Great Concept but...
Bought this adapter with the hope of utilizing it for two Lenovo laptops purchased one year a part. The newest laptop has the USB-A type power connection and the one year older unit has a barrel type connector. NOTE: the barrel connector on this adaptor is LARGE (hard to tell in the photo). SO - if the barrel connector power input on your laptop is larger than "standard" - you'll be okay. If it is a standard size (like mine) it won't work (too big). Unfortunately, I spent hours trying to confirm this before ordering but there is really no good solid info out there about this adaptor. Great idea, great price, just didn't work for me.
