Whenever I get the HP alert that soon it's time for a new cartridge, I go to the HP on-line store and order new ones. I always order the color and black 2-pak which is much cheaper than buying them separately,and sometimes I order the longer-lasting ones which are even more economical. But am also glad I can buy the same cheaper 2-pack. They produce excellent color and B&W prints and I'll be a forever client of HP products.

I typically buy at my local office supply store as I work from home & like to get out a bit. But on this particular day I was in a hurry to receive some printer ink as I ran out unexpectedly & didn't have time to go to a store. HP promised FREE NEXT BUSINESS DAY DELIVERY which did not happen. I ended up having to go to the store anyway & my printing project was 2 days behind. If they are going to promise delivery by a certain date & time then they should be able to do it.

Then I tried take it out and reinstall, then it said missing cartridge and just can't print!!! and checked my order it says only can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery!!!! I spent $55 for a genuine HP ink and it is not working!!!! No faith on HP products

Mine is a C4480 so an older model.But HP products lasts so long that after years of use it still works fine. The ink from these cartridges produce clean and crisp images. I like the product and will keep ordering more when my printer warns me I'll soon run out of ink.

I do wsh they did not dry out so quickly, though, since as a "home user" I do not print reams of paper every week. THey dry before they run out, I am afraid. The shippping envelope seemed to be of the best quality but I am certaily glad I didn't have to pay for that, too.

And to add to the paid, HP gives you a coupon good on only $60 or more. Two cartridges come to about $55 and change, so you have to buy more to get the discount. Oh, well.

I have not had the need to use the products yet, but if they are the same as all the other HP Printer Ink that I have purchased in the past, I feel that it was a good purchase as far as price goes. I plan to continue HP Product purchases online the same way I purchased the ink. I was really impressed with the friendlyness, helpfulness, & the obvious knowlege from the person who I was able to converse with when making my purchase. Rated 5 out of 5 by from incompatible I purchased a Tri combo-pack 74,74,75. The box said "buy more. save more. The first 74 worked fine. The 75 worked. But when I finally needed to use the second 74, the printer showed an "incompatible" message. And the site of purchase would not refund any of the purchase price because it had been longer than 3 months. Moral of the story: DO NOT buy more than you need, because you will Not save more, and NO ONE will help when it is needed.

The black ink produces sharp clear printing, both dry quickly and even printing color photos on plain paper produces an excellent quality rendering. I've found no variation in color or quality in the cartridges purchased over the years, except improvement in color sharpness. We own 4 HP printers and would never use any other brand of toner or ink cartridge in them.

I printer indicator displays that I am out of ink long before the ink cartridge stops supplying ink. This is more than 50% discrepancy between the two.

As soon as I installed these cartridges, I started having problems with error messages such as, clear carriage and clear paper jam and place paper in tray. After spending hours on the help website to no avail, I called tech support and was told that my printer was old and I needed a new one. I explained the printer was perfectly fine until I installed the new cartridges and I felt the cartridges were defective. During the troubleshooting process when I tried to clean inside the printer, there were pools of ink to clean up. I was told that I could not return cartridges that had been opened. In desperate need of a printer, I ended up having to run out and buy a new printer. That's all I have to say.

I printed 50 photos and got message my color was out. Other printers I could print more. But all other features are excellent. Quality of pictures are like a pro did them.

It's sometimes feels like it would be cheaper to just go out and buy a new printer than keep buying ink. I have never had anything like this happen. Can I get a refund or something?

I think the cost is a little high, so I wish HP would lower the cost. And I hope the ink lasts a long time. I'm not yet sure if I would recommend it to a friend because I need to see how long it lasts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME!!! I previously shopped around the internet and tried to find discount ink cartridges and cheaper products. I was VERY disspointed in what I was finding. I found cheap ink...but that is what it was...CHEAP. Decided to take the plunge and spend a little more on actual HP ink. I will never buy used cartridges and ink again! I am so happy I spent the money on HP ink. And the deal was great . Not to mention, I was surprised to see the ink at my door the NEXT day. I figured it would take two days because I put the order in late...but I received it the next day. Great service!! Great ink!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tri-color 2 pack 2nd time defalt cartridges 2nd time I have purchased HP 74 Black/75 Tri-color 2-pack Original Ink Cartridges . With 1 cartridges that will not work. Printer will not recognize it default cartridge. And it's crazy hard to exchange and return for replacement. Remember to keep all wrapping containers that cartridges come in.You will need all information on them.

Would have preferred to deal with local store - less hassle when problems like this occur and can buy cheaper generic product. Don't expect this from new HP brand products. Will not order on line again.

It arrived very quickly and I have not had a problem with it as I have store bought ones that the ports are corrupt and will not feed the ink. One store manager told me since they are not a very popular cartridge they dry out on the shelf. He graciously gave me a replacement. Since, I have ordered from HP avoiding the problem. I have been a loyal HP customre for about 20 years, maybe longer.

It’s frustrating to pay for a cartridge that doesn’t work well. I just use the black & white option now (black cartridge works just fine).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Tri-color Cartridge I was disappointed with the Tri-color cartridge. The content of the cartridge did not give many copies before it ran out. What made it so bad was that I was printing pages with only 1% of the content in color. It was never a whole page of fill-in color. I went through 2 tri-color cartridges to the one black cartridge of which I am still using. Clearly poor quality coming directly from HP.

I hope they have those available next time I order!!
