The first two cartridges I opened to install, the ink poured out of them all over myself and my desk. The cartridges don’t last long and I’m sure these two will need to be replaced much sooner. Next time I may just purchase from my local office supply store. Wish the mailing packaging was more protective.

Now, I'm trying to return the cartridges, get an email instructing me how to print a return label... how ironic?!!! I can't print the return label :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Disappointed. In June, I received by order of HP564 ink cartridges. I generally buy from Amazon or use the "fake" for color. Today I discovered that the yellow cartridge that I never printed from was dried up when I tried to print out a 12 page document with a yellow heading. I took the cartridge out and tapped it on a blank piece of paper and a pale yellow appeared. Put the cartridge back in and did another Printer Status Report that shows an empty yellow space. I brought the pack with color cartridges. This has never happened in the many years I have used this printer. Very disappointing.

No problem installing, then running "Clean printheads", but a problem occurred afterwards when running "Print Quality Report". There was NO black result on report. I changed the black ink with full cartage. Again it showed no black on report. I've tried cleaning several way to no avail. Now the color inks I've just received are now showing "low ink". I still have no printer. If printer is fixable - through your suggestion - it would be nice to have new color cartage's. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ink Bought this product online. Took longer than usual to get here. I also order the regular black ink, but they sent me 2 cartridges meant for just photos. The smaller one fit my printer but the 2nd one, a cartridge that was "X-tra large" did not fit either slot for the black ink cartridge. So I emailed them and they admitted the error and credited my account for the missing ink. I like HP because they are always on top and if there is an error they fix it. Their ink is superior to the cheap brands you see out there. Color is vibrant and true.

I put in all 4 cartridges and discovered that the black was not printing. Did all the troubleshooting and still cannot get black to print. No error message. Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow all print fine.

After replacing all cartridges with this set, my 7520 Photosmart printer is leaving a black splotch on the corner of every page. I really like the convenient spent cartridge recycle process.

By the time I inserted, ran a calibration and another diagnostic (needed due to issues with my printer), the ink was almost gone.

Looked at the ink supply item on my printer and my red ink was already down to half full and yellow and blue were not much better. Now I haven't even printed anything yet. Printed 3 copies of a letter from my computer and turned the printer off. About a week later I wanted to copy a letter. Turned on the printer and it went thru the getting ready process, then gave me the ink low warning, looked and it says the red is empty and the yellow and blue are about 1/3 full. I have printed nothing color and the printer has been on only twice. Since I live alone, I know no one else has been near it. Did these cartridges have almost no ink in them to start? This makes no sense.

Immediately upon installation I saw an error message indicating print head failure. I was advised by HP Tech Support not to attempt print head replacement. I have purchased an HP Office Jet Pro 6978 as replacement. An HP customer service representative suggested I request an "ink exchange rebate" but I have not been able to locate a human to address such a request. I am returning the unused cartridges to HP for recycling.

It was nice to be able to open one pack to change them all at one time. The quality of HP ink was never in question - it's great! I bought two 3 packs and can look forward to productive time Shipping was on time and free. No issues!

The ink seemed to last longer than other brands and the quality was always spot on. Though the last black ink seemed to cut out way too quickly, I will try purchasing it again, hoping it was just a fluke. I need to purchase another laptop and will definitely go to HP first.

I contacted customer service and was told even though I was printing black and white, both black cartridges must be full. So I then replaced the photo cartridge and two weeks later went to print a full page in color and it still streaked even though all of the cartridges were showing good. I will replace this printer ASAP. I use HP cartridges but the printer always tells me that they are not genuine HP cartridges. I do not print photographs and yet every time I try to print in color it streaks the page! I'm done!

You have changed the chip within and it has deemed my printer out-of-date and unusable. I, therefore, am very unhappy that I do not have a working printer!! The only positive fact, my money was returned for the ink I cannot use. However, that does not rectify my not having a printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You Are Running Low of Ink -- You Should Order Since about 2014, I have used HP website to buy my ink for my printer because when I get that message -- Your are running low on ink -- it is usually about midnight and I am working on a paper or lesson for my class in the morning. I go to the website and by the next day or depending how late I ordered, it may be two days until my order arrives. Why is this such a big deal? Have you tried to find a specific ink cartridge at Walmart or some other 24 hour store at 2AM in the morning because you have a project due at 8:00 AM. To me HP has gotten the idea of customer service right -- you order from them, there is a discount if you order above a certain dollar amount and next day shipping is free -- I do not have to pay over a hundred dollars a year for free shipping like some large online merchants require. Try HP website the next time you get the message on your screen or printer. You will not be disappointed.

I recently bought the 3-pack HP-564 color ink cartridges and as usual, in their first class style, the product was delivered in an exceptionally timely fashion. Delightfully on the website they remember my previous purchases so ordering is easy. Through the years I have always bought the HP cartridges (along with other items) from HP because they are absolute quality you can always depend on. No half-filled cartridges, no delayed orders & the product is as claims to be. What a delight! I'm proud to be an HP junkie for life!!

Before I noticed the leaking, some spots were on my papers, and even my carpet. I will not be using HP online ordering in the future. This is the second time I have received defective cartridges.

The message at the end stated that we were causing undue harm to our printer due to the fact that it was not a HP product. I bought it from HP, and it was in a HP 3-pack box. I have never had any problems with the cartridges before, so I immediately reordered black and the 3 pack ink cartridges.

When I place all inks (colors) the bar picture on the app didn’t went all the way up, after printing the ink measurement bar when down so fast it is now lower then half of the bar, How can this be posible? The ink I purchased said it is good for 250 pages, I am not happy at all.

On this occasion, my daughter told me the cartridges were $14 less expensive at Walmart. I have always purchased my cartridges under the employee / retiree plan which saves 10%. I will check prices at Walmart going forward. I still love HP and buy HP because I worked there 26 years.

Now, I'm stuck with all this new ink, and cant use it now. Can I get a refund??? I have to buy a new printer, and of course, doesn't take this ink cartridges. I cant find a new printer takes this ink. Now I'm stuck with ink, I cant use, and out $83.00. Bought multi pack, and 564xl. Ink. I can't afford to waste money like that. Please help I'm such a loyal customer on HP.

My previous cartridges ran out way too fast it was as if they were only half full. We did very little color printing and they were dry, Hopefully the new ones work better.

The black ink never worked - I followed all the advice available online to fix the issue with no success. Re the color, I did two or three test prints, and the level of ink availaible (shown on the printer display) went down by about 1/5th. So whereas they started at about 100% (I think one started at about %85, actually..), after I did two test prints (trying to get the black to work) they went down by about 20%, which is baffling. Since the black ink wont work and that's really the one I need, I bought another whole printer. An HP one actually, which just arrived today and I have yet to open. Obviously the ink cartridges I bought will not work in the new one (and I checked to make sure, they definitely don't), so unless HP will allow me to send the cartridges back, then I am out a good amount of money. Very frustrating.

I like the fact that you enclosed are return envelope to send back old ones. I only sent 8 as that was the max you said. I have many more laying around here. I use to return them to Staples years ago and then get about a $2 credit on 10 cartilages on a future purchase. I liked the fact that I didn't have to pay for shipping.

However with COVID-19 and a compromised immune system I didn’t want to risk going out just to have craft items printed. If it hadn’t been for the stimulus check I never could have afforded to buy it.

Then printer said almost out as bands of pink ribbons showed across prints. Now have half ink left all cartridges except yellow is out of ink.

The other said 64xl package did not say a 64xl with a package. So you think you are getting all XLs, but what you get is a 64xl black with a color package of regular 64s. It should say 64xl with a package, not 64xl package. So make sure you read everything, not just the titles, and why does everyone have the 65xl black in stock all the tome, but HP?

Something is always wrong the first printing attempt every time I have used it to print. I purchased replacement ink cartridges numerous times and after only printing about 100 pages, it became low on ink. Many of those purchases from retail stores indicated the cartridges were not authentic ink cartridges (knock off versions). The cartridges you sent me this time indicated they were authentic HP cartridges, which is a first. Your cartridges are extremely expensive for how small they are and how quickly they become empty. The next time I have to replace the cartridges, I am just going to buy a different company’s printer, as some of those printers are rated highly above HP and cost about the same amount as a set of cartridges. Finally, there are two black cartridges that go into the printer but you only sent me one, the larger one. The smaller black cartridge was not included so I just reinstalled the one that was in the printer already.

No one else uses my printer, but seem to need to reorder before I reach the number of designated pages of print. The person I spoke with asked about if I turn th the printer off and if I print a lot of documents. The answers were no & no. However, I've ordered more frequently than I believe I should have to, for what this cartridge costs.

After trying everything and buying a new one from Staples, I found it to say the same thing. Do I took alcohol and a q-tip and cleaned the printer cartridge holder. Voila’ it worked.

But i'm able to return them for a refund and reorder a new pack so it worked out. It wasnt the actually ink cartridge something happened to this pack when it was made because for years I've never had a problem and I have order them from a lot of different stores throughout the years and they have never leaked.

Quite a few times I bought from the stores and had to discard my ink cartridges way before due to they dried out even though the printer showed my level was low.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ink cartridges broke my printer 2 weeks ago I had a working HP 4620 Officejet printer. Now I have a non responsive, and damaged printer. Printer picked up the cartridges as an error that it didn't detect the cartridges in the slots even when they were clearly present. After deep research into fixing the printhead and cleaning the filters, it no longer detected the other colors. Sure enough it would not go further than the error message that tells me to just turn it off. Just a pattern of a broken brand that sells broken printers.

I bought a new Epson printer that has ink wells. The bottles of ink are half the price of the HP cartridges and I can actually see how much ink is in the well.

Within a couple of months after installing those cartridges, my printer refused to feed paper from the paper tray to the printing area. It is not anyone’s fault but I did spend over $100 on ink that was pitched with the old printer.

I don't want to have to buy the whole thing when my daughter prints five pages of red and the red runs out but I have to buy the whole one color ink so I am going to either Canon or Epson to get the individual cartridge. Incredibly disappointed with this product and will never purchase ink online again. I'm not sure if it was the packaging that caused this or a defective ink cartridge. What's worse is, I went to Office Max to buy a single cartridge of magenta and when I installed it in my printer - ready to print the return label, I noticed the label doesn't print out clearly. I can't even use it, it's so bad. I tested other documents and they all print out fine. So I can't even return this item.

I don’t use my printer often, but I could always get the ink at CVS using my 40% coupon which made it worthwhile for me to keep using my printer, instead of buying a new printer. I really wish, however, that it lasted longer, and wasn't so expensive. The cost is so high that I may go back to generics and send photos out to be printed.
