Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Switch.. perfect for gamingThis is a great switch. When paired with my Linksys WRT32X router, I'm getting the fastest speeds on speedtests I've ever gotten. Now when I play Street Fighter 5 and it's lagging, I know it's not me. My ping and jitter are excellent so it has to be the other guy. Getting great ping times in good ole Battlefield 4 also. I give this switch 8 stars. It's easy to setup and easy to use.

I need the fastest throughput I can get and this provided just what I needed. I am able to prioritize the port I'm on to ensure that my classes get the fastest speed possible.

All of my previous switches couldn't handle everything i would throw at them and this one doesn't have any issues ever. No more Roku disconnects, Roku speed was about 5mbs, now over 11mps. Made it my primary internet feeder and WOW, AMAZING FASTER SPEED.

Its an 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch (One is uplink so 7+1) is a versatile, easily configurable network switch designed gaming and 4K media streaming as well as basic network connectivity such as file sharing. It has low latency, port prioritization with Quality of Service settings. Also important is the port bonding so you can connect a high end NAS box and get faster speeds. It can all be configured from a browser or phone. I use IOS (Apple) and it works fine both ways.So if you need a super fast 8 port Gigabit switch with lots of features. This may be it. It was the best one I could find. I'm happy with my choice.

I was impressed by professional construction of this solid router. You can also control the LEDs to display port status and activity. Bottom Line an absolute Awesome addition to any Home Network.

Stealth Mode takes care of that! Stealth Mode only turns the LED lights to my connections and the LED light for the unit itself off. Both are independent of each other! I can turn one or the other or both! Of course, I use the Gaming Mode when using my XBOX ONE X... and it puppy has several other pre-sets depending on what your needs are! Awesome well thought out device!

All my devices connect easily and transfer speeds are as expected. Setup was pretty simple too. Although there's not much functionally to gain over a normal switch, you have to give credit for the style points over boring networking gear boxes.

Whether it be checking connections, prioritizing speeds, or diagnosing any initial problems it exceeds expectations. To put it simply, it is fast, has a plethora of utilities for an Ethernet switch, and is very versatile. I especially appreciate the ability to customize the port prioritization as opposed to being limited to the presets. This switch has been extremely useful for me and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I upgraded to 1 Ghz internet streaming across the board with the Netgear switch and better Cat 7 ethernet cables. The switch does a fantastic job of prioritizing each channel according to my needs. The switch's small size also fits in nicely with the blu-ray player and cable box. Excellent job of design on this one Netgear!
