Warranty upgrade for 3 year Depot base warranty models.
Lenovo's ThinkPad notebooks and tablets, including ThinkPad L450, incorporate a sealed battery specifically designed for ultra-thin products. With a noncustomer replaceable battery, replacement involves depot servicing by a trained technician. Protect your investment by extending the 1-year base battery warranty to a 3-year total duration Sealed Battery Warranty. A low upfront cost provides significant savings relative to a non-covered battery replacement, and saves the hassle and frustration of dealing with unplanned IT expenses.
This Service provides additional coverage against accidental damage. Coverage includes operational or structural failures under normal operating conditions or handling, minor liquid spills, unintentional drops and bumps, damage from electrical surges, LCD screen failure. Accidents not covered include cosmetic damage, damage from intentional misuse, damage due to unsuitable operating environment or improper maintenance, theft or loss, external peripherals, consumable parts (e.g. batteries), removal or alteration of parts, accessories, keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, damage to the stylus and third-party products (even if they have been sold by Lenovo). Accidental Damage Protection must be purchased within 90 days of the Lenovo hardware purchase. The service term begins concurrently with the product warranty.
