As soon as I exchanged the old cartridge for the new one, hi ran several color copies to see if it would work properly. The yellow seems to do OK, but the blue and red are no good. Everything I print looks like I’m running out of ink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good ink Of course this is the ink I need and it's very good, I like it, I gave it two stars because the blue ink(Cyan) was defective, my printer tells me that particular ink was not compatible, all the other colors worked perfectly, the other reason for the two stars was I was trying to get in touch with someone about the ink and to no avail, via virtual on-line, they didn't have a topic on ink, so it was hard for me to get in touch with someone, so now I'm going to try the 800 number I was able to retrieve

I put them in just the other day and find out that the Magenta cartridge is EMPTY!!! This ink is too expensive to be shipped empty cartridges. My faith in HP is not on stable footing. There is no way (that I can find) to address this problem on the HP website. I have been loyal to HP for 30 years. So beware of empty cartridges.

I also would take this opportunity to question why different printers need different ink cartridges. My old printer used 564 cartridges and my current one uses 902's. Pardon me for being critical but it would seem that the two cartridges are virtually identical yet I had to throw away my 564 cartridges and forced to use 902's. I'm sure HP could produce a single print head/cartridge that can be used across your entire spectrum of inkjet printers. These ink cartridges aren't cheap!

I call HP and they replace all color cartridges on that order. Those worked extremely well and I had no problem with them at all. In fact, I think they lasted longer than normal. When I reordered about a month ago, the color cartridges, I printed 2 5x7 photos and the cartridge levels went down to 50 percent. I no longer print color photos and am taking my photos on disk to Walmart to process. I did not contact HP about this, just quit printing photos on my HP printer. I am wondering if anyone else has had diffuclty with HP color ink cartridges. I have used HP for years, and years and previously had no problem.

I was very disappointed. Not only that, but for the entire first year I was enrolled in "instant ink." Boy was that a big mistake. I was paying almost $40 a month and there was a PAGE LIMIT, which, of course, I went "over" every month, then when I inquired about the fact that I wanted to increase my plan, I still went over every month. I NEVER got ANY "free" ink from hp and as a matter of fact, when I stopped the "instant ink" they told me I had to THROW AWAY the ink cartridges that were currently in my printer and waste all that ink. The whole hp thing is a rip-off!!!

After about 45 minutes on customer support doing all kinds of cleaning processes, HP offered to send me a new printer - for $119.00. On-line search shows that non-printing of color is a common problem. I am done with HP and their overpriced ink.

Basically the yellow cartridge was about 2/3 gone! My solution to that was to just make it a point to print with just black ink for many of the things I do that are for only my benefit.

This time only one (Magenta) works. And the levels on Yellow and Cyan were at half the cartridge. These must be recycled.

The packaging is fine and I like that I can recycle the cartridges. My only complaint is the price. I do feel that it is expensive for what it is--ink. There is a huge markup here and while I understand this is a for-profit business (:-D) I do think the price is too high... for ink. That being said, it's a good product (but over-priced).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does Not Last; Too Expensive Ink cartridges work fine but don't last very long and I do very little color printing simply because the cartridges cost too much. And these do not produce the amount of pages that are estimated/promised. For what one gets with these cartridges, the cost is just WAY TOO HIGH. You all need to come down on your ink prices and that would put a stop to people trying to find less expensive ways to keep printing as most of us would rather purchase HP inks. I cannot even print most things in color due to how much ink the printer uses to do so. And I certainly cannot ever print photos because of this. It's way cheaper to have photos printed at CVS or Walgreens or Target or Walmart! Very irritating and frustrating.

Also both times the ink was all over the cartridge and my hands! I did not do anything the first time but when I received the second shipment it was time to complain.

I purchased the 902 tricolor pack when I purchased a HP office jet 6962 printer and to my regret such tricolor pack does not last long and although I print very little, after 6 months I was forced to buy a new 902 tricolor pack + the black 902 cartridge. I am astonished HP mentions such cartridges can print 315 pages ?

Not entirely sure I get the quantity of sheets that HP claims because the low-ink warnings come on seemingly on a time basis rather than usage. No problem with quality however.

Unsure of the longevity of the cartridge now and it got blue ink all over my hand. I have had this happen more than once with these cartridges, it's very frustrating.

Did a print test and got nothing. Tried to figure out what I did wrong. A friend suggested I clean the heads with alcohol. He did it for me and it worked!! Great color. He suggested that I print some color pages ever week to keep the cartridges working good. Wish the HP people had made that suggestion.

HP support suggested I replace the printer and they would give me a deal. I was willing to lose all the cartridges because I really thought there was a possibility I had a defective one. After replacing the first color cartridge everything worked perfectly. considering how many years I’ve had an HP printer work well I would recommend this. Just very poor customer service.

I did not want to drive over to Best Buy to purchase it because of the heavy Christmas traffic. Parking would have been awful. I decided to purchase this on line from HP for the first time. The package was delivered to my porch (I am lucky that I have a big area hidden from the street to leave it). The product was packed well and I installed the ink myself. I am NOT mechanically inclined so I watched the U-Tube video from HP to make sure that I installed it correctly and it was fine. I'll probably order on line again from HP.

The web site came up and showed me on the screen of my computer exactly what I needed from there I went to product and placed the order for the ink cartridges, which I was happy to say was way cheaper than what I have been paying for them in retail stores including Walmart. Keep the prices low, and the same amount of ink in the cartridges, because the stores are telling me there's not an equal amount of ink in the online cartridges, and I am passing the word we will all be purchasing the ink cartridges through Hewlett-Packard

I am extremely mechanically impaired lol, and I couldn't get my computer to hook up to that program that automatically sends you cartridges according to how much paper you use? I was extremely dismayed at myself so I just ordered the cartidges and I live in an apartment... to my surprise they weren't left in the mailbox but the very next day, (not very next business day) they were at my DOORSTEP! When my cartridges were depleted I tried to set up the instant ink ordering to no avail getting stuck on the third step.. So I ordered the new cartridges online which took a couple weeks to receive them. THey were easily installed and I am back to printing. I will attempt to get support help in setting up my instant ink program after the holidays.

That is NOT THE CASE currently. The cartridges are arrive dried out or damaged during manufacturing. The Cyan and Yellow give me the most issues. They will not release the ink or release too much ink which soaks into the paper. I am not a happy customer. I will be looking to replace both of my HP printers as soon as possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product with big problem I bought the XL Black ink & this 3 color package at the same time. The black had no problems, but the adhesive, from packaging, on all 3 of the color cartridges covered where the ink was released. We had to spend a couple of hours researching the possible problems. We finally found an FAQ online that talked about using a straight pin for this problem. That helped some. Then we had to run it through multiple tests on the computer, which was the recommendation from HP. The last test that finally seemed to fix it was the one that gave the warning about how much ink the test was going to require. By the time the final test fixed the problem, half of my ink was gone. I don't know where it went, because until that point there was not one bit of color on the paper, only the black ink, which gave me no problems. I love the quality of HP and this is the first time I have ever had any problems with their products, but it was a costly problem. This was the first time I had ordered a refill since this was a new printer for me. I hope this adhesive problem is not reoccurring.

For that it is good it would be better if I didn’t have to read the instructions to remove the packaging from the cartridge.

I doubt if I get 20 pages of color and 25 in black. When I can afford it I will switch to canon or a laser printer. I have had at least 5 hp printers and the ink situation keeps getting worse.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blue ink appears to be faulty New blue ink cartridge exhausted rapidly, so I replaced it and got the same result from the replacement. Next, I cleaned the printer head per YouTube directions and still got almost no blue ink. I then swapped the new cartridges to a spare printer that had no prior issues and got the same result: No blue. Replaced the blue ink for the third time in the spare printer. No blue from the new cartridge. There appears to be a problem with blue ink since it is unlikely that both printers experienced blue ink feed malfunctions simultaneously. I'm out three new cartridges and don't know where to go from here. Another brand?

I want to request a refund or replacement. This is ridiculous. I would have expected a better product from HP.

I print 2 crossword puzzles a day and maybe 10-20 total pages each week. But the printer is quick so it balances out.

Since we are at this residence half of the year it has seen less then 9 months of use. Returned north and found that all cartridges show empty. This is in-spite of the fact that I have yet to print in color and have reset to print in black only many times. Replaced the cartridges and the printer will not print at all. Apparently the printer heads are not functioning properly due to lack of use. $88 in cartridges nothing. I fired up and old Canon printer that we had that has not been used in years and it is working fine. I am tired of paying for colored ink when i do not print in color and paying outrages prices for ink. I have used HP printers for 30 years and this will be my last.

NONE have ever been replaced or shipped back with replacement toner cartridges. Have emailed HP with NO responses. I purchased these because we needed more.The colors leaked she opened up to install. The red leaks when printing. Not sure if these are defective cartridges?

I've run all the diagnostics several times and it looks like the magenta cartridge is defective. However, can't get a human at HP and Virtual Assistant was no help. My first lasted for over 12 years until Windows 10 and no drivers or support from HP. Now I have to either subscribe to catridiges that I might not need or pay a fortune for them. I am so disappointed as I always tresured my G85. These newer models are not as sturdy and they cost a fortune to maintain. The ink (because the amount is so small) always gives out when an important project is due. No more HP prodoucts for me.

I was shocked to see screen said: "The indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer." I took it back to our local BEST BUY store, and received a refund. After the first mishap, I reinserted the low-ink cartridges, which the printer accepted, and even said on screen "were previously used" ---therefore, fault not appearing to be with the printer. On next day, I tried again to replace these low-ink 902 cartridges, and the same incompatibility notice came up. To make a bad situation worst --- both the store and online HP said the 902 color cartridges are "not in stock". Is there any point of resolution for a loyal HP customer??

The cyan cartridge wouldn't install, got a message that the cyan cartridge was not made for this printer, so I couldn't use the printer at all. Rather than sending the cartridge back to you, I just ordered another cyan cartridge, the high yield one, and that one worked, but I'm out $23. So I ordered directly through HP to get genuine HP ink & I'm getting the same error messages! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible ink, did not work. I need a refund. Unfortunately, the blue cartridge did not register properly in the printer, so it won't work. The other colors from the same pack worked. The blue was the only one that my printer wouldn't accept. It's insane because this ink is the correct size and everything for my model of printer. I've always bought this ink. The only difference is that I ordered it directly from HP this time since all my local stores were out of stock. I won't be doing that again. I hope someone sees this and can refund me because I can't use this ink.

All of the numbers on the cartridges matched. Is there something to remedy this situation. Right now,I have re-inserted the empty cartridge, but this is unacceptable.

I installed the new cartridges and now I’m receiving the “incompatible ink cartridge” for the cyan ink. I opened the second box and installed the cyan cartridge from that box. Still receiving the same error. I would like a refund or replacements. I can’t use my printer at all. I already threw away the original cyan cartridge because it didn’t have any ink left.

Replaced the blue cartridge with the yellow and magenta and the new blue cartridge registered an "incompatible" warning and secured the printer. I ran the cartridge cleaning program on my computer twice, then printed the same document again. The quality was just as poor as the first printing and my printer alerted me that the cartridges were "low on ink." 10 pages of poor quality printing and the cartridges were exhausted!?! Shocking! If I could award "zero" stars for this product, then I would do so. I'll be contacting HP to pursue this issue.

When I installed these, the Cyan cartridge is being recognized as a non-HP product, even though it was purchased directly from HP. The other two cartridges work fine. I do not understand why HP would package and ship a product that is not compatible with their printer. There is no easy way to make contact with someone from Customer Service so I can get a new and printer-recognized Cyan cartridge shipped to me. This is very frustrating.

I had to call HP and they said it is a known issue. To their credit, they were replaced but it was a hassle having to do so. If it is a known issue, I don't understand why they ship it out that way.

I will never buy another printer with out researching the cartages again. I cant even use off brand ink because the computer on the printer wont recognize them. So essentially its HP ink or nothing. I get it the ink won't be "high quality" but it would print that is all I need. But I don't even get that choice.

My printer only uses HP ink so I bought it online from you, but it stopped working after only 2 weeks when the machine said there was still plenty of ink! We have an old 4200/4300 series printer that still works well. Its only problem is it is too old to have its drivers listed and every time Google updates our computer, it drops the printer from our setup. It requires a lot of work to reset it and get it going. Because of this, we purchased the new HP Printer. I hope we get the same type of service with this one as we have had with the other one. We value HP products and will continue using them for a long time.

After loading my last expensive set of CMY cartridges, and after the constant 'automatic online delays while HP is performing almost daily "maintenance routine" on my printer --- which most of think is a means by which to hijack our printer and deliver premature 'Cyan ink cartridge low ink warning' notifications. I'm sick of HP, the lousy quality of the inks, low performance, and outrageous high priced junk. We tell everyone we know "do not buy HP printers unless you want constant problems, unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars a year per ink cartridges, and cumulative hours of downtime waiting for "machine busy... maintenance being performed".

I cleaned the printer head several times. It did not occur to me, at first, to check the ink levels. After all, they were "new" or should have been. This evaluation was correct. Color printing does not result in reliable color, only reds, yellows and their color combinations are printed. Blue does not seem to print at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent, vibrant prints every time This standalone color set is a must since my HP OfficeJetPro 6978 seems to use color a little more rapidly than black ink, but that's because, as an artist, I love color and when I print patterns or other reference, I need it to be in full color. It's handy too because when one of the B&W+Color ink packs had a defective cartridge, I had this pack on hand and was able to switch it out asap. That said, I did contact HP about the defective cartridge and their CSR Rayna was fabulous in helping me and she was even able to send me a new magenta cartridge free of charge to replace the defective one. I still recommend that print users should keep an extra pack of ink on hand at all times, just in case, you never want to be left without the ability to print in full color at a moment's notice.

I took the other two color cartridges out until HP sent me a replacement and installed a new set of three. When the new blue cartridge arrived I installed it along with the original red and yellow but by then the red and yellow had dryer out and would not work. Had to throw all three away. A total loss. Very disappointing. It seems you can only buy them in sets of three

I am a senior citizen with arthritis and it is very difficulty for me to twist it off. It requires much strength which I don't possess. My 45 year old son even had difficulty removing it. Previous refills for other brands of printers just had a strip to remove. I won't use any brand other than HP in this printer..

The only drawback this time was the delivery time but I chalked it up to the pandemic. It took 8 days to get these products. I just have to stay on top of the ink levels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Go buy an Epson printer my printer uses HP902 ink, I couldn't find it anywhere, even HP didn't have all the cartridges in stock so I had to buy from various retailers and wait over a month to find it. Once I got all my cartridges delivered I replaced them and now I kept getting printer errors similar to Cartridge not installed. After watching various youtube videos over a week I got the errors to go away and my printer recognized my new cartridges. Happy that my problems were behind me I was again saddened a week later when my printer was telling that one of my new cartridges was now empty. To solve this issue I bought an Epson printer and I have been happy ever after. to replace all the ink is a third the cost and whenever I need to print something I don't get an error and have to figure out how to fix it.

Bring back some of those jobs to the USA. Next, the delivery took almost 3 weeks to get from Phoenix to Duluth MN with DHL and FedEx, that not even close to being acceptable in todays world of eCommerce. I won't order anything from hp ..... ever!

After stocking up on $200 worth of remanufactured ink, about 10 cartridges worth, the printer no longer recognized them. I was forced to buy the more expensive genuine HP products. They are more expensive and 2 of them didn't work in the printer either. Was the print quality any better? Honestly, it was about the same. Being forced to buy a more expensive product that is becoming hard to find. When this printer dies, I'm not buying HP again.

The printer said the cartridge was defective and wouldn’t work. I removed it and put in my old one and the printer gave me the low ink message. I tried the new one again and got the same defective message again. I had to go buy another new cartridge locally so the printer would work.

Very convenient having all three colors in one package especially in previous months, I have had to shop around for when stores were out of stock for any one of the color ink cartridges. My complaint with this particular ink cartridge due to the HP-6978 Printer I purchased - the ink prints very wet resulting in less than vibrant colors and going through the cartridges quicker. I don't do a high volume of printing so I assumed the cartridges would last longer than expected but they don't.

The web site said 2 day shipping, with that I expected to have them in a few days. Nope it didn't happen. 2 1/2 weeks later I finely received them. As for the product itself I gave it 5 stars. Shipping I would give it 0 stars. Yet it could have been due to COVID as well as using snail mail.

Either I find a longer lasting ink or a powder type, used; I think in laser jets, or I will probably find a Co. that offers a more less expensive 4 in1 INK printer!

He checked it out and told me the blue ink was empty. How could I be happy with that? For now I will stick to black only. I can't afford more ink right now. Within a week of putting in the new Cyan cartridge, it was showing empty and I had to replace it with the 2nd cartridge I bought. Even that one, after only 3 weeks, is showing only 1/3 ink left. Similar is happening with the first yellow cartridge I installed. I installed a new yellow cartridge on Feb 2, 2021 and, now, after only 1 month, it is almost empty. My printing is not that heavy. In the last 4 weeks, I have printed about 150 pages.

The cyan ink was defective and wouldn't allowed for good printing. I chatted online with HP and they were kind enough to say they will send me a replacement at no charge. That's the second issue as the replacement has never showed up. Hopefully it will soon.

They super pushy about their monthly fee service, super annoying there is no direct option to just buy an ink and keep pushing this subscription again and again. I told myself never use their subscription, wait until it broken (last hp printer had problems with printing head ) switch to another company and never buy HP again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP is slipping. My new laptop is very slow and I haven't even installed anything on it yet. Now I find HP doesn't make the standard 3 color set of 920 cartridges any longer. The 902 cartridges fit my printer physically, but cause an error when I try to use them. Since the 902s fit my printer, it is apparently some type of identifier in the cartridge causing the error. HP apparently could easily just remove the identifier or make the 902 and 920 interchangeable. However like most things HP makes, they force customers to change by making each device become incompatible after a few years. Also, I have in the past bought at least 5 HP printers, 4 HP laptops, an HP digital camera, an HP scanner, and an HP PC display. I registered them all. Now on record with HP they only show my new laptop. The new laptop was defective right out of the box. It is so slow I have to wait for the cursor to catch up. It would not allow me to load my fully licensed lifetime copy of Microsoft Office Pro 2016 either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not correct order I have not received any cartridges plus I need 910 or 910 XL , not 902 as stated and confirmed by a rep. Last order I also trusted Hp to send me the right one and my printer would not accept it and it kept saying " the cartridge is not communicating with the printer. Wrong inks sent to me then too, so must be the reason. My printer is 8035e series so now make sense why it would not work and this latest one won't work either when ai do received it. The last order was not working but since I opened it, it probably can't be returned now. .
