Great versatility!
I'm very happy I bought this adaptor since we have several HP laptops in the house. It will come in very handy! I will say that occasionally one side of the adaptor doesn't stay plugged in, but I could be doing something wrong.

"Incompatible" ... Very confusing
"Incompatible" - I purchased this HP power adapter from a page related to my new HP laptop. I was very confused to find there was an error noting "incompatible power adapter" even though both were HP products and the power adapter was one of the recommended accessories.
I've since returned this as I did not want to risk being told the warranty of the laptop was void or some other issue.

seemed like a good idea at the time
I got a new truck driving job and was going to be taking my computer with me. To my surprise the truck has several regular A/C outlets and I don't need the adapter I bought. It's still in the box, unused.

Versatile Replacement Power Supply
I like the fact that this power supply came with adapters for three sizes of power jacks. Thus, I was able to use it to power up two different old laptops that I did not have power supplies for.
