Ensure that your device keeps functioning at an optimum temperature by using this Juniper Networks High-Capacity Fan Tray, which is designed as a component of the cooling system for the Juniper Networks SRX5800 Services Gateway. The cooling system components work together to keep all services gateway components within the acceptable temperature range. The SRX5800 Services Gateway has two fan trays located in the front of the device that install horizontally above and below the card cage. This high-capacity fan tray has 12 fans that operate at 976 cubic feet per minute (CFM) at full speed and that are required when high-capacity power supplies are installed. When high-capacity fan trays are installed, you must also install the high-capacity air filter tray. The fan trays are interchangeable and are hot-insertable and hot-removable. The high-capacity cooling system satisfies the cooling requirements of SPC2 and must be used for proper cooling. If you do not have high-capacity power supplies and fan trays installed, the services gateway will log an alarm condition when it recognizes the SPC. The services gateway must be running Junos OS Release 10.4 or later in order to use this high-capacity fan tray.
