Doesn’t last very long
The toner is fine but doesn’t last nearly as long as the website estimates (~ 1000 pages). With the amount of pages I print it should last around 9 months, but I’m lucky if I get 6.

Very hard and confusing to load the software
Bought a printer. The set up instructions for the software were terrible. I spent quite a bit of time trying to get it set up but had to call ny son in law who is very good at this, It took him 3 1/2 hours to get the software loaded.

There are not 2000 copies per cartridge
I print a lot had have used HP since 1997. Will give another brand a try next round as HP is putting less and less ink into their products. It is a shame. I am getting about 500 copies per cartridge, that is 10 cents a copy. Much to much for a lazer Black & White.

I bought it half year ago and have been very happy with it - it is easy to set up ( nothing is needed almost to set up), easy to operate ( from iPhone , MAC and iPad), most important, it is fast to start - my old machine took about 1 min to warm up. This one takes only a few seconds. This is handy when you want to print quickly a page from your phone. It is cost effective.

This toner cartridge does not have a high capacity at all, probably less than 500 pages in actuality -- and 500 is being generous. If you use your printer with any regularity, printers that use this cartridge are not for you. Two of the cartridges end up costing more than the printer itself, so look for a printer that uses cartridges with a higher capacity than this one. You're going to pay for it one way or another.

I’m blown away with how easy it was to instal. I was freaking out, as installing toner just sounds so complicated and I’ve always had an ink yet, but this was so easy I think I’ll nevee go back to ink yet anymore. I also loved the feature on how easy they make it to recycle the old toner cartridge. Ok so its toner......but it is good toner!
What can I say, other than it perfectly fits my model of laser printer and creates nice dark blacks on the documents? True, the quality of the prints really does seem better than those of discount toners and I really do trust HP to provide an excellent product made specifically for their machines that will not only do what is needed (in this case supply toner to print) but will also help keep to the printer in top shape which some discount toners do not do (think clogs and such). All in all worth the extra cost, and I find that in the long run going with a quality brand really ends up paying for itself in extending the longevity of the product.

The HP website states this toner cartridge can print ~1000 pages. But actually after printing about 400 pages, my HP laserjet black printer keeps showing the message "toner very low" and half the page of each page cannot be printed. Such blatant misrepresentations!

Have had printer for a few months, but only recently installed. Love the wireless printing...definitely expended my printing options especially from mobile devices.
My only issue is saving on toner during printing. I went online and couldn’t find any helpful info. Also, the toner cartridge is not available in high yield capacity, so I’m trying to be conservative.

It was so simple to order, I didn't have to leave my own home, to drive all the way into town, and go into a store, looking through all of the ink toners to find my toner, and come back another day if they didn't have it, or drive all over town, to find it at another store. I love my printer, and the toner is great for printing school work sheets, for my grand kids, it is a lot less costly, than using the ink in my color printer. Our only problem (this has happened three times now) is that sometimes for no reason we can ascertain, it just stops printing. I turn off and on, wait, off and on again, and this has so far worked.

I got this for my m14-17. And my brother m21. It has worked great so far. Lasts for so many pages. I’ve only had to replace the ink twice and I’ve printed out 2 textbooks and multiple assignments a papers. And it’s a bargain as far as printing being as it’s on 47 dollars opposed
To printing something out at staples that would cost twice or 3 Times as much.

Happy I have toner again. It works fine but there were two issues - the toner tends to bleed which is not normal for this printer or cartridge. Additionally, the recycle package that was included wasn't large enough for this cartridge so it made the extra packaging irrelevant.

I bought a LaserJet Pro M15a a couple of months ago. I went through the included cartridge pretty quick, so I picked up a new 48A cartridge from Wal Mart. It was an HP cartridge in HP packaging, so it wasn't a third party refill.
It claims to print 1000 pages. Well, after printing 97 pages (according to HP Printer Assistant) it's reporting only 150 pages remaining. The print jobs were standard print jobs, single spaced text and a couple of small B&W photos. I set the density to the lowest setting to see if it made a difference, but it didn't seem too. Did I get a bunk cartridge?
Not sure I can recommend this right now.

Original equipment for my HP machine.

I have purchased several of these cartridges and they are supposed to print 1000 pages or so I thought. When they get to about 450 pages my computer starts telling me it is low on ink and its time to purchase another one. I manage to eek out maybe 30-40 more pages before it quits.

I have never had a complaint with this product. This review is based on placing and paying for an order over 2 weeks ago that still hasn't arrived. I rely on HP for my toner purchases. I could have just as easily gone to Wal-Mart or Office Depot, but I decided to cut the middle man out. It's frustrating because I have ZERO recourse when the shipment fails to arrive.

I replaced my old HP LaserJet with this new printer. The old one lasted 10 years. Since I am 75 years old, If this one makes it 10 years it is most likely the last HP printer I will need to buy. Pages limit inaccurate
The precision of the toner is good. We have no problems with our papers coming out in black "ink" however we were not able to get about 1000 pages out of it like stated. The reason for us switching to a laserjet is because we were told it'll help us saving on buying ink. So far we went through two toners and now are on our third, that is already over $150 in a month's span.

Wrong toner advertised in HP site
Product was wrong for the printer I have, although it is explicitly mentioned in HP site that HP48A is the right toner for LaserJet Pro M15W. The right toner was the HP 44A (part# CF244A) which I had to buy from a reseller store directly paying much more, while the toner you sent me is unusable.

EXCELLENT BLACK AND WHITE PRINTER
I UPGRADED TO THE HP LASER JET PRO M15W PRINTER AFTER HAVING USED THE HP LASERJET 1012 FOR OVER 6 YEARS. Recently MacOS Catalina Version 10.15.7 needed the newer printer for an upgrade. I like the newer one it is quieter and prints directly from my iPhone.

HP lacks the tech in technology
I called HP looking for a printer compatable with my Samsung Chromebook. I specified I wanted to connect via wifi without the need of a PC or another complicated method. They said the M29W would work. Well......it arrived and I couldn't figure it out. I finally calld HP and after 3 transfers a rep attempted to help and after one hour I cried uncle, asked for a supervisor and set up a return. I was furious! On Sunday I decided to give it one more try; I called and got transferred from Tech Support to Chromebook Support who said nope, had to go through Laser Jet Support, who in turn said nope, 'I don't know why they transferred you here' and transferred my back to Chromebook Support. After 4 transfers I connected with a rep who was patient and determined, although it still was 'trial and error'. After an hour and a half I had a printer. It does work great, now that it is working, but I would NEVER go through that again. One woudl think that a tech company ie tech giant would know something about technology. Guess not. A sign of the times. Pathetic.

Don't Buy for Online Feature
I have had this printer about two months. Wireless printing worked for about two weeks. I reset it twice after wh it worked for a couple of days each reset and now has to be wired every time I print. Copies are of good quality, however, toner cartridge made less than 500 copies and toner warning came on. If you order toner from HP make certain you allow enough time as it took over two weeks to arrive after the order was placed. Copier and scanner all work well and meet my needs. Printer works well when wired. I am very dissatisfied with the wireless feature which was a big reason for selecting this printer.

My wife & I are so happy we decided to buy our HP laser printer. The laser cartridge lasts longer than the ink in the ink printers. No more worries about buying expensive ink when one color runs out. It’s also much faster the the ink printer. I think we finally have a great printer!

I bought Toner Cartridge for my new Laserjet printer. Since my requirements are for printing black/white, this was a perfect match for my needs. It replaces an HP Officejet 4500. I experimented witth OEM print cartridges and found it to be a "hit or miss" result. Lesson leaned is if you want quality print, the only guaranteed assurance is to buy genuine HP parts. It doesn’t print colors well. Everything is streaky and I’ve tried all of the suggested remedies. No improvement.
Their ink program also is happy to ratchet up your monthly pages when use is high but doesn’t offer a reduction when use is low. That doesn’t build trust.

I start getting messages that I need a new cartridge way before I need one. If print starts getting light, I take out the cartridge and roll it forward and back several times to shake it up, and I get months of use from the cartridge. I've been happy with the printer.

I like this product and the fact that it is easy to instal and HP makes it easy to send back to recycle. It would be great if those who did send cartridge back would get money off on future cartridge purchase.
The ink does last as long as I thought it would, but then again, I'm not counting the number of sheets printed.

No instructions
So….. I did have a problem with this printer ink. I haven’t been able to use it I took the orange cap off and then it had a little orange tab on the side and I thought that had to come off too but when I pulled it the tape came off. So now I did put it in even though the tape was hanging and it only printed on half of the paper. I couldn’t find instructions anywhere in the box and how to put it in and it’s a new printer-it’s first time I ever had to replace the ink.

This printer will not print from my computer. I’ve tried everything and forget scanning. Thankfully I can print from my phone, that’s the only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1. Unless you are super computer savvy, get something else. Honestly the print quality isn’t that great either but it’s a cheap laser printer. In this case the old adage is true, you get what you pay for.

Had issues in the past with "aftermarket" ink cartridges so I purchased an HP Laser printer. So happy I did as it works great...and even does .pdf scans with the software supplied with the printer. When it came time to replace the toner, I found the OEM toner cartridge on the HP site. It was competitively priced and did not disappoint at all. GREAT value and no compatibility issues sometimes found in re-manufactured products.

Not very much toner in this toner cartridge.
I've had this cartridge for a few weeks. I've printed about ten pages in that time, and for some reason, the "low toner" indicator is lighting up on my printer. So either my HP printer is malfunctioning, or the cartridge was sent with very little toner inside.

Hate the reminders
I'm a single person user printing about two sheets a day. Great that I got an automatic reminder that the ink was getting low. I bought a cartridge to be ready, but the reminders keep coming one at a time, one after another. They interrupt things that I'm working on. It was nice to get the warning. You got the sale. I'm still upset because the printer is still working with the original cartridge but my desktop is still full on reminders.

Did not get anywhere close to the 1000 pages advertised per cartridge. They send you a box with a shipping label to send the used cartridge back but don't offer rewards to recycle. Will continue to buy, not sure if a different type will mess up the printer.

The print quality is consistently good and I do appreciate the ability to bring the cartridge back for reuse/recycling. But I know my last cartridge didn't print as many pages as promised. And what I print is almost entirely a light load for the ink. So that was disappointing.

The issue I had was the lapses in time I had with needing copies. Whenever I had to use my old inkjet printer there was a problem with the cartridges being either clogged or dried out. I purchased the HP laser jet pro and its been performing perfectly. I was away for several months and when I came back I had a lot of copies to make from accumulated emails. I turned on the copier and it performed flawlessly. No more clogging. Just a great little printer that does everything you would want. Great value. The cartridges are easy to install and yield a lot of copies.

And when i received the toner, the box had a puncture hole in it. Not a big deal if the toner were packed in another box. Through hp they slap an address sticker on the box which apparently takes a week to do.

I love my Laser Jet Toner Cartridge. It lasts a long time and I enjoy the fact that I do not have to replace the ink often. During my old ink process, I was always buying ink often. This annoyed me tremendously. Now I can easily print over and over and over again and still have lots of ink left over. Great Product!!!

Quick and easy and works great
Working from home now, I am using my printer more often. I was able to easily click in my HP Smart app and click to order more toner and it directly opened a web page where my specific toner needed was and I was easily able to purchase and order for delivery. It also came pretty fast and was the correct toner cartridge and works great. Plus I literally can print so many things and it lasts a long time. I have been working from home since March of last year and print paperwork several days a week if not more for my work. I also have 3 kids, 2 younger girls who love crafts and coloring so I am often printing for them as well. The print quality is great. No smudges, no issues. I'm very happy and still printing. I've only had to replace once in the last year as these last a good while. I don't print as much at home as I would at work as we have been doing more electronic paperwork but I am printing regularly and just amazed at how much you can print on one toner cartridge. Plus the change out of the old one is super easy and there are instructions. Then once the new one is in and you close the lid, it sets itself up. So very easy. Definitely recommend.

I bought this cartridge and after 2 days I got an error on my printer stating that I had a memory supply error and was told by the printer status that the cartridge needed replacing. I waited on hold for hours to talk to tech support and customer service and never got through in order to discuss the issue with either party.

I origonally replaced the cartridge with a compatable, which turned out to not be compatable, so purchesed the HP cartridge instead. The original cartridge lasted only 3 months- other cartridges of my previous printer (Canon) lasted a year, based on my usage. So, although I'm pleased with the quality of the cartridges, I'm unsure of how long they'll last.

Knowing When to Replace
Synchronizing the software to the hardware would be helpful. The printer sends a toner low message prematurely which can be a bit of an annoyance.. The good news, the cartridge prints more pages.

48A Replacement Toner Cartridge
The HP Laser Jet Pro M15w is the first printer I have owned. I have not had an issue with it. It serves the purpose I purchased it for. This is my first replacement toner cartridge; I have not used it yet as the original is not empty. I chose to purchase an HP replacement cartridge so I could feel secure I would receive a quality product. The item arrived quickly and was packaged well.

48A HP cartridge
Ordered the 48A Cartridge with no issues. The ordering process was simple and the produc arrived on time. However, the recycling envelope was 1/3 the size of the cartridge. So I was unable to return the used cartridge back to HP. Last year when I purchased the cartridge form Office Depot, they provided a box with the return address label. So OD did a much better job than HP. Therefore I only gave it 3 stars. Had they provide a correct return package I would have given them 5 stars.

Prints clearly. Easy to install. The mailing carton is ingeniously designed, enabling return of the used cartridge. My only criticism is that I wish they would print (on paper) instructions for preparing the new cartridge, rather than embossing them into the plastic on the cartridge -- very difficult to discern.

Don't purchase any more of these toners.
The HPLaser Jet M15 has been discontinued. Unfortunately right before it stopped working it requested toner. I received the toner and pulled the tab and installed it to my printer. Well printer doesn't work so I now have a cartridge with a pulled tab and no where to install this new cartridge. Very disappointing to say the least.

Love my little wireless hp printer, and I print at home on the daily. Recipes , correspondence, stuff I want a hard copy for. I LOVE the convenience of ordering from the app. No errors in product, and as I live in a very rural location, no travelling to get to a supplier. Toner is delivered via Canada Post which I also love.
