Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor paper feed design! Have had for a while. Although it's print quality is good, the paper feed is atrocious!. Once a print job is completed, almost invariably I have to pull the paper tray and put pressure on the stack to get the paper to again feed properly.

By the time I went thru the process of trying to call customer support the warranty expired and I don't see any option to repair, so it's going in the trash.

The web site was a little tough to navigate and I know I picked an all in one printer with a document feeder. When this printer came, I tried to send it back, but they would not accept returns. The quality of the printed page is very good and the ease in set up is nice. I can print from my phone with no problem. I would not recommend this as a sole printer, for a house, but only as a dedicated printer for someone that never needs to copy. Really no copier function?

It was cheaper to purchase a printer than throw away the ink I had. That is the only reason I purchased "just a printer". Not happy that ink is not interchangeable with other machines.

We've barely used it, and now it will not feed any size paper. I spent more time than it's worth trying to fix it. We didn't even get to use the new cartridges in it that we bought.

It is reliable and very fast, prints on both sides, has never jammed, and includes the valuable "E-print" feature which will deliver downloads to its own E-mail address when tied to an on-line network In my case, I receive two crossword puzzles daily, whether or not the computer is on. The printer will reproduce the body and attachments of an E-mail sent to its address, a really neat feature. The included HP software is user-friendly and comprehensive. Main (minor) complaint: Extending or collapsing the output tray lacks smoothness - the plastic is durable but slightly "sticky." Good buy, versatile and inexpensive to boot.

When I tried using knock-off ink cartridges, the printer would reject them so I've been buying HP cartridges. Printing has been fine. Now in 11/2016, the black will not print---tried print head cleaning, new black cartridges---just won't print from the black cartridge. Lucky that I had bought a SqaureTrade warranty, otherwise I'd be out of luck with a printer that lasted 14 months.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer except for printhead I bought this to replace one that started streaking after 2 years. Discovered that the print head can't be cleaned and is not replaceable. Since this is almost the only printer you can get without a built-in scanner I bought it with a 3 year replacement Care Package. My use is almost all graphics, posters, etc. The printer does a fantastic job of these.

This printer only prints. for the same money you can get an all in one (which is what I thought I was getting-my bad) It turns off for a power saver mode and you have to turn it on every time you print. It is a pain. No jams yet like others have said but it is still new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A lot of bang for your buck. This is just a "smart" machine. The touch screen makes all tasks easy to perform. At first the paper did not pass through cleanly when printing. I just spun the feeder wheels to make them loose and it worked great after that. I really like the two sided print feature. The monthly printer ink plan is just too good to be true. MY hat is off to HP for making a quality machine at a great price with a consumer friendly ink renewal program!

After a couple of months, we got a notice that the ink was running low. We had printed maybe 100 pages. Okay, we thought, maybe the starter ink was not too generous, so we spent about $80.00 (nearly the initial cost of the printer) on high-yield ink cartridges. A couple of months, and maybe 50 average density sheets later, the black ink says it's nearly empty. I got the HP ink sales pop-up to order more ink. Are you kidding me? No way! This is not at all acceptable! I thought that purchasing an officejet pro would bring some professional print capacity, and the ability to sit for more than a few weeks without drying out. Other printers I've had, or used at work, aren't this thirsty. What can be done about this?

Pulled the new cartridges from my old printer into this one and all I get is flashing lights. No printing. No online help I could find. No time to deal with a printer that isn't quick and easy to set up.

I have a daughter in HS and she always needs to print something and it works fine. But it is very noisy. It also doesn't have a scanner to make copies. I overlooked this when I bought it. I just wanted to make sure it was an air-printer. So the scanner part was my fault.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Idle sounds are terrible! I use this as an individual printer at work, so it sits right next to me. It is quick enough, efficient enough and performs well enough. But the incessant high-pitched squealing noises it make during the time in between printing and sleeping are just intolerable. I recommend this printer as long as you don't have to sit within earshot of it.

Very easy to set up, which was a must. Some opening glitches, but solved. Print quality good. Cons: "Buttons" on printer are black on black, hard to read when printer is on a bottom shelf. Wish I could view the paper tray when printing, as in previous models.

Replaced it with the same printer in October 2016 and right out of the box after set up, print head will not leave the "home area".

The disc was great to help me get my laptop to connect to it and to connect it to the internet. The price was affordable even on my fixed income and the print was sharp and easy to read. Now I can file my own income tax free online and have a printed copy. Thanks HP.

The price of the ink replacement cartridges are, to me on the high side. My biggest disappointment is that every one of these I have owned eventually just suddenly stopped printing one or more colors....one stopped printing all colors at once and one all black at once. Easy to set up on a network.

I only rated Reliability Good because our work environment is a dusty wood shop so printers usually only last a couple of years.

This model is less than a standalone inkjet and the throughput is is at the speed required. Like any inkjet it's not the cost of the printer by the cost of the ink. Works Great. Needed in a hurry and CDW as always came through.

I was excited when I found this printer for our home office as we use numerous wireless devices that have no printer ports. However this printer stopped printing after 4 months. Every page sent to the printer would come out blank. Spent $70 on their 4 new ink cartridges and it still didn't print. Went through print cartridge cleaning cycle and it still won't print black.

Took longer to get here than expected and it was terrible to connect wireless. Would not recommend, there are much simpler units available now that are much easier to install. Would have sent it back but school had already began and the shipping to receive was like 2 weeks.

This printer hardly EVER works. I just replaced ink cartridges and now it's printing blank pages! I've never had so many issues with a printer. I am beyond frustrated. Guess I'll have to continue to bum off my friends' printers or find working printers elsewhere. Beyond disappointed in this product. DO NOT BUY!

Takes up very little space, super lightweight, no fax or scan but nowadays not necessary for the most part.. Prints very well, fast also. Have not been able to get a wireless hookup working but will contact HP tech for help.

It was with fear and trepidation that I bought a new printer after giving my previous one away because I couldn't figure out how to do the ONE thing I needed.....print! You can't print anything until you resolve this issue, so called HP and it has been 2 weeks now and no new setup black cartridge yet. I have bought HP printers for 25 years and never had an issue. I hope this is a one time issue. Needed this one for the store and it needed to fit under the counter which it does.

Check for a paper jam or other obstruction. Press the OK button below or the OK or Resume button on the printer when ready.To cancel the printe job, press the Cancel (X) button on the printer or click Cancel Print." Review not for publishing just expressing my frustration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not Available for instant ink Program I wish they would put on the box that this product in NOT available for instant ink. The Instant ink program is great but I feel they should put this important fact on the box, or in this case on their websire which is where I purchased it. I am (was) an HP fan but no more. Feel like I wasted my money.
