Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful little computerThis is a wonderful little computer. I bought it as a travel computer, and it lives up to my expectations. The keyboard is typically good as all Lenovo keyboards are. It is small and light enough to read ebooks on the plane in tablet mode, but you can do serious work once you get to the hotel. Google's Chromebook package exceeded expectations. It can do almost everything my Windows computer can do, but the apps are free. I bought a wireless mouse to use with it since I've found that mice are much faster than using the touchscreen. The only negative is that Chromebooks do not have GPS chips and, therefore, you can't use mapping services in your car unless you tether to a cell phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SUPER CHROMEBOOKHad a Samsung tablet( 10.1 ) that after 5 years decided to retire. I was going to get another tablet but decided to look at Chromebooks since I use the Goggle OS on tablets and all the games I like are on Goggle Play I decided to go for a Chromebook. I picked the LENOVO 500 for its flip feature but I am amazes at how well it is put together and how fast it is. Very easy to use and the pen feature is really a plus HIGHLY RECOMMEDED to anyone thinking of a tabet an the Android OS.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid compact machinegreat little machine with excellent touch capabilities. screen/dimensions are compact; this can be viewed as a good thing or not, but works for my purposes. did have issues with the sound/speakers acting up after putting to sleep and reopening with online video pages already opened (would play back scratchy/garbled) but os update seems to have fixed(?) as I haven't had the issue since the last update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Real "notebook" PC perfect for home & travelI bought my Lenovo 500e Chromebook to replace a 4-year old 11" Acer Chromebook that was giving sluggish performance. I could have paid for any Lenovo laptop I wanted, but after much consideration I bought this machine because it has all the great new features I wanted, that Lenovo does better than anyone else--a Gorilla glass touchscreen; a writing pen that is stored in the machine so I can't lose it; a rugged housing that can withstand spills, cat hair, and possibly being dropped from the sofa or bed onto a wooden floor; and a flexible form factor so I can use it as a laptop, tablet, in presentation mode or completely flat. I am a writer who stores my work in the cloud (I use Google Drive and some other services, I use streaming music services a lot, and everything else I do at home, I do on the web. I am not a gamer, I don't shoot or edit video, and I don't use big, commercial apps at home. I take pictures, read a lot of ebooks, stream music and movies, and write. This laptop is compact, light, doesn't have a bootup cycle--you just open it and it's on--you sign in and off you go. I can't recommend it enough.
