horrible warranty and service.
I paid $2300 for the printer. Broke in about 5 months. Called for service/warranty help which made me prove i purchased the printer. Service department says "I don't have access you your purchase history" you have to send a copy of receipt. Long story short, say they would do nothing as generic cartridges were used which voids warranty. NOBODY told me that in advance. But it is in the fine print. Still no help or warranty. Repair cost of $1500. I have about 7 hp printers in my company and 2-3 hp computers. But I will never buy anything hp ever in the future. I have never bought anything but hp printers my 45 yrs of life.

Good printer, bad service
Unfortunately, we didn't get a good deal here. Purchased it for 1.5 times its current selling price straight from HP. A few months later they retracted their support for this enterprise printer. We had to negotiate and go through some "backdoors" to get a refund and return on it, even though it was still under warranty. It caused us a few technical problems getting it set up, and was not updated when it arrived, did not include any user guide or CD instructions. It does NOT scan to a computer app, which was a critical feature we needed but was not specified in the technical details, as far as I could find.
It does print well, very fast, quick to respond, good quality color and B&W and great scanner and copier. Love the new interface, so it has some good points. But as far as I know, this printer is a dud because HP won't support it anymore. All things considered, I would not recommend this printer.
