Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality, perfect size for my travel folder Good size to more than adequately take in my leather travel 3-ring folder. Along with our passports, I print out all our trip plans, cruise excursions, hotel reservations, airline itinerary, boardng passes and so on. I got tired of loosely carrying the folder and pulling two suit cases. By placing the folder into this Sasonite "Shuttle'" and the strap over my shoulder I feel free to use my hands and have the added security knowing all my valuable papers are tucked under my arm. This case is not too thick and it's very light. Perfect for my use.

After looking at a lot of leather bags, I went with this bag because it holds my laptop perfectly, keeps my stuff organized, fits well on my roller suitcase, and the price was right. After several plane rides, it looks brand new and I've grown attached to it.

Therefore, before i used this, i applied Goop to all four handle attachments and it has held up for a year or so now, and no sign of it tearing or wearing. I also had to add velcro to the pockets inside to allow them to somewhat close. Overall, it is exactly what i was looking for, my Surface 2 fits nicely inside the larger zipper pocket on front.

It's so light that I don't feel like I'm carrying 500 pounds on my shoulders when going to meetings or traveling. Definitely a great investment if you carry a 17" laptop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good. I've been using it for a week. The case has a comfortable hand strap & there's a shoulder strap add-on too. Not too much pockets. Storing the plug for the computer will make it a bit bulky, but still looks nice if you store it properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2nd time purchase and I still love it I purchased the same brief case about 3 years ago and used everyday, including the foreign country traveling about 5 times a year. Finally one of the zipper started getting bad (not zipper itself but the cloth connecting nylon body and zipper started be apart from seam) and got hard to close, so I decided to buy another one. The size is enough to carry daily use. laptop, notes, documents and gadgets but not too much (which makes me organizing the bag often), inside organizer are reasonable size to put small staffs. but after a years of use, I kind of think that it is a little small for nowadays use- carrying phones, tablets and related small items, like earphone, charger and everything. I still carry this for international travel but when I bring novel and some extra staffs, finally it gets really full, which I expect the reason why I got the zipper problem. it would be perfect for me that they can expand depth of front space a little bit more. Overall, I think it is great brief case for general business use. only reason I gave 1 star minus is that the one part of plastic tube which going around the edge of bag came off from the seam within 3 days of use. But it does work no problem and I still love it.

The outer material matches my carry on bag perfectly, but the inside is where it really shines. Very nice fabric with nice padding. It feels very professional and looks very high quality. I am amazed at how nice it is at this price point.

Ordered another and it fits 17" but was not exactly as I expected. Could not find one exactly like the old worn out bag that I have carried for 4 years. Don't like this one but will make do.

It's great to take to a work site when I don't need to roll the laptop into the building - just grab and go! I got this in black to replace an identical gray one that started getting dingy-looking after 12 years.

For me everything is perfect EXCEPT as another reviwer has said the cheap faux leather handles pealed and fell apart after about a year or less. The rest of the bag has stood up fine . I actually prefer the nylon in this bag to leather i have had on others as it seems to stand up better. But c'mon Samsonite you can do much better than this cheap handle material

I felt I had to upgrade my scholastic style and got the Samsonite! It fits all my books and folders and sometimes I can add a water bottle, two if I don't have a thick book. It fits my 17 in. screen laptop perfectly. Unfortunately it is a little heavy when I include my laptop, but on the days I don't, it's just right. I love the quality of the bag, the adjustable straps and all the compartments.

I also bought it for the padded shoulder strap and the padding was lame. A little tiny pad the will not protect my shoulders going through large airports. The padding needs to be thick and ergonomic. I sent the bag back.

Two zippered sections, two zippered front pouches, and one Velcro rear pouch where I store the shoulder strap. One of the top zippered pouches and one of the front zippered pouches have convenient separators to organize smaller items. There is even a tier of 4 pockets for credit cards, ID cards, and so on. My 15" Toshiba Satellite laptop easily fits in the main compartment. Frankly, I carry this with me wherever I go, even without my computer in it. I highly recommend this product.

Better design for hooking onto roller bag, better front pockets intended for controlling stuff, a divider in the side designed for paperwork. Also ideal for lightweight protection of laptops.
