epson vs250’s next to a higher def budget projector which claimed almost double the lumens as the epson. While the resolution was indeed better, they lie about their brightness. Epson wins despite the resolution. It doesn’t help me if it’s too dark to see. Primary use is for gaming.
