This service covers the configuration of a single Router, Switch, or Firewall. It includes component installation, system software installation, configuration file upload and customization. SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT

This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.

SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• All equipment required for install will be unboxed
• All equipment will be thoroughly inspected for physical damage or blemishes
• Any defective components will be replaced from CDW’s inventory
• All installed components will be tested for basic functional operation
• If applicable the IOS/System software will be upgraded/downgraded to the specified version (may require vendor support contract to qualify for update)
• If applicable customer provided configuration file will be uploaded to the device (configuration file must be for the same model of hardware)
• If applicable the configuration file will be modified based on site specific variables (ex: IP, host name, subnet mask)
• All configurations will undergo a comprehensive Quality Control process
• The successfully configured network or security device will be re-boxed for shipment

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• Customer will provide network configuration information, working configuration files or filled out questionnaire as needed
• Customer may send configuration file(s) via FTP or RMA

ASSUMPTIONS
•Seller will have the configuration information uploaded and stored on secure servers
•Seller will apply the configuration and report any errors back to customer before it is cleared for deployment
•Seller will archive all outdated or unused configuration files for future use and store for one year. After one year of storage, they will be deleted from Seller’s database.
• Seller’s Account Manager will create install configuration and include service EDC(s)
• Seller’s Account Manager will enter specific any additional instructions in to the Installation Notes on the order

OUT OF SCOPE
• Network or Security device over 3U form factor
• Any performance tuning, system optimization or similar activities
• Design or consulting assistance
• Performing any Services not specified herein

SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order

PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
• Any single Netcom device (up to 3U form factor), and its supported hardware options
• The IOS/Firmware/System Software update(s) must be supported by the hardware manufacturer
• Any changes to this SOE shall require a Change Order executed by both parties

CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms & Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein
