Even someone with no experience on setting up a router will not have any problems installing this. It's not to big and I have my modem sitting on top of the router. It provides a powerful signal that reaches all areas of my house. We have a 200 sf Ranch.

I have full signal through my 3bdroom house on 5g and have yet to experience any issues. 10/10 would highly recommend. Also the added parental controls BY DEVICE is an added bonus with kids.

I named the slower but more distant signal Tortoise and the faster Hare - works well when I'm out in the barn or in the shop - no need for a second router so it saved me money.

My wife is not technical at all, but I was able to talk her through the set-up with minimal effort. Also the 5G WiFi literally gets the same speeds as my hardwired computer. So my iPhone is getting 120 up and 120 down now. Very sleek look. My smart panel looks awesome now because it's paired with the CM700. Great product. Would highly recommend to anyone trying to beef up their home or small business network.

The new router is very fast, easy to set up and economical. It is a little large and takes getting used to as well a finding a place for it to fit. It was simple to set up and register and the connection has been great - a million times better than my previous router - I wish I would have upgraded to this router a long time ago!

What a difference, though, in connection speeds amongst multiple devices connected to the new router. Easy to set up, I really like the improved interface, but thankfully, it is still similar enough to the interface Netgear has used for years, making it familiar to navigate. A bit larger than my old router, but worth the upgrade!

I noticed with the arris I was only getting around 15mbps with my Nvidia shield hardwired. Now same setup but with a netgear router and netgear cable modem I'm finally getting close to what I'm paying for. There app is extremely helpful and convenient also. Netgear has a fan for life!!!

Will likely look at a WiFi extender from Netgear to address this. Easy setup and easy use. The app is also easy to use to update and adjust settings.

I noticed ping drop by 3-5 and the download speed up by 4-6 mbps compared to the factory router at n t provided. Its also very easy to set up, it was a breeze. Its also modified for streaming videos. Videos stream better now. Especially with our smart TV.

It also registers itself at dynamic DNS web site and port forward to my laptop to facilitate daily backup which is controlled from my Linux server hosted elsewhere.

When we updated our sons gaming room no one could use the WiFi while he was gaming or he would “lag”. This lil gadget has made life a lot easier. Great user interface that I can access easily from my computer or phone. I used to have to change my ip address just so I could get to my old one. This router is so easy to manage. I highly recommend it.

Since it was replacing an older Netgear router, the interface was familiar and I had completed setup well within 30 minutes. So far it has performed flawlessly and the Nighthawk app is handy, allowing remote access to the router functions, even remote rebooting the router if necessary.

The NetGear router solved all my issues and erased the headache I was having. It provides strong WiFi across all three floors of our townhouse and it was super simple to set up! There are approximately 18 devices connected most of the time, including 2 desktops, 3 tablets, 2 iPhones, 3 printers, a scanner, and a TV. Oh yeah, the thermostat also. It's a cinch to install and the Netgear genie software makes it easy to gen and monitor. Works for me!

I first but a wifi extender but it was a temporary solution. With this new product the wifi has been expanded and the signal is strong. I highly recommend trying. For around $100 it was a great deal.

We are now a family with 3 teenagers and so we can easily have 10 devices connected at a time. Our previous router could not handle all of the devices that were connecting and kept crashing. Now, we can run more devices and at further distances from the router. No more lag time in gaming nor "Will someone please restart the router" calls from across the house.

Unpackaged and installed within 15 minutes using the procedure and my smart phone, including reading the instructions. All devices (Windows, Apple iOS, and Android connected easily, including file sharing between my Apple MacBookPro and Windows 10 desktop. (My cable company only has 200 mb bandwidth at the moment and the modem / router location needs to be optimized.)

Then I bought this modem and I was blown away. It actually works and the set was super-easy.

The installation app had some connecting issues and confusion as not everything was intuitive during the install after I had changed the names for the signals. But I was able to work through the installation and got everything going.

My 10 year old RangeMax needed to be replaced to achieve the bandwidth now available from my ISP [Comcast].With a minimum of research it was clear that the R6400 was my best cost/benefit value.Easy setup via browser, 2.4 and 5 GHz speed and good coverage for a 2 story 3,000sf house.P.S. The Macintosh version of the Netgear Genie app is a little buggy on OSX 10.11.6 so I don't use it.

Every time I go to someone else's house I connect to WiFi just to find myself disconnecting because of how slow my phone and laptop are. The setup was pretty easy and took about 15-20 minutes to get all the settings/firmware updates complete. The tools to monitor your network are great and I’ve enjoyed the user experience. My only hiccup was a few days ago my WiFi just went out? None of my devices were seeing my network, it was unreachable, and no way to reset other than a hard reset. My wired connections had no issue, just my WiFi. It was pretty strange, but has not occurred again so far.

This router was so easy to set up! You have to put the app on your phone to get it set up but it was super easy. There is also an app you can use with it to set up controls for the kids which I really needed for our home. We use to have trouble while upstairs with streaming services but this router solved that problem. I highly recommend this Netgear router. It’s a great value and is good for a multiple story home and can handle many devices at one time.

The written instructions for set up were not clear on a few points but after several attempts to get the unit connected to my modem, it finally did connect and seems to be working fine. I wanted the ability to establish a "Guest" Wifi for our tenant, which was fairly easy to do.

The modem needs to be fully booted up before connecting the router. So far it has been flawless Customer service was excellent and defiantly one of the best I’ve dealt with.

Therefore setting up a new DSL modem and a wireless router on my own seemed daunting at first. I combined the D-link modem with the Netgear WiFi router and found the setup to be easy and convenient. No complications. The WiFi and LAN work well. I recommend this product for anybody living in rural areas where only DSL is available. The protection software seems to work, reporting potential attempts, why anybody wants to access it is beyond me.

There has been a lot more disruption in the service as well. I just had the cable and phone disconnected. So we will see how it works now.

My router is at the opposite corner of the house and the router that came with the fiber optic service could not provide a strong signal to that notebook computer. I bought the AC1750 and the speed and signal strength skyrocketed. Couldn't be more pleased with the results.

To this day the router performs exceptionally and without fault. I would recommend this to anyone buying their first router, as the setup is quite easy. The safety features are great to use along with the meter feature. I most like the network map so I can see which devices are currently using my WiFi. The router came with a guide on how to set up the router as well as how to activate and connect the Netgear app that comes with the newer models. As someone who has not needed to use an app for controlling my internet, it was nice to get a little set-up guide that made it easy! Definitely would recommend to others who are looking for just a wifi router.

It's so easy to set up not that I thought it would be hard but for someone that's not very knowledgeable with routers and stuff this is simple. Just download the suggested app and go from there. The picture was blocked out every time the microwave was used with my old router. With the NETGEAR AC1750 I no longer lose the picture (buffering) and the reception is much better.

The setup took about five minutes, and only had to reconfigure a couple of my devices. 2.4/5ghz wireless speeds almost doubled, and Ethernet connections doubled as well. The app has good information and help with many features. Only beginning to scratch the surface. I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Netgear tech reps initially stated that it should work with no problem but after some diagnosis work that recommended that I purchase a new router. I should not have to buy a router every few years.

This AC1750 has a stronger signal, more stable connection and its nice being able to link all of the smart home devices on the 2.4ghz band and then dedicate the devices that are used more frequently to the 5ghz band.

It was a little difficult to set up since I needed cell or internet service and my booster doesn't work w/out WiFi and if my WiFi was working I wouldn't have needed the new router

Speed and bandwidth have been good despite having 2 or 3 of our five kids online at the same time. Just using the basic functionality. I haven't used any of the special features. I recommended that my sister buy one. She did, and she's had no problems with it in her home. I think it's a good value in a midrange router.
